Trust God

Image
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! — Psalm 34:8 (NKJV) Trust in Yahweh with all your heart. No matter how the circumstances may appear, trust Him at ALL times. For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, what joy for those who trust in you. (Psalm 84:11-12 NLT) As for God, His way is perfect. (See 2 Samuel 22:31) Don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; (See Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG) …blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. (Jeremiah 17:7 NLT) As for me, I trust [confidently] in You and Your greatness, O LORD; I say, “You are my God. You are my refuge and my fortress; My God, in You I have put my trust.” (See Psalm 31:14, 91:2)

Stay Focused

Image
Now stay focused on Jesus, who designed and perfected our faith. He endured the cross and ignored the shame of that death because He focused on the joy that was set before Him; and now He is seated beside God on the throne, a place of honor. — Hebrews 12:2 (VOICE) Focusing on current circumstances and listening to the lies of the enemy about the situation, will cause confusion and doubt. Instead, look away from all that will distract you and focus your eyes on our King and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. (Psalm 34:5 NLT) For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.  (See 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT) Jesu

You Choose

Image
Jesus said, “I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave can’t come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through. ”  — John 8:34-36 (MSG) A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. (John 8:35 NLT) See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are… (See 1 John 3:1 NASB1995) Yahweh has set before each person life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days…” (See Deuteronomy 30:19-20) Notice that your choice also affects those around you. When we choose life, and the kingdom of God, we choose freedom, rig

“I Knew You”

Image
“ I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations. ” — Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT)

Just as the LORD knew Jeremiah before he was formed in his mother’s womb, He knew you. Oh yes, He shaped you first inside, then out; He formed you in your mother’s womb. He knows you inside and out, He knows every bone in your body; He knows exactly how you were made, bit by bit, how you were sculpted from nothing into something. (See Psalm 139:13, 15-16 MSG).  Yahweh created each one of us with a plan and a purpose. He knows the plans He has for you (See Jeremiah 29:11), and He will reveal them to you step by step. A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9 AMP) Seek His will in all that you do and follow the lead of His Holy Spirit within you. This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who t

Listen to His Voice

Image
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. — John 10:27 (NLT) In Jeremiah 44:3-4, the people provoked the anger of the LORD with all their wickedness. Again and again He sent His servants, the prophets, to plead with them ‘Don’t do these horrible things that I hate so much.’ In Jeremiah 44:16, the people responded: “We will not listen to your messages from the LORD! We will do whatever we want…” Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart, as they did.   With the plethora of news channels and social media outlets, there are so many voices, a continual stream of counselors, coaches, experts, etc. giving their opinions, facts and findings. Let us not be too concerned with what people think. The Word of God is tried and true and it stands forever. It is the truth that will set you free. (See John 8:32) If the voice doesn’t line up with the Word of God, we must reject it. May we keep our ears tuned in to listen to the voice of the LORD our God, that we may kee

An Open Door

Image
‘I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. — Revelation 3:8 (NASB1995) Doors allow access or restrict it. When the Lord opens the door, no one is able to close it and when He closes the door, no one can open it. In Acts 5:19-20, an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought the apostles out, so they could give the people the message of life. In First Corinthians 16:9 (NASB1995), the Apostle Paul said: …a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. Even though Yeshua opens the door, you may still encounter opposition. But remember, that if God called you to it, He will get you through it. The most important door that has been opened to us is the door of faith in Jesus as the Messiah and Savior. In John 10:7,9 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door; if anyon

El-Shaddai

Image
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life. — Genesis 17:1 (NLT) Before the mountains were born or before You had given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are [the eternal] God. (Psalm 90:2 AMP) Our great God is El-Shaddai, the all-sufficient One. He is all-bountiful, the source of all our blessings. El-Shaddai is the One Who is more than enough. He is the One Who takes care of us. He is all-powerful, no problem is too difficult or complicated for Him to handle. Walk habitually before Him, with integrity, knowing that you are always in His presence. Be blameless and complete in obedience to Him. (See Genesis 17:1 AMP) For it is written [in Scripture], “As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.” (Romans 14:11 AMP) “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my

God of Restoration

Image
He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. — Psalm 23:3 (NASB1995) Yahweh is a God of restoration. In addition to the restoration of our souls, He will restore us to the joy of His salvation (see Psalm 51:12), the joy we had when we first accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior. In Joel 2:25 (NKJV), He says: “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust...” After much calamity and affliction, the LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. (See Job 42:10 AMP) After you have suffered a little while, 1 Peter 5:10 (NLT) says, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. Turn back to Yahweh, rely on Him and you will be restored. The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be

Press On to Know Him

Image
Hear the word of the LORD, O people of Israel! The LORD has brought charges against you, saying: “There is no faithfulness, no kindness, no knowledge of God in your land.” — Hosea 4:1 (NLT) In Hosea 4:2-3, the LORD goes on to say: “…you kill and steal and commit adultery. There is violence everywhere— one murder after another. That is why your land is in mourning, and everyone is wasting away.” In Hosea 4:6, He says: “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me…” In Hosea 7:16, He says: “They look everywhere except to the Most High.” Sounds like current events in our world today. Oh, that we might turn to Yahweh and strive to know Him! “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your heart as Israel did when they rebelled.” (See Hebrews 3:15)  “…let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] LORD [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn, and

Every Good Thing

Image
I said to the LORD, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” — Psalm 16:2 (NLT) Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down to us from God our Father. (See James 1:17) He has clothed us with the garments of salvation and covered us with the robe of righteousness. (See Isaiah 61:10 NKJV) He has loved His people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love He has drawn us to Himself. (See Jeremiah 31:3 NLT) He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (See Psalm 103:4 NKJV) God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NLT) Be faithful to Yahweh, until death, and receive an imperishable crown, of never-ending glory and honor. (see 1 Corinthians 9:25 and 1 Peter 5:4) Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presen

Follow His Ways

Image
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, — Ephesians 1:4 (NKJV) Yahweh chose us to be in Christ. He has not called us to impurity, but to holiness [to be dedicated, and set apart by behavior that pleases Him, whether in public or in private]. (See 1 Thessalonians 4:7 AMP) Let us pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: (See Hebrews 12:14 NKJV) Let us not follow the ways of the world, but follow the ways of our Heavenly Father. His way is to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you… (See Matthew 5:44 NKJV) His way is to never take your own revenge. (See Romans 12:19) Be rich in grace and mercy. Forgive those who sin against you, and your heavenly Father will forgive you. (See Matthew 6:14)  Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not tou

Higher than I

Image
From the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help]. For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the enemy. Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah. — Psalm 61:2-4 (AMP) Know that He alone, whose name is the LORD, is the Most High over all the earth. (See Psalm 83:18 NASB1995) He called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. (See 1 Peter 2:9) This call is from a lower place to a much higher place, and from a dark place to a place full of His marvelous light and amazing love. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:9 AMP) He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. (See Psalm 18:16 NLT) In the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the

Our Strength & Shield

Image
I love you, LORD; you are my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. — Psalm 18:1-2 (NLT) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (Psalm 105:4 NASB1995)
He arms us with strength for the battle. In His strength we can crush an army; with our God we can scale any wall. (See Psalm 18:29,39 NLT) The nearness of God is for our good. Apart from Jesus we can do nothing. God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? He has given us His shield of victory. His right hand is our support. (See Psalm 30-31,18:35 NLT)  The LORD lives! Praise to my Rock! May the God of my salvation be exalted! — Psalm 18:46 (NLT)

Stay on the Path

Image
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. — Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) The LORD led the Israelites by day with a cloudy pillar, and by night with a pillar of fire, to give them light on the road which they should travel. (See Nehemiah 9:12) Today, we have His Word, which is a lamp to guide our feet and a light to our path. (See Psalm 119:105) We also have the Spirit of truth, Who will guide us into all truth; (See John 16:13). Just as He was in the wilderness with the children of Israel for forty years, Yahweh is faithful to be with you and show you the path that leads to life.  The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8 NLT) No matter how circumstances may appear, remember that our Heavenly Father knows the best way for us to go. For this is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even until death. (Psalm 48:14 AMP) Follow Him,

This is the Day

Image
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NLT) Rejoice and be glad in this day which Yahweh has made. Have no worries about tomorrow and don’t let regrets keep you stuck in the past. We can rejoice that the LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is His faithfulness. (See Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB1995) And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28 AMP)  All your days are recorded in His book. (See Psalm 139:16) So no matter what this day brings, remember that He is with you and that He has already made a way for you. He is the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King, Who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters. (See Isaiah 43:15-16) He is faithful to bring

He Hears You

Image
Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from inside the fish. He said, “I cried out to the LORD in my great trouble, and he answered me. I called to you from the land of the dead, and LORD, you heard me! — Jonah 2:1-2 (NLT) Even though Jonah ended up in the belly of a great fish because he was trying to get away from the LORD, (See Jonah 1:3), Yahweh was still faithful to listen to his cries. If you are in great trouble, cry out to the LORD. He will listen and answer. Psalm 120:1 (AMP) says: In my trouble I cried to the LORD, and He answered me. I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. When I am overwhelmed, he alone knows the way I should turn… (See Psalm 142:2-3 NLT) ...I pray to you, O LORD. I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.” (Psalm 142:5 NLT) May our greatest desire be for Yahweh, His Presence, His will and His ways.

Great is His Goodness

Image
How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. — Psalm 31:19 (NLT) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalm 34:8 NKJV) The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. (See Psalm 33:5 NKJV) Yahweh is good and the plans He has for us are for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. (Psalm 25:8 NLT) Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT) I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13 NASB1995) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the ch

More On Our Side

Image
When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha. “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” — 2 Kings 6:15-16 (NLT) When doubts and fears arise, turn to Yahweh in prayer. He is where our help comes from. In 2 Kings 6:17, Elisha prayed: “O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!” The LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. As the Aramean army advanced toward him, Elisha prayed, “O LORD, please make them blind.” So the LORD struck them with blindness as Elisha had asked. (2 Kings 6:18) If you are surrounded by the enemy, may your eyes be open so you can look at the situation with eyes of faith. As a child of the living God, you are never alone and there are more on our side. Victory belongs to the LORD.

He Still Rules

Image
The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do? But the LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth. — Psalms 11:3-4 (NLT) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, with its crumbling foundation and chaotic conditions. Instead, build your lives on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 3:11) Regardless of what they do or say, God’s foundation is strong and firmly in place, etched with this seal: “ The Lord knows the ones who belong to Him ,” and, “ Everyone who invokes the name of the Lord ought to stop doing what they know to be wrong. ” (2 Timothy 2:19 VOICE) For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the LORD will possess the land. Soon the wicked will disappear. Though you look for them, they will be gone. (Psalm 37:9-10 NLT) Turn from evil and do good, and you will live in the land forever. For the LORD loves justice, and he will neve

The Work of His Hand

Image
Yet, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (AMP) “What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’ (Isaiah 45:9 NLT) May we resist the devil and humble ourselves before Yahweh, the One who has all of our days written in His book. His plans for us are good. And there is no [human] wisdom or understanding or counsel [that can prevail] against the LORD. (See Proverbs 21:30 AMP) The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.” (Isaiah 57:15 NLT)

Be Thankful

Image
Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name.  — Psalm 100:4 (AMP)   Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. (Psalm 107:1 NKJV) Our Heavenly Father is so kind, faithful and generous. He created the heavens and the earth and all that they contain. God richly and ceaselessly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. (See 1 Timothy 6:17 AMP) Instead of complaining about what we don’t have, may we receive with an heartfelt attitude of thanksgiving, all that Yahweh has provided for us. And learn to be content with whatever we have. May we know how to live on almost nothing or with everything, and in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. (See Philippians 4:11-12 NLT)  They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor
and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.” — Revelation 7:12 (NLT)

Your Heart Matters

Image
“ For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His… ” — 2 Chronicles 16:9a (NASB1995) In Revelation 3:20 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Once you open the door and let Him in, have a humble and teachable heart, that is responsive to His touch. Let Him mold it and shape it. He who hardens his heart [and is determined to sin] will fall into disaster. (See Proverbs 28:14 AMP) Be sure to guard your heart from things and people who draw you away from Yahweh. Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) says: Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.  Have a heart that is fully committed to Him. Desire His Presence more than anything. Cherish the Word of God and be devoted to doing things His way. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Luke 12:34 N

Chosen & Called

Image
For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. — Romans 29-30 (NLT) We have been chosen by Yahweh, and called to come to Him. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; (See 1 Peter 2:9) He chose us to become like His Son, Yeshua. He has risen from death to life. Let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and walk in His light and the more abundant life Yeshua came to give us. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10 NLT) Amen.

He Embraces Us

Image
“ So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. ” — Luke 15:20 (NLT) In Luke 11-32, Jesus tells a parable about a prodigal son who journeyed to a distant land and wasted all his money in wild living. After his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve. In Luke 15:17-18, the son finally came to his senses and decided to go home to his father. His father, like our Abba Father is filled with love and compassion. If you have strayed away, return home to Abba Father. His arms are open wide to receive you. The everlasting arms of Yahweh will envelope you in a warm embrace. Let His amazing love seep into every pore of your being. You will receive more of Him, because God is love (See 1 John 4:8). His perfect love casts out all fear. (See 1 John 4:18) His marvelous light illuminates dark corners and crevices. Be filled with His

Hope in Our Helper

Image
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever. — Psalm 146:3, 5-6 (NLT) The unfailing love of the LORD, is as vast as the heavens; His faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. His righteousness is like the mighty mountains, His justice like the ocean depths. He cares for people and animals alike. How precious is God’s unfailing love! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of His wings. (See Psalm 36:5-7)

In His Presence

Image
“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Interlude — Psalm 46:10-11 (NLT) Worthy, worthy, worthy is Yahweh, to receive all glory, honor and praise. He continually lavishes His amazing love upon us, in wave after wave. What pure and unconditional love He has for us! We love, because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19) In His Presence, we experience a deep and abiding peace. It is a peace that is not moved by external circumstances: weather storms, the political climate, crime rates or pandemics, etc. In our great and mighty God, we can remain in peace, knowing that He is faithful to be with us and to bring us through it all. He is the God Most High, Elohim, the all-powerful One.  Oh, what fullness of joy comes when we are still in His Presence! It is an uncontainable joy that overflows the heart. A cheerful heart is good medicine… (Proverbs

Light into the World

Image
“I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness.” — John 12:46 (AMP) The LORD is our light and our salvation. Have no fear. (See Psalm 27:1) Rely on and have confidence in the truth of God's Word. In Luke 2:32 (NLT), Simeon said: Jesus is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!” Isaiah 42:6 says: He will be a light to guide the nations. A light shows us the way to go and also reveals things we need to avoid. We were formerly in the darkness, but now we are Light in the Lord. Therefore, let us lay aside the deeds of darkness, and continually walk in the light of the Lord. “ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. “For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appe

What Are You Looking At?

Image
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. — Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV) Don’t stay glued to the constantly negative news, or continually monitor the ever-changing world conditions. Don't focus on material possessions, the stock market, or the balance of your bank account. These things which we can see are temporary. So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable. (2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP) Fix your eyes on Yeshua, our Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace (See Isaiah 9:6) He is Immanuel (God with us). (See Isaiah 7:14) He is the Lamb who has overcome this world. He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and

Lack No Good Thing

Image
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:10 (NLT) Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. (Psalm 34:8-9) For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalm 84:11 NLT) If Yahweh is withholding something, chances are it is not a “ good ” thing for you right now. So continue to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (See Matthew 6:33 NKJV) So do not consume yourselves with questions: What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? Outsiders make themselves frantic over such questions; they don’t realize that your heavenly Father knows exactly what you need.  — Matthew 6:31-32 (NKJV)

Anchor Your Hope

Image
I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness. — John 12:46 (AMP) Anchor your hope in Yeshua, the One God has highly exalted and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (See Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV) We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone. (Psalm 33:20-22 NLT) This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. — Hebrews 6:19 (NLT)
