Be Empowered

Image
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. — Ephesians 3:16-17 (NLT) Open every corner and crevice of your heart to Christ, that through faith He may make your heart His home. And you will be empowered in your inner man through His Spirit. The LORD gives His people strength. Be deeply rooted and securely grounded in the unfailing, endless love of God. The love of the Anointed One is infinitely long, wide, high, and deep, surpassing everything anyone previously experienced. And may you come to know, through personal experience the love of Christ which far surpasses mere knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself. (See Ephesians 3:18-19 VOICE/AMP)

Rely on His Lovingkindness

Image
But I have trusted and relied on and been confident in Your lovingkindness and faithfulness; My heart shall rejoice and delight in Your salvation. — Psalm 13:5 (AMP) Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness, (Psalm 33:18 NASB1995). May we rely on the lovingkindness of the LORD. He is a God who protects and is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness and truth. (See Psalm 86:15 AMP) His lovingkindness extends to the heavens, His faithfulness reaches to the skies. (See Psalms 36:5 NASB1995) How precious is His unfailing love! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of His wings. (See Psalm 36:7 NLT)  What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:31-32 AMP) Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all

Boast Only in the LORD

Image
Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. — Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NASB1995) Let no one boast in men, about their wisdom, their future plans, or of the material goods they possess. James 4:16 says: …as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. May we boast only in YAHWEH, He is clothed with splendor and majesty. His right hand is majestic in power, His right hand shatters the enemy. (See Exodus 15:6) He laid the foundation of the earth, and stretched out heaven like a tent curtain. He walks upon the wings of the wind; He makes the winds His messengers, flaming fire His ministers. (See Psalm 104:1-5)  Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Ch

Live Him

Image
My counsel for you is simple and straightforward: Just go ahead with what you’ve been given. You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live him. You’re deeply rooted in him. You’re well constructed upon him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you’ve been taught. School’s out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving. — Colossians 2:6-7 (MSG) May we walk in union with Yeshua, reflecting His character in the things we do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin. (See Colossians 2:6 AMP) Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. (See Romans 12:1 MSG) Instead of conforming to this world and it’s culture, we are to be transformed by the Spirit of YAHWEH.  for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we

Seek the LORD

Image
Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice. Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalms 105:3-4 (AMP) Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV) …you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV) Second Chronicles 12:14 (NKJV) says King Rehoboam did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek the LORD. Let us choose life and prepare our hearts to seek the LORD and His will. He is our most essential need. And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10 AMP) And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth

Surrounded!

Image
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. — Psalm 125:2 (NASB1995) In Second Kings, the king of Aram was warring against Israel. When the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. But the prophet Elisha told him, “ Don’t be afraid! For there are more on our side than on theirs! ” Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!” The LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. (See 2 Kings 6:8, 6:16-17)  May we have eyes to see that there are more with us, than are with the enemy. Remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) The LORD not only dwells in us, but He surrounds us, forever . Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 124:8 NASB1995) Nothing is too difficult for

Set Free!

Image
For He looked down from His holy height; from heaven the LORD gazed upon the earth, to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to set free those who were doomed to death, — Psalms 102:19-20 (NASB1995) We were doomed to death, but our heavenly Father rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, (See Colossians 1:13 NASB1995) Glory! HalleluYAH! He called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. (See 1 Peter 2:9) It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (Galatians 5:1, 5:13 NASB1995) The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:12 NASB1995)  Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover or pretext for evil, but

Look to the LORD

Image
Unto you I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He is gracious and favorable toward us. — Psalm 123:1-2 (AMP) Look, and behold, the glory of the LORD. He is the LORD our God, who stirs up the sea, causing its waves to roar. His name is the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. (See Isaiah 51:15 NLT) O how bad it will be for you who look to the south to Egypt for help and depend on her horses, who trust in its many chariots and fix your hopes on its strong drivers. Yet you do not look to the Holy One of Israel for relief or even bother to consult Him. (Isaiah 31:1 VOICE) It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Psalm 118:8 NKJV) Set your sight upon the LORD, with great expectation. But as for me, I will look to the Eternal One, and my hope is in the True God who will save me. My God will hear

Overflowing Gratitude

Image
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude... — Philippians 4:6 (TPT) Let us present our requests before our Heavenly Father, not with a sense of entitlement, but with a humble and grateful attitude. For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. (Psalm 96:4 NASB1995) Bless the LORD, O my soul! He is clothed with splendor and majesty. (See Psalm 104:1) The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. (Psalm 145:8)  The LORD has done great things for us. He formed our inward parts and wove us together in our mother's womb. Give thanks to YAHWEH, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are His works, and my soul knows it very well. (See Psalm 139:13-14 NASB1995) God made us in His image and likeness. (See Genesis 1:26 NKJV) All the days ordained for each one of us we

Continually Give Thanks

Image
in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP) Being thankful begins with having an attitude of gratitude. Realizing that it is not because of our works that we deserve the good things of God, but by grace that He has generously given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. (See Ephesians 2:8-9 & 2 Peter 1:3)  It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. (Psalm 92:1 NLT) Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. (Psalm 105:1) He forgives all our sins, heals all our diseases; He redeems our lives from the pit, and crowns us [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy; The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. (See Psalm 103:3-4,6 AMP) Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever. (Psalm 136

Live with Great Expectation

Image
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. — 1 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT) My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. (Psalm 62:5-6 NKJV) Keep your hope anchored in the LORD. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Eternal, “plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope—never forget that.” (Jeremiah 29:11 VOICE)  Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. — Psalm 25:5 (NLT)

Consider Christ

Image
Consider the life of the One who endured such personal attacks and hostility from sinners so that you will not grow weary or lose heart. — Hebrews 12:3 (VOICE) Think about Yeshua. For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps. He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. (1 Peter 2:21-24 NLT) In this world we will have many troubles, trials and sufferings. There will be many battles to fight, but remember we have already won the war. Yeshua has triumphed over this corrupt world order. (See John 16:33 VOICE) In Him, we are more than conquerors and we too overcome. “...brethren, do not grow weary of doing go

Don't Wander

Image
For you were continually wandering like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls. — 1 Peter 2:25 (AMP)  All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all. Jesus bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors. (See Isaiah 53:6, 53:12) Hebrews 3:10 (NASB1995) says, this generation always go astray in their heart, and they did not know the ways of the LORD. I was so foolish and ignorant— I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. (Psalm 73:22-24 NLT) Make a dedicated decision to abide in YAHWEH, in your heart and follow His ways.  The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.  — Isaiah 58:11 (NLT)

Comfort & Compassion

Image
Sing for joy, O heavens! Rejoice, O earth! Burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted his people and will have compassion on them in their suffering. — Isaiah 49:13 (NLT) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation… (See 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NKJV) The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. (Psalm 145:8-9 NLT) Psalm 103:4 (NASB1995) says, He crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion. This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:21-23 NASB1995) Receive His comfort and compassion today. “ Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead. Return to the LORD your God, for he is merciful a

What Gets Your Attention?

Image
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, — 1 Timothy 4:1 (NASB1995) We must be very careful and discerning of who or what we choose to give our attention to. Proverbs 16:20 (NASB1995) says: He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. May we be hearers and doers of the Word of God. In Proverbs 1:24-25 (NLT), Wisdom says: “I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention. You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered.” We must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. (See Hebrews 2:1 NASB1995) As we continually grow in our knowledge and application of the Word of God, we will be able to recognize what is not in alignment with the Holy Scriptures, and turn away from it. Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this tragedy

Remain Grateful

Image
He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!” — Job 1:21 (NLT) In response to losing all his children, and all of his possessions, Job did not sin nor did he blame God. (See Job 1:22) Instead, he fell to the ground and worshiped. (See Job 1:20) When we experience loss in this life, may we remain grateful for God’s Presence. Regardless of the presents and gifts, He is always with us. “…Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?” (See Job 2:10) Remember that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from God our Father. (See James 1:17) He sustains us with the breath of life, strength, and good health. Our time, talents and abilities are gifts from Him. All of our material possessions, our family and friends are gifts from our Heavenly Father. It’s nothing we did to deserve it. It’s only because of His goodness, grace and mercy th

Never Give Up

Image
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! — 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (NLT) Our temporary, outer self may be wasting away, but praise YAHWEH, our inner self is being renewed day by day! Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. (Galatians 6:9 AMP) The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger. (Job 17:9 NLT) For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us! (Romans 8:18 AMP)  I look forward to what’s in store for me: a crown of righteousness that the Lord—the always right and just judge—will give me that day (but it is not only for me, but for all t

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
‘Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,  — Jeremiah 32:17 (NASB1995) O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. (Psalm 92:5 NKJV) Never drift away, nor draw back from YAHWEH. Stay anchored in the Lord. Let us declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night. (See Psalm 92:2 NKJV) Whatever storms come, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is faithful to bring you through it. Nothing is too difficult for Him. When you go through deep waters, He will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 NLT) Glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power he can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine. Glory belongs to God in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time and eternity

Highest Honor

Image
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. — Philippians 2:9-10 (NLT) Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” (See Revelation 22:13 NKJV) He was in the beginning with God. (See John 1:1-2) His name is above every other name. Revelation 19:16 (NASB1995) says: And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” In John 19:30, when Jesus said, “ It is finished! ” He meant it. He did everything necessary to pay the debt of our sin and restore us back into fellowship with our heavenly Father. Christ has been raised from the dead and seated in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. (See Ephesians 1:20) And this is the way to have eternal life—to know

Freely Give

Image
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NLT) Freely we have received, let us freely give. YAHWEH fills our cup to overflowing with blessings (see Psalm 23:6) so we can have more than enough to share with others. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (See 1 John 3:1 NIV) Let us also bestow upon others this same unconditional, unfailing love. A love that is patient and kind and keeps no record of being wronged. (See 1 Corinthians 13:4-5) Just as our heavenly Father sees the best in us, let us also highlight the good qualities in others. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. (Ephesians 1:7 NLT) May we shower His k

Be Filled & Flooded

and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. — Ephesians 3:19 (AMP) The greatest pursuit we can have in this life is to know YAHWEH, and be known by Him. No one wants to hear Jesus say: “ I never knew you; depart from Me …” (see Matthew 7:23) May we be fully capable of understanding, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love truly is. Let us come to know, through personal experience the amazing, endless love of Christ. (See Ephesians 3:18 NLT/AMP) As we open our hearts and minds to receive His love, let us also share His love with everyone He brings our way.   And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so tha

Give Thanks

Image
Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. — 1 Chronicles 16:8, 16:34 (NLT) It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. (Psalm 92:1 NLT) How often? At all times! First Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP) says: …in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. Give thanks to YAHWEH, Who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems us from death and crowns us with love and tender mercies. He fills our lives with good things. Our youth is renewed like the eagle’s! (See Psalm 103:3-5) Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonderful acts to the children of men! And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and speak of His deeds with shouts of joy! — Psalm 107:21-22 (AMP)

It's Your Choice to Rejoice

Image
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NLT) Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! (Habakkuk 3:17-18 AMP) Habakkuk is saying that regardless of how dire the external circumstances appear, we can still choose to rejoice in the LORD. Despite the state of affairs, personally, politically, socially, economically, etc. YAHWEH still reigns. Our great God is with us and He is the Source of all we need. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” (See Nehemiah 8:10 NLT) Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP)

Trust in the LORD

Image
Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart. — Psalm 37:3-4 (NASB1995) Trust in the LORD forever, for in God the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock. (Isaiah 26:4 NASB1995) “Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.” (Habakkuk 2:4 NLT) As we delight ourselves in the LORD, our desires come into alignment with His purposes and plans. And it is His purpose that will prevail. (See Proverbs 19:21 NLT) Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. (Psalm 37:5 NASB1995) Nothing is too difficult for YAHWEH. And the plans He has for you are good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11)  O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. Interlude — Psalm 62:8 (NLT)

Boast in the LORD

Image
My soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. — Psalm 34:2-3 (NASB1995) If we boast, may we boast only about YAHWEH, His goodness, grace and mercy. Let us lift up His name: Elohim, the all-powerful One, the everlasting Almighty God, Adonai, our master and majestic Lord. …and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God is opposed to the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, (1 Peter 5:5-6 NASB) A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor. (Proverbs 29:23 NKJV)  “ For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. ” — Luke 14:11 (NKJV)

Remain in Him

Image
“ Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself but must remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. ” — John 15:4-5 (NASB1995) Jesus is the true vine, and His Father is the vinedresser. (See John 15:1) We must remain in Him in order to live abundant, fruitful lives. We can do nothing of eternal value apart from our Savior. In Jesus, the Father has provided everything we need. He empowers us to do all that He has given us to do. Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.” (John 8:31 NLT) Faithful disciples closely follow His teachings and are led by the Holy Spirit. As believers, let us stay intimately connected to Christ and be engaged in a continual conversation with our Heavenly Father.  My soul follows close behind You; Your right ha

Be Dedicated

Image
You will keep the peace, a perfect peace, for all who trust in You, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to You. So trust in the Eternal One forever,  for He is like a great Rock—strong, stable, trustworthy, and lasting. — Isaiah 26:3-4 (VOICE) Dedicate your heart and your mind to YAHWEH, with no drawing back. Don’t let the worries of this life, draw you away from His Presence. Whether you’re in a palace, a prison or a pit, the Presence of God is with you and therefore you have His peace, unless you let the enemy steal it away. The physical location of your body is not as important as the posture of your heart and what occupies your mind. Have a soft heart that is always open to receive a touch from your heavenly Father. And keep your mind stayed on the God Most High (El Elyon), Elohim (the all-powerful One) and Jehovah Shalom, our peace. People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don’t quit. Depend on God

No Complaining.

Image
Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. — Philippians 2:14-15 (NLT) Instead of winning, complaining and grumbling, believers are to praise and give thanks to God at all times. Complaining dims the light in us and takes us down a dark path of looking at what is wrong, missing or lacking. Rather, keep your eyes on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:2 NLT). Complaining is an indication that we do not have the right perspective of a situation. Remember, if you are in Christ, you are above your circumstances, not beneath them. When things seem to be going awry, trust YAHWEH. If we love God and are called according to His purpose, we can be confident that He will work everything together for good. (See Romans 8:28) If you are called according to His purpose, know that He’s got you. Nothing t

Don't be Surprised

Image
Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. — 1 Peter 4:12 (NLT) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you. In John 16:33 (NLT), Jesus told us we would have many trials and sorrows here on earth. But He also said, in Him, we may have peace. In John 14:27 (NASB1995), He says: “Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19 NASB1995) O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. (Psalm 34:9-10 & 34:7 NASB1995) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17 NLT) Hallelujah and amen.

Get in Position

Image
And there was a man called by the name of Zaccheus; he was a chief tax collector and he was rich. Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way. — Luke 19:2-4 (NASB1995) May we be like Zaccheus, and intentionally get in the right place in order to see and hear Jesus clearly. Remove all distractions, and clear out any debris cluttering your mind. Let us bow down and have the posture of a humble heart.
