Coming with the Clouds

Image
“I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion, glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and men of every language might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.” — Daniel 7:13-14 (NASB1995) The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9 NLT) The Kingdom of God is available for all peoples and nations. Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things

Beyond Measure

Image
It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP) The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. (See 2 Thessalonians 3:3) When everyone else fails you, YAHWEH will stand with you and give you strength. Glory hallelujah! “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. (Lamentations 3:24-26 NKJV) I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13 AMP) The faithful love of YAHWEH never ends and it will not fail you. In the midst of adverse circumstances, wait on the LORD. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on YAHWEH!

Seek Him

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. — Psalm 63:1 (NASB1995) Something to remember as we journey through the dry, dark valleys: the more you look at a problem the bigger it becomes. As we fix our eyes on Yeshua, the mountains before us become molehills. And He lifts us up to see things from His perspective, a higher and eternal point of view. In the darkest of valleys, He is the light. So, instead of searching for a solution, seek Him and He will show you the way through. Praise YAHWEH as long as you live, and lift up your hands to Him in prayer. He will satisfy you more than the richest feast. Praise Him with songs of joy. Because the God Most High is your helper, sing for joy in the shadow of His wings. Cling to Him. His strong right hand holds you securely. (See Psalm 63:4-5,7-8)

Fulfill His Purpose

Image
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] — Philippians 4:13 (AMP) YAHWEH empowers us to do what He has called each one of us to do. We don’t receive strength to attempt to run someone else’s race. We have to stay in our OWN lane, and be about fulfilling the purpose for which we were created. When you grow weary, listen to what the LORD told Gideon: “Go with the strength you have…” (See Judges 6:14 NLT) As you do this, know that YAHWEH is faithful to provide all you need. The Anointed One is our power and strength. (See Philippians 4:13 VOICE) Amen.  Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the LORD’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out). — Proverbs 19:21 (AMP)

Consider it All Joy

Image
Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. — James 1:2-4 (AMP) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; (John 10:10a NASB) The enemy will do anything to steal your joy. Don’t let him take what your Heavenly Father has given to you. As believers, we dwell in the Kingdom of God, and His Kingdom is about righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) So, fight the good fight of faith, and endure to the end. Remember: Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) And Yeshua has already gained the victory for us.

Trust YAHWEH

Image
You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. — Psalm 139:16 (NLT) Knowing that YAHWEH has our whole journey written in His book, have you ever wanted to peak ahead and see what’s coming? Hardships and difficulties may give us the desire to skip some chapters all together. However, Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) says: Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. His thoughts are nothing like our thoughts. And His ways are far beyond anything we can imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so His ways are higher than our ways and His  thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT) Let us be humble and submit to the work of the Holy Spirit within us and He will show us the path that leads to an eternal and abundant life. And we know that God causes everything to work togethe

Never Forget

Image
O my soul, come, praise the Eternal with all that is in me—body, emotions, mind, and will—every part of who I am— praise His holy name. O my soul, come, praise the Eternal; sing a song from a grateful heart; sing and never forget all the good He has done. — Psalm 103:1-2 (VOICE) Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? (Psalm 103:2 TPT) He forgives all your sins, and heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the pit, and crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy. He satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle. (See Psalm 103:3-5 AMP) He opens His hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. (See Psalm 145:16) If your heart is not satisfied in His Presence maybe it needs to be reset. YAHWEH is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those

Draw Near

Image
Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. — Hebrews 4:16 (NASB1995) The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all. (Psalm 103:19 NKJV) Since we have a great High Priest, Jesus, the Son of God who has passed through the heavens from death into new life with God, let us hold tightly to our faith. For Jesus is not some high priest who has no sympathy for our weaknesses and flaws. He has already been tested in every way that we are tested; but He emerged victorious, without failing God. (Hebrews 4:14-15 VOICE) May we draw near to YAHWEH with humble hearts. Let us approach His throne of grace, with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy for our failures and find His amazing grace to help us in time of need, an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment. (See Hebrews 4:16 AMP) Hold tightly to your faith and emerge victorious in Yahusha H

Christ at the Center

Image
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. — Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) God raised us up with Christ and seated us in the heavenly realms with our beloved Jesus the Anointed, the Liberating King. (See Ephesians 2:6 VOICE) In Him, we are above every earthly circumstance. Keep Yeshua in the center of your thoughts, your life and your heart, first place in everything. Let anything else play a lesser, minor role in your life. He is also the head [the life-source and leader] of the body, the church. (See Colossians 1:18 AMP) He is the source of our peace, joy, and hope. And in Him, we overcome and have the victory.

He's Faithful

Image
“Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;” — Deuteronomy 7:9 (NKJV) God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9 NKJV) Great is His faithfulness! (See Lamentations 3:23) And His faithfulness endures to all generations. (See Psalm 119:90 NKJV) May we declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night. (See Psalm 92:2 NKJV) Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. (Psalm 31:23 NKJV) Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; (Hebrews 10:23 AMP) When we call upon YAHWEH, we can count on Him to answer. Whatever hardships come before us, He is faithful to deliver us out of all our troubles. I

What's on Your Mind?

Image
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. — Psalm 8:3-4 (NLT) O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O LORD, You know it all. (Psalm 139:1-4 NASB1995) How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! (Psalm 149:17-18 NLT) YAHWEH knows us. Nothing we do or say is a surprise to Him. The Word says, He is intimately acquainted with all our ways. What thoughts fill your mind? May we fill our minds wit

Open Up

Image
Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty; the LORD, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The LORD of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory. Interlude — Psalm 24:7-10 (NLT) O nations of the world, recognize the LORD; recognize that the LORD is glorious and strong. (Psalm 96:7 NLT) YAHWEH is greater than the forces of evil that confront you day after day. For His is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (See Matthew 6:13 AMP) And we have been called into His kingdom and glory. (See 1 Thessalonians 2:12 NASB1995) Remove any barriers and open up the door of your heart. Receive Him today. He will light up any darkness. Open up your mind to believe His Word. Open your ears to hear His still small voice. Open your eyes to see situations through the lens of faith and trust in the King of Gl

This is The Day

Image
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NLT) This is the day YAHWEH has made, and it is good. In Genesis 1:31, God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. In Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT), the LORD says, the plans He has for His people are for good and not for disaster. Knowing that all YAHWEH has made is good, we can rejoice and be glad in today. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength! (See Nehemiah 8:10 NLT) What enables us to keep our joy? By remembering all the good things the LORD has done for us, (see Psalm 103:2-5). By continually casting all of our cares and concerns on Him, (see 1 Peter 5:7). By trusting in YAHWEH and His goodness, and not relying on our own understanding. We can also keep our joy as we take note that joy does not depend on external conditions, but it comes from within, where the Presence of the LORD dwells. And in His Presence there is fullness of joy. (See Psalm 16:11 NASB) Re

Watch Your Words

Image
And the tongue is a fire, the very world of unrighteousness; the tongue is set among our body’s parts as that which defiles the whole body and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. — James 3:6 (NASB) James 3:8 (NASB) says, the tongue is full of deadly poison. However, both death and life are in the power of the tongue (See Proverbs 18:21 NASB), so we need to choose our words carefully. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! (James 3:9-10 NLT) Let us speak life over our lives, and the lives of others. Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. (Proverbs 16:24 NLT) Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! (Proverbs 15:23 NLT)

Find New Strength

Image
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. — Isaiah 40:29-31 (NLT) When King David was down and out, he found strength in the LORD his God. (See 1 Samuel 30:6) We find new strength as we trust in YAHWEH, not in our own human abilities. Let us do what the LORD told Gideon in Judges 6:14, go with the strength we have. Then trust Him to fill in for what is lacking. The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. (2 Chronicles 16:9a NLT) Search for the LORD and for his strength; continually seek him. (1 Chronicles 16:11) And rely on the power of His strength, in every situation and circumstance. He arms us with strength for the battle. (See 2 Samuel 22:40 NLT) He renews ou

God is Love & Light

Image
...anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. — 1 John 4:8 (NLT) Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7 NKJV) And if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him. (See 1 Corinthians 8:3 NKJV) …whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. (1 John 2:5 NKJV) For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5:3 NKJV) This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. — 1 John 1:5 (NLT) …God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. (See John 3:19 NLT) For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT) …

GOD of Restoration

Image
You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again. — Psalm 71:20-21 (NLT) Job lost all his children, his possessions, and experienced pain and suffering in his physical body, yet he continued to worship YAHWEH. In all of this he did not sin by blaming God. (See Job 1:22)  In Job 42:10, the LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. (AMP)  In Joel 2:25 (NKJV) the LORD says: “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust... He gives His people beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. (See Isaiah 61:3 NKJV) Psalm 23:3 (NASB1995) says, He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. L

Choose Life

Image
Before every person lies a road that seems to be right, but the end of that road is death and destruction. — Proverbs 14:12 (VOICE) Set before each person is life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants. (See Deuteronomy 30:19) To choose life is to enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. (See Matthew 7:13-14 NASB1995) In each and every situation, consistently choose to take the higher road, that leads to a more intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father. Turn away from any idols and false gods, and choose to serve YAHWEH, the Living God in sincerity and truth. You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction. — Proverbs

“Be Still”

Image
“ Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth. ” — Psalm 46:10 (AMP) “Be calm in every circumstance and situation, and understand that He is the great “I AM.” The only true and living God. Nothing is too difficult for the God Most High. Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD! (Psalm 106:48 NLT)  Stop striving for the things of this world and consider the wondrous works of Elohim. So also, golden splendor comes from the mountain of God. He is clothed in dazzling splendor. We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us. No wonder people everywhere fear him. All who are wise show him reverence.” (Job 37:22-24 NLT) It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. (Lamentations 3:22 AMP) “ Surrend

The Good Work

Image
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. — Philippians 1:6 (NLT) The Word says that God began “ the ” good work in you. It’s not just any good work. It is the specific work that YAHWEH determined to do in you from the very beginning. Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) says: For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Thank YAHWEH that it’s His plans and purpose for us that will prevail, and not the enemy’s. I like that Philippians 1:6 says, God will continue His work. The work is His. As long as we live, He is at work in us. Stay submitted to His will and the good work, He is doing in you and He is faithful to complete it. He never gives up on us. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. (Philippians 2:13 NLT) The good work is within us. So that doesn't mean

Keep Believing

Image
“ And now my soul is poured out because of my plight; The days of affliction take hold of me. My bones are pierced in me at night, and my gnawing pains take no rest. But when I looked for good, evil came to me; and when I waited for light, then came darkness. My heart is in turmoil and cannot rest; Days of affliction confront me. ” — Job 30:16-17, 26-27 (NKJV) No matter how bad your circumstances become, wait expectantly for the YAHWEH; He is our help and our shield. (See Psalm 33:20) Psalm 34:17 (NKJV) says: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 27:13 (NKJV) says:  I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Keep believing in the goodness and deliverance of YAHWEH. You know we call those blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] who were steadfast and endured [difficult circumstances]. You have heard of the patient endurance of Job and you have

Kept in Perfect Peace

Image
You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you. Trust in the LORD forever, because in the LORD, the LORD himself, is an everlasting rock! — Isaiah 26:3-4 (CSB) When we trust in YAHWEH and really depend on Him, we can have true peace. We can experience His perfect peace because we know that He is a good and faithful Father, Who never abandons His children and always provides what we need. Trust and take refuge in YAHWEH, with hope and confident expectation. He will keep you in perfect and constant peace as your mind is focused on Him and your heart is committed to Him and taking on His character. (See Isaiah 26:3 AMP) No matter what circumstances come, trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. (See Isaiah 26:4 NKJV) No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. Even in heavy win

Be A Good Student

Image
Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; for I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; for to You I lift up my soul. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. — Psalm 143:8, 10 (NASB1995) The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. (Psalm 25:8-9 NLT) For those who listen to what YAHWEH says, He will guide you along the best pathway for your life. He will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8) Good students are humble and teachable. After we have been taught we are to walk in truth and honor and fear (with reverence) His name. (See Psalm 86:11)  The disciple is to become like his Teacher. As YAHWEH is love, full of grace and mercy, generous and compassionate, so are those who learn from Him. Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father];

Be Guided by Him

Image
For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes]. — 1 Corinthians 2:16 (AMP) We have been given the mind of Christ. Therefore, we can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (See 2 Corinthians 10:5 TPT) So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. (Romans 8:6-7 NLT) Let your mind be led by the Spirit of God and experience life and peace.

Walk in Truth & Freedom

Image
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31-32 (NLT) As believers, we have been given a Helper, the Spirit of truth, that He may abide with us forever. (See John 14:16-17) In John 16:13 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “the Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth…” Let us eagerly seek to know the truth (the Word of God) and stand on it. When we know the truth, we will not fall for the lies of the enemy. Nor will we conform or compromise with the ways of this world. Let us habitually walk with, and be led by the Holy Spirit. Seek Him and be responsive to His guidance, and then we will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature (See Galatians 5:16 AMP/NASB) Let us continually bear the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (See Galatians 5:22-23) If we [claim to]

Preserved by His Care

Image
You guided my conception and formed me in the womb. You clothed me with skin and flesh, and you knit my bones and sinews together. You gave me life and showed me your unfailing love. My life was preserved by your care. — Job 10:10-12 (NLT) We are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: (See Jude 1:1 NKJV) For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; (See Psalm 37:28a NKJV) O love the LORD, all you His godly ones! The LORD preserves the faithful [those with moral and spiritual integrity] and fully repays the [self-righteousness of the] arrogant. (Psalm 31:23 AMP) For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being. (Job 12:10 NLT) The LORD watches over all who love Him… (See Psalm 145:20 NASB) He is our hiding place; He shall preserve us from trouble; He shall surround us with songs of deliverance. Selah (See Psalm 32:7 NKJV) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all

Stay Alert!

Image
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. The LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Satan answered the LORD and said, “From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.” — Job 1:6-7 NASB) Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NLT) In Matthew 26:41 (NASB), Yeshua says: “Keep watching and praying, so that you do not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” We need to remain diligent and recognize the sign of the times. Our enemy is always looking to steal and kill and destroy. (See John 10:10a) In order to combat his lies, we need to know the truth and continually renew our minds with the Word of God. …put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. (Ephesians 6:13 NLT) Pu

He's Our Burden Bearer

Image
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah — Psalm 68:19 (NASB) Are you worried and troubled about so many things? …Yeshua said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) The burdens we face are too heavy for us to carry. That is why the Lord tells us to cast all our cares on Him. He cares for us. “In fact, God wants to help you out of your troubles. He wants to take away your burdens that are crushing you. He wants to load your table with plenty of food.” (Job 36:16 ERV) He will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5) In Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG), Yeshua says: “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company

Do Good

Image
Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. — Psalm 37:3, 5-6 (NKJV) Proverbs 3:27 (NASB) says: Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Seize every opportunity to do good, as the Holy Spirit leads you. We are to be loving, generous, kind and compassionate to others (regardless of color, race, religious preference, etc), not as a way of earning points with YAHWEH or to have something to brag about, but to partner with Him and be His representative (ambassador) on earth. In this way we let our light shine in this dark world and bring glory to the kingdom of YAHWEH. Turn from evil and do good, so that you will dwell forever. For the LORD loves justice and does not abandon His godly ones; they are protected forever, but the descendants of the wi

Have Faith to Follow

Image
Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. — Matthew 14:28-29 (NASB1995) Peter got out of the boat when Jesus commanded him to come. As we listen for and follow the commands of our Lord and Savior, we will have our own walking on water experiences. However, we have to be willing to get out of the boat, our comfort zone and all that is familiar. No excuses. If He calls us to go out into the deep, may we carry out His instruction. When Peter saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.
