Our Rock!

Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
 when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. —Psalm 61:1-2 (NKJV)

When you are overwhelmed, look to the Rock that is above all. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms us with strength and keeps our way secure (Psalm 18:31-32). There is no other. He is our Rock of refuge, and our Redeemer. As long as He is our Rock and our salvation, we will never be shaken. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal (Isaiah 26:4).
