Fully Follow YAHWEH

Image
“Do not rebel against the LORD, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the LORD is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!” — Numbers 14:9 (NLT) Of the twelve men Moses sent to explore the land, only Caleb and Joshua entered the promised land. The LORD said, because His servant Caleb had a different spirit and followed Him fully, He would bring him into the land, and his descendants would take possession of it. (See Numbers 14:24) The other ten men who incited rebellion against the LORD with their bad report, died in the wilderness (See Numbers 14:29, 36) Instead of listening to a bad report and following the crowd, trust YAHWEH and fear Him only. May we follow Him fully, each and every day.

Never Lose Hope

Image
“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!” — Psalms 27:14 (TPT) When we have hope in YAHWEH, we have a confident expectation that He is everything we need Him to be and that He will do everything He said He would do. It is an assurance that does not cave in, under pressure nor during challenging times. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. (Hebrews 6:19-20 NLT)  … as for me, I will hope continually, a nd will praise You yet more and more.. — Psalm 71:14 (NASB1995)

Experience Life

Image
But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. — Galatians 5:22-23 (AMP) We are able to bear much fruit as we yield to the work of the Holy Spirit within us. Let us be led by the Spirit of God, so that we may bear good fruit and flourish in every season. For if your life is just about satisfying the impulses of your sinful nature, then prepare to die. But if you have invited the Spirit to destroy these selfish desires, you will experience life. If the Spirit of God is leading you, then take comfort in knowing you are His children. (Romans 8:13-15 VOICE) He must increase, but we must decrease.

Surely, He Will Help You

Image
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ — Isaiah 41:10 (NASB1995) No matter what set of circumstances you are dealing with today, remember that YAHWEH is with you. He is El Shaddai, the all-sufficient, all-bountiful, Almighty God. He delivers the righteous out of all their troubles. (See Psalm 34:17 NKJV) He will not leave you, nor forsake you. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NASB1995) Amen.

The LORD Bless You

Image
‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-27 (NLT) The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace. (Psalm 29:11 NASB1995) Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:4-5 NASB1995) Amen. For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah — Psalm 61:4-5 (NKJV)

Here on Purpose

Image
From one man he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. — Acts 17:26-27 (CSB) Yahweh formed our inward parts. He knit each one of us together in the womb of our mother. (See Psalms 139:13) God has determined our appointed times and the boundaries of our habitation. He intentionally created each one of us with a purpose and good plans. He has placed us and positioned us, on this earth and in His body (the church), for such a time as this. We each have an assignment and purpose to fulfill. It is through him that we live and function and have our identity; just as your own poets have said, ‘Our lineage comes from him.’ (Acts 17:28 TPT) Let us reach forward to what lies ahead, and press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (See

Walk Closely

Image
Finally, believers, rejoice! Be made complete [be what you should be], be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace [enjoy the spiritual well-being experienced by believers who walk closely with God]; and the God of love and peace [the source of lovingkindness] will be with you. — 2 Corinthians 13:11 (AMP) Let us walk closely with YAHWEH and have a continual conversation with Him as we go about our day. Genesis 6:9 (VOICE) says: … Noah was a good man, a right-living man, the best man of his generation; and he walked closely with God. The Amplified Bible says: Noah walked (lived) [in habitual fellowship] with God. And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. (Luke 17:26 NKJV) Don't let the events of this world carry you away from God.  By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet se

Be Still & Calm

Image
“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God. I am honored among all the nations. I am honored over all the earth.” You know the Eternal, the Commander of heavenly armies, surrounds us and protects us; the True God of Jacob is our shelter, close to His heart. [pause] — Psalm 46:10-11 (VOICE) Instead of letting your thoughts and emotions be tossed to and fro with continually changing conditions and circumstances, stay focused on YAHWEH. He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT) Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. (See Psalm 37:8 NASB1995) The man who trusts in the LORD and whose hope is in the LORD will not be anxious in the year of drought nor will cease from yielding fruit. (See Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV) Acknowledge and honor the Most High God. He is the great  “ I AM” and nothing is too difficult for Him.

Our Hiding Place

Image
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Interlude — Psalms 32:5-7 (NLT) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NASB1995) Let us abide in YAHWEH. Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. (Psalms 91:1-3 NLT)

Live by Faith

Image
“Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” — Hebrews 10:38 (NKJV) A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9 AMP) YAHWEH knows the plans He has for each one of us. We should not compare our walk with someone else’s. Each person is unique and our paths are not exactly the same. So let us continually look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and follow Him. (See Hebrews 12:2)  Press on, in spite of the challenges, and do not draw back. The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger. (Job 17:9 NLT)

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You, — Jeremiah 32:17 (NASB1995) Whatever mountains stand before you today, know that YAHWEH is on your side and nothing is too hard for Him to handle. He is higher than any hurdle, and more powerful than any storm. When you go through deep waters, He will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 NLT) …in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NKJV) …thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NASB1995)

Walk in the Light

Image
Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD. — Psalm 89:15 (NLT) Do not be partakers with  the sons of disobedience. (See Ephesians 6-7) ...for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),  (Ephesians 5:8-9 NASB1995). In John 8:12 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” In John 12:35 (AMP), He told the crowd, “The Light is among you [only] a little while longer. Walk while you have the Light [keep on living by it], so that darkness will not overtake you. He who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going [he is drifting aimlessly]. Don't be passively carried by the culture of this world. Intentionally and purposefully follow Christ. Worship the One true God and continue to live in His mar

Journey with Jesus

Image
Now that you have welcomed the Anointed One, Jesus the Lord, into your lives, continue to journey with Him and allow Him to shape your lives. Let your roots grow down deeply in Him, and let Him build you up on a firm foundation. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always spill over with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (VOICE) See that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men and the basic principles of the world rather than Messiah. (Colossians 2:8 TLV) Jesus is our Lord, when we submit to His teaching, instead of following the ways of this world or the inclinations of our flesh. Journey with the King of kings all day, every day. He knows the desired destination and the best course for us to take. Keep your trust in Him, no matter how rough the terrain gets.  Allow Him to shape your life. Our roots grow deeper in Him each time we take the path of love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and truth. Let us refl

Thirst for Him

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. — Psalms 63:1,3-4 (NASB1995) “Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky!” (Psalms 103:2-5 TPT) “I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul.” — Psalms 63:5 (TPT)

Our Help

Image
For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. — Isaiah 41:13 (NLT) Whatever you go through today, know that the great “I AM” is with you and He will help you. He is a very present help in trouble. (See Psalm 46:1) In Acts 26:22 (NKJV), the Apostle Paul who suffered many hardships and persecution, said “having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great…” Today, we stand, with God’s help and we can testify to the goodness and grace Yahweh has given to us.  Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.  ( Psalm 42:5 NASB1995) ...joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. (Psalm 146:5 NLT)

He Restores & Revives

Image
“Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.” — Psalms 23:1-3 (TPT) Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me… (See Psalm 138:7 NASB1995) Rest in the luxurious love of Yahweh, and He will restore and revive your life. For thus says Adonai Elohim, the Holy One of Israel: “By repentance and rest you are saved, in quietness and trust is your strength— but you were not willing.” (Isaiah 30:15 TLV) Release your mind from anxious thoughts and rest from frantic activity. Keep your trust in Yahweh, and you will find strength.

Cultivate Faithfulness

Image
Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. — Psalm 37:3-4 (NASB1995) Don’t follow after the wicked ones or be jealous of their wealth. Don’t think for a moment they’re better off than you. They and their short-lived success will soon shrivel up and quickly fade away, like grass clippings in the hot sun. (Psalms 37:1-2 TPT) Romans 12:2 (NLT) says, don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world. May we follow YAHWEH and His ways. His way is perfect. The culture of His Kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17)   When we consistently do what we know is the right thing to do, we are cultivating faithfulness. As we delight ourselves in the goodness of our great and awesome God, our desires will come into alignment with His good plans and purpose for our lives. “When Yahweh delights in how you live your life, he establishes your every step.”

“Peace Be With You”

Image
So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” — John 20:19 (NASB1995) Jesus gave us the gift of peace, perfect peace of mind and heart. He said: “Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” Let His perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (See John 14:27 NLT/NASB1995/AMP) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)

He Instructs

Image
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. — Psalm 32:8 (NASB1995) Yahweh has His eye on you. He has not forgotten about you and He is well aware of your situation. He will guide you along the best pathway for your life. (See Psalm 32:8 NLT) May we have ears to hear His still small voice and be teachable, and follow His wise counsel. Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him. (Psalm 32:6 NASB1995) For He knows the plans He has for you and they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope, so do not hesitate to follow His teaching.

Call on His Name

Image
The LORD descended in the cloud and stood there with him as he called upon the name of the LORD. Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; — Exodus 34:5-7a (NASB1995) Call on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God. His ear is always open to hear the cry of His people. (See Psalm 18:6 & 34:17) Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called on His name; They called upon the LORD and He answered them. (Psalm 99:6 NASB1995) His name alone is exalted. You must not misuse the name of the LORD your God… (See Exodus 20:7) Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples. Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad. (Psalm 105:1, 3 NASB1995) And in that day you will say, “Give thanks

Patient Endurance

Image
For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised. — Hebrews 10:36 (AMP) We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:3-5 NLT) Do not become spiritually dull and indifferent, lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power and by patient endurance you will inherit the promises. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever a

Drawn with Love

Image
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV) How precious is the lovingkindness of God! ...the children of men take refuge in the shadow of His wings. (See Psalm 36:7 NASB1995) Yahweh draws us to Himself with lovingkindness. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. (Ephesians 3:18-19 NLT) Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. — Psalm 63:3-4 (NASB1995)

The Turn Around

Image
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever! — Psalm 30:11-12 (NLT) To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 NKJV) No matter what challenges are before you today, know that YAHWEH will turn your situation around. Sing to the LORD, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Psalm 30:4-5 NLT) “ To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. ” — Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV)

Come Near

Image
Then He said to Moses, “Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu and seventy of the elders of Israel, and you shall worship at a distance. Moses alone, however, shall come near to the LORD, but they shall not come near, nor shall the people come up with him.” — Exodus 24:1-2 (NASB1995) The Israelites had to worship God at a distance. Only Moses was allowed approach the LORD. Today, we have the extreme privilege and honor to have a close, intimate relationship with YAHWEH. Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]. (James 4:8 AMP)

Seek the LORD

Image
Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. — Psalm 105:4 (NASB1995) Instead of seeking riches, material goods, or any other comforts of this world, seek the LORD, and His will. You will seek Him and find Him, when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:13) The enemy sends all kinds of distractions our way, but let us seek Yahweh each moment of the day. He is with us and He will give us exactly what we need, the strength, the wisdom, the guidance, etc. Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. — Colossians 3:1 (NASB1995)

Let Us Worship

Image
Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. — Psalm 95:6 (NASB1995) For Yahweh is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation! (Psalms 100:5 TPT) Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalm 100:3-4 NKJV) for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ (Acts 17:28 NASB1995)

He Provides

Image
When they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore it was named Marah. So the people grumbled at Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” Then he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet. — Exodus 15:23-25a (NASB1995) Yahweh always provides for His people. In Exodus 14:21-30, the LORD saved Israel from the hand of their enemies by letting them walk through the midst of the sea, on dry land. However, He overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea; not even one of them remained. He rained down manna upon them to eat and gave them food from heaven, for forty years. (See Exodus 16:35 & Psalm 78:24) The LORD commanded the ravens to bring the prophet, Elijah, food. So Elijah did as the LORD told him and camped beside Kerith Brook. The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. (See 1 Kings 17:2-6) His provision may not c

Rejoice

Image
The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. This is the LORD’s doing, and it is wonderful to see. This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:22-24 (NLT) God saw you before you were born. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (See Psalm 139:16 NLT) Therefore, whatever challenges you face today, know that Yahweh has already worked them out. Trust in His lovingkindness. Let your heart rejoice in His salvation. (See Psalm 13:5 NASB1995) He is faithful. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. (See Psalm 34:19 NLT) ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)

Our Strength & Shield

Image
The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. — Psalm 28:7 (AMP) The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalm 29:11 NLT) He arms us with strength for the battle… (See Psalm 18:39 NLT) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (Psalm 105:4 NASB1995) The LORD is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice,
and He preserves the way of His godly ones.(See Proverbs 2:7-8 NASB1995) God is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. (See Proverbs 30:5 NASB1995) “ You will be the inner strength of all your people, YAHWEH, the mighty protector of all, and the saving strength for all your anointed ones. ” — Psalms 28:8 (TPT)
