He's a Covenant Keeper

Image
Then Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in front of the entire community of Israel. He lifted his hands toward heaven, and he prayed, “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven above or on the earth below. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion. — 1 Kings 8:23 (NLT) People may disappoint you by not keeping their promise to you, but our God is a Covenant-Keeper. God shows personal favoritism to no man (See Galatians 2:6 NKJV)  He watches over His Word to perform it. And Jesus is the Mediator of the new covenant. Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (See Hebrews 12:24,7:22,8:6) Our heavenly Father is committed to His people. Let us walk with Him, in wholehearted devotion.

Come Before His Presence

Image
“O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods,” — Psalms 95:1-3 (NASB1995) Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. (Psalms 95:6) …the LORD will not abandon His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance. (Psalms 94:14) O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy. For the LORD Most High is to be feared, a great King over all the earth. (Psalms 47:1-2 NASB1995) “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!” — Revelation 15:3 (NASB1995)

Our Burden-Bearer

Image
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah. — Psalm 68:19 (NASB1995) Are you feeling anxious or stressed out? Are you weary and worn out? Give your cares to Yahweh because He cares for you. Bless the LORD O my soul! Day after day He carries our heavy loads, when we give them to Him. Jesus says: “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 HCSB) Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalm 55:22 NASB1995) May we continually give our cares to the LORD, each and every day. He is faithful to deliver us out of all our troubles. (See Psalm 34:17)

The Good Work

Image
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. — Philippians 1:6 (NLT) God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in each one of us. Let us submit to the Holy Spirit Who is at work in us. Patiently endure afflictions and hardships. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, (2 Corinthians 4:17). Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. (Jude 24-25 NLT)

Perfect Peace

Image
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! — Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) If your mind is being bombarded with anxiety producing thoughts, fix your thoughts on Yahweh. Dedicate your heart and mind to Him. Remember all the good things He has done, and is doing. The Amplified Bible says, He will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on Him. Trust the God Most High always, and take refuge in Him, with hope and confident expectation. For the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages], strong, stable, and trustworthy. (See Isaiah 26:4 AMP/VOICE) Even if the mountains heave up from their anchors, and the hills quiver and shake, I will not desert you. You can rely on My enduring love; My covenant of peace will stand forever. So says the Eternal One, whose love won’t give up on you. — Isaiah 54:10 (VOICE)

Have Hope

Image
But this I call to mind, therefore I have hope. It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:21-23 (NASB1995) Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence. (Psalm 42:5) In the midst of dismal circumstances, have hope in Yahweh. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100:5) How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Who keeps faith forever; (Psalms 146:5-6 NASB1995)

Our Dwelling Place

Image
Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. — Psalm 90:1-2 (NKJV) No matter what generation you belong to, Yahweh invites you to come and abide in Him. It's a continual and open invitation. Let us make the LORD our refuge, even the Most High our dwelling place, each and every day. (See Psalm 91:9) Don't come to Him as a visitor on Sunday mornings and then go on your way. Stay and fellowship with Him throughout the week. Psalm 91:1 (AMP) says: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. And Jesus says: “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” (John 6:37 NKJV) May we walk so closely with Him, that we remain in His shadow, all of our days. Amen.

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
“Look, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?” — Jeremiah 32:27 (HCSB) With God all things are possible.Nothing is too difficult for our great God. He established the world by His wisdom, and by His understanding He stretched out the heavens. (See Jeremiah 51:15 NASB1995) The Maker of all is He. Do not be anxious nor afraid, only believe. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 NASB1995) Yet I am confident I will see the LORD’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13 NLT)  In Mark 9:23 Jesus said: “All things are possible to him who believes.” Amen. Oh Lord GOD! You Yourself made the heavens and earth by Your great power and with Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You! — Jeremiah 32:17 (HCSB)

Called Out

Image
…you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We were formerly darkness, but now we are Light in the Lord. Let us walk as children of Light. (See Ephesians 5:8) God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. (See 1 John 1:5) So do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness. Be imitators of God, as beloved children. (Ephesians 5:1) …let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:12b)  And proclaim the wondrous acts of the One who called us out of inky darkness into shimmering light. (See 1 Peter 2:9 VOICE) Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” — John 8:12 (NASB1995)

No Partiality

Image
Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to Him.” — Acts 10:34-35 (NASB1995) There is no favoritism, with our heavenly Father. God, our Savior, desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4 NASB1995) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:12-13 NKJV) And consider the patience of our Lord [His delay in judging and avenging wrongs] as salvation [that is, allowing time for more to be saved]… (See 2 Peter 3:15 AMP)  Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. — Isaiah 55:6 (NKJV)

His Unfailing Love

Image
“…each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.” — Psalm 42:8 (NLT) The  unfailing love of Yahweh fills the earth, and is as vast as the heavens. (See Psalm 119:64, 36:5 NLT) The LORD’s unfailing love surrounds those who trust Him. (See Psalm 32:10) Be glad and rejoice in His unfailing love, for He has seen your troubles, and He cares about the anguish of your soul. (See Psalms‬ ‭31‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬) In His unfailing love, God will stand with you… (See Psalm 59:10 NLT) Always trust in and rely on God’s lovingkindness and faithfulness. “Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.” — Psalms‬ ‭143‬:‭8‬ ‭(NASB1995‬‬)

It's Your Choice

Image
Though the fig tree does not blossom
and there is no fruit on the vines,
though the yield of the olive fails
and the fields produce no food,
 though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD;
I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) In the face of difficult circumstances, we can still choose to sing joyful praise to the Lord GOD. Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP), tells us why: He is our strength [our source of courage, our invincible army]; He has made our feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes us walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on our high places [of challenge and responsibility]. Whatever need we have, He is our source. His supply is endless. And He is a generous and gracious God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth. He is a good and faithful Father, Who always takes care of His children. Amen.

Trust in the LORD

Image
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) Trying to lean on our own understanding often leads to confusion and doubt. Instead of trying to figure things out on your own, with the limited knowledge that we have, let us trust in Yahweh, Who knows all. He is the source of all wisdom and knowledge. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. (Psalm 6:7 NLT) When we know, acknowledge and recognize Yahweh, in all our ways, He will make our paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block our way]. Amen and hallelujah!   (See Proverbs 3:6 AMP)

Yours is the Day

Image
Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have prepared the light and the sun. You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have made summer and winter. — Psalm 74:16-17 (NASB1995) This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) God is Lord of heaven and earth. He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things. He determined our appointed times and the boundaries of our habitation. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find Him—though he is not far from any one of us. (See Acts 17:24-27)  Trust in the living God, Who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let us give thanks to the LORD and sing praises to His name, the God Most High. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning and His faithfulness by night. (See Psalm 92:1-2)

Receive Him Gladly

Image
Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way. When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” And he hurried and came down and received Him gladly. — Luke 19:3-6 (NASB1995) May we have our minds set on seeing Jesus and getting to know Him more intimately. Let us position ourselves away from any distractions, and above all obstacles that may block our view from seeing Him and understanding His ways more clearly. Hebrews 12:2 (NLT) tells us to keep our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Jesus is standing at the door of your heart. In Revelation 3:20, He says: “…if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Will you receive Him gladly?

“Call to Me”

Image
“The LORD who made the earth, the LORD who forms it to establish it, Yahweh is His name, says this: Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:2-3 (HCSB) Let us call on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God, Who is worthy to be praised. “For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the LORD our God whenever we call on Him?” (Deuteronomy 4:7) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to ALL who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NASB1995) And He is faithful to give an answer. For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer]. (Romans 10:12 AMP)   If any of you need wisdom to guide you through a decision or circumstance, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (See James 1:5) He will guide us into all the truth a

His Lovingkindness

Image
The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NASB1995) The LORD  loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD (See Psalm 32:10) All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and goodness and truth and faithfulness to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. (Psalm 25:10 AMP) From generation to generation, God’s lovingkindness endures for those who revere Him. (Luke 1:50 VOICE) It’s His gracious lovingkindness that leads people to Christ and spiritual maturity. (See 2 Corinthians 1:12 AMP) Open your heart and mind to receive His lovingkindness. Let it flow out, in your speech and your actions, that others may be drawn to Yahweh. Finally, believers, rejoice! Be made complete [be what you should be], be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace [enjoy the spiritual well-being experienced by believers who walk closely with God]; and the

Seek Him

Image
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. — Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB1995) Instead of seeking earthly riches or giving priority to other worldly pursuits, be intentional to seek Yahweh daily, and delight to know His ways. The worries and riches and pleasures of this life will choke the Word out of you and prevent you from being fruitful. (See Luke 8:11 & 14 NASB1995) Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and God will take care of all the other things you worry about (food, clothing, etc.) For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (See Matthew 6:31-33) Seek Him with a deep longing and require Him as a vital necessity (See Jeremiah 29:13 AMP) Strive to know El Shaddai, the all-sufficient One, on an intimate basis. “Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you fore

The Nearness of God

Image
But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge,
that I may tell of all Your works. — Psalm 73:28  (NASB1995) How good it is to be near God! How precious also are His thoughts to you! How vast is the sum of them! If you should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When you awake, you are still with Him. (See Psalm 139:17-18) …the very hairs of your head are all numbered. (Matthew 10:30 NASB1995) I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!” (Psalm 91:2 AMP) He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. (Psalm 91:4 AMP) Let us delight in the nearness of our great God. Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. — Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭6‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

Come & Drink

Image
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. — Revelation 22:17 (NLT) The call to come to Jesus is an ongoing invitation. Coming to Jesus is not a one time event. We must continually come to Him, each and every day, and submit our lives to Him in daily devotion. He gives to us freely: life, freedom, peace, etc. In Matthew 16:24 (NKJV), Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” He invites all to come to Him. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. This water of life proceeds from the throne of God and of the Lamb. (See Revelation 22:1) The water He gives will become in us a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. (See John 4:14 NKJV) “Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk w

Be Deeply Rooted

Image
“ But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.”  — Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NLT) Never be worried or bothered by dismal circumstances, but keep trusting in YAHWEH, our Maker and Creator of the heavens and the earth. And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7 NLT) Remain in Christ and He will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in Him. (See John 15:4 NLT)

Stand Firm

Image
And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” — Luke 22:31-32 (NKJV) Just as Jesus prayed for Simon, I pray for followers of Christ today. No matter how chaotic current world events may get, may our faith not fail. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NKJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV)   In conclusion, my brethren, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with H

Boast Only in the LORD

Image
Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. — Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NASB1995) Psalm 94:4 (NKJV) says: All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. Who or what do you boast about? The wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless. So then let no one boast in men. (See 1 Corinthians 3:19-21 NASB1995) Rather, boast in Yahweh. For He is not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with Him. The boastful shall not stand in His sight… (See Psalm 5:4-5 NKJV) He delights in lovingkindness, justice and righteousness. May our greatest pursuit be to understand and know Yahweh, to become more like Him and

Stay Alert

Image
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.” — Revelation 12:10 (NASB1995) Stay on the alert, we are engaged in a war. The devil declared war with those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. (See Revelation 12:17) He accuses us before our God day and night, but we have a Mediator. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. (See 1 Timothy 2:5-6) We shall overcome by the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony, and we must not love our lives even when faced with death. (See Revelation 12:11)

He Watches Over His Word

Image
Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.” — Jeremiah 1:12 (NASB1995) The LORD actively watches over His word to fulfill it. Yahweh is faithful to fulfill every promise He has spoken. Believe His Word, in your heart and let it continually renew your mind. May we speak it out loud, and continue to stand on it, in the face of contrary circumstances. In Isaiah 55:11, He says, the word which goes forth from His mouth will not return to Him empty, without accomplishing what He desires, and without succeeding in the matter for which He sent it. Amen. In times of spiritual warfare the Word of God (the Sword of the Spirit) is the only offensive weapon in our arsenal. When Jesus was in the wilderness being tempted by the devil, His response was: “It is written...” (See Matthew 4:1-11) When the enemy comes at you with his lies, give him a jab by speaking the Word of God.

Be Faithful

Image
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. — Revelation 2:10 (NASB1995) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; (1 Peter 4:12) Who would have ever thought we would live to see someone be arrested for reading the Word of God? May we be faithful to the point of death. ...as for you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary of doing good. (2 Thessalonians 3:13) In Revelation 2:23, the Son of God says this: “…I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.” “He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life,

Hear the Word

Image
Then Shaphan the scribe showed the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” and Shaphan read it before the king. Now it happened, when the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, that he tore his clothes. — 2 Kings 22:11 (NKJV) When king Josiah heard the Word, his heart was tender and he humbled himself before the LORD. (See 2 Kings 22:19) He did right in the sight of the LORD and walked in all the way of his father David, nor did he turn aside to the right or to the left. (2 King 22:2) Before him there was no king like him who turned to the LORD with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; nor did any like him arise after him. (2 Kings 23:25) With all the voices that bombard the airwaves, let us intentionally keep our ears open to hear the Word of God, and listen to what it says. Romans 10:17 (NKJV) says: faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Let us treasure the Holy Scriptures in our hearts a

Hope Continually

Image
But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more. — Psalm 71:14 (NASB1995) Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalm 31:23-24 NKJV) How blessed and graciously favored is he whose help is the God of Jacob (Israel), Whose hope is in the LORD his God, (Psalm 146:5 AMP).  The LORD is our hiding place and our shield. Let us hope in His word. (See Psalm 119:114 NKJV) Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5 AMP) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NKJV)

Be Strong & Courageous

Image
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria, nor because of all the army that is with him; for the One with us is greater than the one with him. With him there is only an arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people relied on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. — 2 Chronicles 32:7-8 (AMP) Let us rely on the Word of God. When the enemy is on the prowl, be strong and courageous. You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Jesus has already gained the victory for us. The battle belongs to the LORD. Put on the full armor of God (See Ephesians 6:11-13), take each step in faith and He will bring you through. … ’Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV)

Live in the Light

Image
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; — 1 John 1:5-6 (NASB1995) With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused. Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him. (Ephesians 4:17-18 NLT) Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! (Ephesians 5:1, 5:8 NLT) Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (See Philippians 2:15 NLT)  …if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts

Forget Not

Image
Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!  Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: — Psalm 103:1-2 (NKJV) Forget not all His benefits. Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) says: the Lord daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB1995) He forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeems our lives from destruction and crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (See Psalm 103:3-4 NKJV) He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:10,12 NKJV) He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (See Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) When people desert you, the Lord will stand with you and strengthen you. (See 2 Timothy 4:16-17) M
