Total Access

Image
And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split. — Matthew 27:50-51 (NASB1995) When Jesus gave His life and the veil of the temple was torn in two, we were given total access to commune with the Creator of Heaven and earth. That’s better than any back stage pass or first class accommodation. Abundant riches are available to us in Christ. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus and draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (See Hebrews 4:16, 12:2) Jesus is our constant Companion. Open your heart and mind to Him today and enjoy sweet fellowship with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the friend who

Stick with God

Image
The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart.
Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go. — Psalm 16:7-8 (MSG) Stick with God, each moment of the day. We have no good besides the LORD. (See Psalm 16:2 NASB1995) He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (See Psalm 46:1 NKJV) I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope. (Psalm 16:8-9 NKJV) Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. (Psalm 23:4 NLT) As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. — Psalm 125:2 (NASB1995)

Cry Out

Image
As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging. And he called out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” — Luke 18:35, 38-39 (NASB1995) Jesus stopped and commanded that the man be brought to Him. Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus. When he came near, Jesus asked him: “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God. (See Mark 10:50, Luke 18:40-43) When others want us to be silent, believers must continue to cry out all the more. Do not be quiet. Come near and call upon Yeshua. Let us have an open heart to receive all He wants to give. And may we have the

No Need to Worry

Image
And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.” — Luke 12:22-23 (NASB1995) But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. (Matthew 6:33 AMP) Instead of worrying about food and the latest fashion, let us concern ourselves with the inner condition of our hearts and the state of our minds. In Luke 12:32, Jesus said, our Father has chosen gladly to give us the kingdom. What I’m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving. (Luke 12:29 MSG)  Seek first the Kingdom of God. And put more energy into developing a deeper relationship with YAHWEH and becoming more like Him, each and every day. He i

Don't Lose Heart

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NKJV)  Let us look away from all that will distract us and focus our eyes on Jesus. (See Hebrews 12:2 AMP) No matter what you are going through, be encouraged. Christ has already gained the victory for us.

No Excuses

Image
Jesus replied with this story: “A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. When the banquet was ready, he sent his servant to tell the guests, ‘Come, the banquet is ready.’ But they all began making excuses…” — Luke 15:16-18 (NLT) “The servant returned and told his master what they had said. His master was furious and said, ‘Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’ (Luke 14:21) In Luke 14:23 (NASB1995), the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled. Where ever you are today, Jesus calls you to “ Come .”  You are invited. In Revelation 3:20 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” He is knocking on the door of your heart. Come to Him daily and take time to fellowship with Him. Let

We Overcome

Image
“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” — Revelation 17:14 (NASB1995) You are called and chosen. Be a faithful follower of Jesus. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37) We overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, and by not loving our life even when faced with death. (See Revelation 12:11) In Revelation 3:5 (NKJV), Jesus said: “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. (Luke 13:24 NASB1995) Those who enter will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God. (See Luke 13:29 NASB1995) Am

Keep His Word

Image
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” — Revelation 3:8 (NKJV)  Keep the Word of God and never deny His name. For He has magnified His word above all His name. (See Psalm 138:2 NKJV) The word of the LORD is tested, it is perfect, it is faultless. (See Psalm 18:30 AMP) Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. (Proverbs 30:5 NLT) In Isaiah 55:11 (AMP) the LORD says: “So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Let us meditate on His Word daily, and have ears to hear His Word. (See Psalm 119:148 & Romans 10:17 NASB1995) Let it be in our mouths and in our hearts. (See Romans 10:8) May His word be the joy and rejoicing of our hearts. (See Jeremiah 15:16 NKJV) My eye

A Sacred Offering

Image
Brothers and sisters, in light of all I have shared with you about God’s mercies, I urge you to offer your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice to God, a sacred offering that brings Him pleasure; this is your reasonable, essential worship. — Romans 12:1 (VOICE) May we humbly approach the throne of grace and offer our bodies to YAHWEH as living and holy sacrifices. Give Him your whole heart; truly set your affections on Him. Desire His Presence above all. Offer to Him your tongue, that the words you speak would reflect His character and nature (life, love and peace). Present your mind to Him, by continually renewing it with His Holy Scriptures. Give Him your eyes, so you can see things from His higher, eternal perspective and not from our limited human view. Offer your hands to Him, so you can diligently do the work He has given to you. Offer your feet to Him, so He can lead you and guide you according to His good plan and purpose. And you will be strengthened to run the race He has s

Chosen & Called

Image
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.  — 1 Peter 2:9 (NASB) “The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.” (Matthew 4:16 NKJV) We have been chosen by God, and called out of the darkness and into His marvelous light. We are the generation God chose to be here for such a time as this. We have been called to lay aside the deeds of those dwelling in darkness and proclaim the praises of our Heavenly Father. We are to be holy, set apart from worldly ways. We are chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the ni

How Good It Is

Image
But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do. — Psalm 73:28 (NLT) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (See James 4:8) His nearness is for our good. No matter what situation may arise, keep your trust in YAHWEH and make Him your refuge. Stay close to Him, the source of your strength, peace and joy. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5 NKJV) Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. — Psalm 73:25-26 (NKJV)

Show Me

Image
Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. — Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT) We don’t have to try to figure everything out on our own. The LORD is faithful to show us the right way. His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. (See Psalms 119:105)  Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. (Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP) And don’t think you can decide on your own what is right and what is wrong. Respect the Eternal; turn and run from evil. (Proverbs 3:7 VOICE) Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with hea

"Who Do You Say I Am?"

Image
Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” — Matthew 16:15-16 (NLT) In John 4:26 (NLT), Jesus told the woman at the well, “I AM the Messiah!” She left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?” So the people came streaming from the village to see him. (See John 4:28-30) In John 4:42, they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he is indeed the Savior of the world.” John the Baptist declared Him to be “The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (See John 1:21) In John 10:11, Jesus says: “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.” Who do you say Jesus is? He wants to have a personal, intimate relationship with you. Don’t just settle for what others tell

Fear God

Image
And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.” — Revelation 14:6-7 (NASB1995) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Proverbs 9:10 NKJV) “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28 NLT) Wise men and women seek first the Kingdom of God. Wisdom is calling. May you have ears to hear. Worship the one and only, true and living God, YAHWEH. Fear God with awe-filled reverence and profound respect.  When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almight

Better Than Life

Image
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. — Psalms 63:3-4 (NASB1995) O True God, You are my God, the One whom I trust. I seek You with every fiber of my being. In this dry and weary land with no water in sight, my soul is dry and longs for You. My body aches for You, for Your presence. (Psalms 63:1 VOICE) You have been my constant helper; therefore, I sing for joy under the protection of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand reaches down and holds me up. (Psalms 63:7-8 VOICE) Trust in, rely on, and be confident in the LORD's lovingkindness and faithfulness; Let your heart rejoice and delight in His salvation. (See Psalms 13:5 AMP)

Look Up

Image
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalms 5:3 (NKJV) Don't fall for the distractions of the enemy and put your confidence in the government, a political party, a secret society or a religion. Our salvation and deliverance is about Who we know and accept. Look with great expectation, to our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1-3 NLT) Yahweh himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.” (Psalms 121:5 TPT) He will guard you and guide you along the right path.  Unto you I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eye

Press On!

Image
Five times I received from the Jews thirty-nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep. I have been on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my countrymen, dangers from the Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangers among false brethren; I have been in labor and hardship, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. — 2 Corinthians 11:24-27 (NASB1995) Despite all of the difficulties, the Apostle Paul went through, he made a decision to press on. In Philippians 3:12-13 (NASB1995), he says: Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behi

Trust God Totally

Image
We don’t want you in the dark, friends, about how hard it was when all this came down on us in Asia province. It was so bad we didn’t think we were going to make it. We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally—not a bad idea since he’s the God who raises the dead! And he did it, rescued us from certain doom. And he’ll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-10 (MSG) Attempting to be self-sufficient is birthed out of pride. It is futile to rely on human strength and understanding. In John 15:5, Jesus said apart from Him we can do nothing. When you are heavily burdened, beyond your strength, so that you despair even of life, trust YAHWEH. When you don’t see a way out, be confident that He will make a way. Place your hope in Him alone and He will deliver you

The Light of Life

Image
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12 (NIV) The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. (John 1:4 NLT) Whoever follows Jesus will never walk in darkness. The life of the godly is full of light and joy (See Proverbs 13:9 NLT). However, there are those who rebel against the light; They do not know its ways nor abide in its paths. (See Job 24:13 NKJV) May we have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. (See Ephesians 5:11 NKJV) For we were once darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. (See Ephesians 5:8 NKJV) If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.” (Luke 11:36 NLT) For you have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your pres

Cease Striving

Image
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” — Psalms 46:10 (NASB1995) Recognize and understand that Elohim is the only true and living God. He is a very present and well-proved help in times of trouble. (See Psalms 46:1) YAHWEH is all-powerful, and all-bountiful. Nothing is too difficult for Him, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He is all-knowing; nothing is hidden from Him. El Roi is the “The God Who Sees Me.” He is intimately acquainted with each one of us and knows all of our troubles. Know that our God is the eternal, everlasting God. He never changes and He is faithful to fulfill every Word He has spoken. El Shaddai, is the all-sufficient source of all blessings. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name. Cease striving and worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness. (See Psalms 29:2) “Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everythi

Continue to Follow

Image
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) Just as we received Jesus our Lord and Savior with great joy and full of faith, let us continue to walk in union with Him, to the end. May we reflect His character in the things we do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin (See Colossians 2:6 AMP) Instead of conforming to the ways of this world, build your life on Him, and let Him shape your life. As we become more deeply rooted in Jesus, the Living Word, our faith will grow stronger and stronger. And may our hearts always overflow with thankfulness to God. We do not want to be like the person who hears the Word and receives it on rocky soil.  He has no firm root so when affliction arises he immediately falls away. Don't be the one w

Never Doubt

Image
Summoning two of his disciples, John sent them to the Lord, saying, “Are You the Expected One, or do we look for someone else?” — Luke 7:19 (NASB1995) John the Baptist was the very one who declared that Jesus is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world. (See John 1:29) In Mark 4, he was preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. However, as he sat in prison, he began to wonder if Jesus was the One. Never let adverse situations cause you to doubt or question Jesus or the ability of Almighty God. Jesus is the Messiah (which is translated, the Christ). (See John 1:41) And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. — 1 John 5:20 (NASB1995)

He Goes With Us

Image
The LORD replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. — Exodus 33:14-15 (NLT) Moses understood the importance of God’s Presence. May we always be aware of His Presence and rely on Him in all circumstances. He personally goes with each one of us. What an awesome privilege and honor it is to have Elohim, the Creator of the universe with us. He is “Immanuel,” “God With Us.” For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT) … You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings [where I am always protected] I sing for joy. My soul [my life, my very self] clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. — Psalm 63:7-8 (AMP)

On His Mind

Image
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him? — Psalm 8:3-4 (NASB1995) James 4:14 says, our lives are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. However, our Heavenly Father is mindful of us. Never believe the lie of the enemy that God does not care about you or that He has forgotten about you. He formed our inward parts, and wove us together in the womb of our mothers. (See Psalm 139:13) He created us with a purpose and a good plan. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. (Psalm 139:17-18 NASB1995) May we be mindful of the God Most High and delight to do His will, treasuring His Word in our hearts.

What We Have

Image
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,” — Hebrews 13:5 (NASB1995) No matter what set of circumstances we face, may we always be content with what we have. What we have is the Presence of Almighty God. As believers, His Spirit resides in us! (See 1 Corinthians 3:16) He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. The LORD is our HELPER (See Hebrews 13:6 NASB1995). If God is for us, who can be against us? (See Romans 8:31) Nothing is too difficult for YAHWEH. And nothing can ever separate us from His unfailing love. (See Romans 8:38) What we have is an eternal God who is greater than any temporary troubles we go through. Amen and hallelujah! And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. — Romans 8:28 (NASB1995)

"Come & Follow Me"

Image
But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. — John 10:2-3 (NLT) We are a chosen people. God called us out of the darkness and into his wonderful light. (See 1 Peter 2:9 NLT) Jesus invites all people to come to Him and to follow Him. In John 1:43 (NLT), Jesus found Philip and said to him, “Come, follow me.” In Matthew 8:22 (NASB1995), Jesus said to one of his disciples, “Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead.” In Luke 9:62 (NKJV) Jesus said: “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Let us move onward and forward, no looking back. Today, Jesus beckons us to come and follow Him. As followers of Christ, may we abide in Him and adhere to His ways and teachings. Ignore the distractions and everything else that creates distance between you and our Savior and Shep

The Peace of God

Image
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) In John 14:27 (NLT), Yeshua, the Prince of Peace Himself says: “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” Let His perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (See John 14:27 AMP) To experience the true peace of God, which cannot be shaken, divorce yourself from the world and its ways and abide in Christ Jesus. Let the Word of God influence your mind more than the nightly news or your favorite personality. The LORD will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is committed and focused on Him (See Isaiah 26:3 AMP) Who or what’s on

"It is Written..."

Image
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry. And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” — Matthew 4:1-3 (NASB1995) I believe it is not a coincidence that the devil tried to entice Jesus with bread, after He became hungry. Jesus, our High Priest, was tempted in every way as we are, but He did not sin. (See Hebrews 4:15) Instead, He spoke what was written in the Word of God. He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’” (See Matthew 4:4)  When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left him until the next opportunity came. (Luke 4:13 NLT) Our enemy knows how to entice us. He has had a lot of practice. First Peter 5:8 (NKJV) tells us to be sober, be vigilant; because our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion,

Always Pray

Image
When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. — Luke 3:21 (NKJV) In Luke 18:1 (AMP), Jesus tells the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart. In Matthew 26:41, Jesus instructed the disciples to keep watching and praying that they may not enter into temptation. Many times Scripture tells us that Jesus prayed to the Father. (See Matthew 26:36, Luke 9:18, 9:28) If the Son of God took time to pray, we need to prioritize prayer even more. Psalm 18:7 (MSG) says: “my cry brings me right into his presence— a private audience!” And in Luke 3:21 we see the beautiful response of Jesus prayer was that heaven was opened.  Let us pray consistently and never give up. Psalm 34:17a (NLT) says, the LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. First Peter 3:12 (AMP) says: “For the eyes of the LORD are [looking favorably] upon the righteous (the upright)

Lack No "Good" Thing

Image
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. — Psalms 84:11 (NASB1995) Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! (2 Peter 1:3 MSG) YAHWEH is a very generous giver. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. (1 John 5:14-15 NASB1995) If you think God is holding out on you, consider that the thing you desire may not be a good thing for you at this particular time. Then, examine your motive for asking. James 4:3 (NASB1995) says: You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. May we ask God for wisdom, in all s

Magnify the LORD!

Image
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and rejoice.
