Loaded with Benefits!

Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah — Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) Thanks be to the Lord, who loads us with benefits every single day. He does not miss a day! Forget not all His benefits. He forgives all your iniquities, and heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. The Lord satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:1-5). Let everything that has breath praise Him!

Make His Ways Known

God be merciful and gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us and among us—Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!— That Your way may be known upon earth, Your saving power (Your deliverances and Your salvation) among all nations.  — Psalm 67:1-2 (AMP) God is merciful and full of grace. We are blessed because we woke up this morning and our heavenly showered us with new mercies and compassions. His face continually smiles on us with favor. May we make His ways known upon the earth by letting His light and love brightly shine through us.

Crowned with Goodness

You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.  — Psalm 65:11 (NKJV) This year is crowned with the goodness of the LORD. He has not brought you this far, to leave you now. People may ride over your head; you may go through fire and water, but God brings us to a place of abundance (Psalm 66:12). Abundant peace, grace, joy, etc. Our heavenly Father amply supplies all of our needs, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Cling to Him

On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your right hand upholds me. — Psalm 63:6-8 (NIV) May we cling to Abba Father for dear life. When we closely follow Him, nothing comes in between us and our heavenly Father. Don't let anything distract you and lead you away from the LORD and His unfailing love. With a grateful heart, meditate upon His goodness. He faithfully holds you up with His right hand.

Find Rest

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. — Psalm 62:5-6 (NIV) Put your hope in the LORD, now and forevermore, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption (Psalm 130:7; 131:3). Find rest for your soul, in God alone. Those who hope in the living God will not be disappointed (Isaiah 49:23). Rest securely, in the arms of our heavenly Father, knowing that your hope will not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). Be strong and take heart. The LORD will renew your strength.

Our Rock!

Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. — Psalm 61:1-2 (NKJV) When you are overwhelmed, look to the Rock that is above all. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms us with strength and keeps our way secure (Psalm 18:31-32). There is no other. He is our Rock of refuge, and our Redeemer. As long as He is our Rock and our salvation, we will never be shaken. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal (Isaiah 26:4).

A Place of Safety

But I will sing about your strength. In the morning I will joyfully sing about your mercy. You have been my stronghold and a place of safety in times of trouble.  — Psalm 59:16 (GW) Joyfully sing about God's mercy. He gave you the strength to get out of bed this morning. He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His great mercy. At God’s throne of grace we receive mercy. He is our refuge, a safe place in times of trouble.

Help from Heaven!

I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me. Interlude My God will send forth his unfailing love and faithfulness. — Psalm 57:2-3 (NLT) God sends help from heaven to rescue us. He disgraces those who harass His children. We are God's property! Our heavenly Father generously covers us with unfailing love, and faithfully fulfills His glorious purpose in our lives.

God is on Your Side!

Then my enemies will retreat when I call to you. This I know: God is on my side. I praise the word of God. I praise the word of the LORD.   I trust God. I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me? — Psalm 56:9-11 (GW) Call on the LORD, in the morning, at noon and in the midnight hours. No matter what you are going through, know that God is on your side. He has commanded victories for you. No time to fear. Keep trusting in God and standing on His Word.

Cast Your Burden

Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.  — Psalm 55:22 (NKJV) When we cast our burdens, we are to release the weight of them, from our shoulders. Once we have given them to God, we can walk entirely free of those concerns, knowing that the LORD takes care of us. As long as we stand with the LORD, we will not be shaken. He delivers us out of all trouble (Psalm 54:7).

Flourish in the House of God

But I am like an olive tree  flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever. — Psalm 52:8 (NIV) In order to flourish in the house of God, we have to abide in Him long enough to take root. Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:6-7). Jesus said, “If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) May you flourish in the house of God and bear much fruit for His kingdom.

Limitless Power!

The LORD asked Moses, “Is there a limit to the LORD’s power? Now you will see whether or not my words come true.”  — Numbers 11:23 (GW) God laid the foundations of the earth and marked off it's dimensions. He provides food for the cattle and feeds the young ravens (Psalm 147:9). Do not doubt God's ability to take care of you. He is well able to handle your situation. By His power, God raised Jesus from the dead (1 Corinthians 6:14). Nothing is too hard for Him. He is amazing God!

He Watches Over You

The LORD will bless you and watch over you. The LORD will smile on you and be kind to you. The LORD will look on you with favor and give you peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (GW) God does not show favoritism (Romans 2:11). He wants ALL people to be saved. And for all of His children to have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10), the kind of rich and satisfying life Jesus came to give us. The LORD watches over you wherever you go, for your good, not to harm you. He is working for you, not against you. May you experience the fullness of His favor and peace in your life, as you abide in JESUS!

Call Upon Him!

“Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble;  I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”  — Psalm 50:14-15 (NKJV) Let your offering to God be a thankful heart and a willing spirit. Keep the promises you have uttered to God, to make Him the Lord of your life by being a good witness for His kingdom. Abba Father beckons you, to call upon Him in the day of trouble. Always draw near to Him, in good times and bad. Look to the hills, from where your help comes. The arm of man is limited, but ALL things are possible with our mighty, mighty God!

Meditate on His Unfailing Love!

Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. — Psalm 48:9, 14 (NIV) May we meditate on God's unfailing love. The LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him (Psalm 32:10). And He delights in those who put their hope in His unfailing love (Psalm 147:11). Through the unfailing love of the Most High, we will not be shaken (Psalm 21:7). So great is His everlasting love, it cannot be contained. He abundantly pours it out on us, until it overflows. Let His limitless love, satisfy and comfort you. Let it spill out on everyone who comes your way today. Our heavenly Father adores you and He is with you forever! Amen.

Be Still!

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. — Psalm 46:10-11 (NIV) Be still! Still your mind. Stop meditating on every thought that races through your mind, constantly trying to figure everything out. That is emotionally draining. Trust God to give you wisdom and guide you through His Holy Spirit, who dwells within you. First Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our cares on Him. In the God's Word Translation Psalm 46:10 says, “ Let go of your concerns! Then you will know that I am God. ” It's only when we let go and let God work, that He can show us how truly amazing He really is.

An Ever-Present Help

God is our refuge and strength,  an ever-present help in times of trouble.  That is why we are not afraid  even when the earth quakes  or the mountains topple into the depths of the sea.  — Psalm 46:1-2 (GW) God is a very present help. He is always there! When disaster strikes, He is there. In sickness and in health, He is standing by your side. Even death does not separate us from our heavenly Father. Just look to Him to be all that you need Him to be in your situation.

He Commands Victories!

You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob. Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.  — Psalm 44:4-5 (NKJV) Just as the LORD commanded victories for Jacob, He commands victory for you. With our God, we are triumphant over our enemies. Through the power of His name we will push back those who attack us. We have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in us is greater than the spirit who lives in the world (1 John 4:4, NLT). Glory Hallelujah!

Devote Yourself to be Close

“‘... for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?’” declares the LORD. “‘So you will be my people, and I will be your God.’” — Jeremiah 30:21-22 (NIV) When we focus on our sin, our failures and where we miss the mark, those things become bigger in our lives. Let us focus on our great God. Draw near to Him, and build an intimate relationship with Him. The more time we spend with the LORD, the more we become like Him and the things that are not in alignment with His nature will naturally fall out of our lives. Our only desire will be for more of God and not the things that keep us at a distance from Him.

The God of Our Strength

Vindicate me, O God,
 and plead my cause against an ungodly nation;
Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man! For You are the God of my strength;
Why do You cast me off?
Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?  — Psalm 43:1-2 (NKJV) The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people (Psalm 68:35). We  must rely on the STRENGTH of our Lord. Our flesh may fail, but God is the strength of our hearts (Psalm 73:26). If you think God has tossed you aside or walked out on you, that is a lie from the enemy. “With us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles” (2 Chronicles 32:8). Go in the strength of the LORD, our mighty God. His strength empowers us to overcome difficulties and live victorious lives.

Why So Disturbed?

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. — Psalm 42:11 (NIV) If you are downcast, disturbed or discouraged, look up. Put your hope in God! Nothing is too difficult for our great and mighty God. He is the God of peace and He is with you. The Creator of the universe loves you with an everlasting love and He has thoughts of you this morning, to lay before you brand new mercies. Praise the LORD! His compassion never fails.

Thirst for the Living God!

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?  — Psalm 42:1-2 (NKJV) May the longing of your soul be for the Presence of the LORD. Nothing else in this world will quite satisfy the thirsty soul. Be refreshed in the spring of Living Water! In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). So come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There you will receive His mercy, and find grace to help you when you need it most (Hebrews 4:16).

The LORD be Magnified!

Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as love Your salvation say continually, “The LORD be magnified!”  — Psalm 40:16 (NKJV) Rejoice and be glad in the LORD. Delight to do His will. In His Presence are pleasures forevermore. Remember to tell every challenge that stands before you, how BIG your GOD is. Nothing is too difficult for Him. May God be magnified in your life as you trust and rely on Him.

On Solid Ground

I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.  — Psalm 40:1-2 (NLT) If you are crying out to God, know that He hears you. Wait patiently and expectantly for the LORD. He is faithful to lift you up, out of the pit of despair. Keep your hope in Him alive. Our heavenly Father will put you on solid ground and make your steps secure.

Strength in Times of Trouble

But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him. — Psalm 37:39-40 (NKJV) In times of trouble, the Lord stands by our side and strengthens us. After you have suffered a while, the God of all grace, will perfect, establish, STRENGTHEN, and settle you (1 Peter 5:10). TRUST in the Living God to help you gain the victory in every situation. The psalmist says, “My heart trusted in Him, and I received help” (Psalm 28:7).

Keep His Way

Wait on the LORD,
 and keep His way,
and He shall exalt you to inherit the land;
When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.  — Psalm 37:34 (NKJV) Wait with hope for the LORD. His way is the only way to experience true success, everlasting peace, abiding joy and a rich, satisfying life. May we move onward when the Spirit of the LORD says, “move” and be still when He says, “stay.” Let us not get distracted and stray away from the way of the LORD. Amen!

Feed on His Faithfulness!

Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (NKJV) Instead of feeding on your fears and worries, feed on the faithfulness of our God. His faithfulness endures to all generations (Psalm 119:90). Chew on the Word that says, He will never leave you or forsake you. Even when we are not faithful to Him, He still remains faithful. When we call upon Him, He always answers. Great is His faithfulness!

He Loves Us and Freed Us!

...and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, — Revelation 1:5 (NIV) Today as we celebrate our Nation’s independence and remember those who have sacrificed, shed their blood and given their lives for our freedom as a country, let us celebrate Jesus, the most important freedom-fighter of all. He was the ultimate sacrifice. By His precious blood He set us free from sin and death and gave us the wonderful gift of eternal life. He proclaimed good news to the poor and freedom for those in bondage. Praise the Lord! Have a Happy Independence Day!

Peace in His Presence

The LORD answered, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you peace.” — Exodus 33:14 (GW) Dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of your life and experience His deep abiding peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guards your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Draw near to the LORD daily, and enjoy the abundant peace and security found only in His Presence!

How Precious is His Lovingkindness!

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. — Psalm 36:7-8 (NKJV) God crowns us with His precious lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 102:4). Praise the LORD for His lovingkindness which He pours upon us in abundance, each and every day. It is better than life! (Psalm 63:3) He loves us with an everlasting love that never fails. While others may run out on you, His love remains, unshakeable and unchanging.

Have a Humble Heart

The LORD is near to those whose hearts are humble. He saves those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person has many troubles, but the LORD rescues him from all of them . — Psalm 34:18-19 (GW) Humble yourselves before the LORD and be responsive when you hear His voice. In due time, God will lift up those who humble themselves under His mighty hand (1 Peter 5:6). James 4:6 says, He shows favor to the humble. Many may be the troubles of the righteous person, but the LORD will deliver him from all of them. Amen!
