Be Assured

Image
‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ — Isaiah 41:10 (AMP) Be fully assured that what God has promised, He is able also to perform. His word which goes forth from His mouth does not return to Him empty, without accomplishing what He desires, and without succeeding in the matter for which He sent it. (See Isaiah 55:11 NASB) The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. (Psalm 103:6 NKJV) Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; (See Psalm 147:5 NKJV) ‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. (Jeremiah 32:17) …thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV)

Called into Fellowship

Image
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. — 1 Corinthians 1:9 (NASB1995) …indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. (See 1 John 1:3) The Amplified version says …our fellowship is a distinguishing mark of born-again believers. May our greatest delight be in the honor and privilege of being His Presence. Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)  Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness]. — Psalm 29:2 (AMP)

He Gives Us Peace

Image
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”  — John 14:27 (NASB1995) If our peace is based on external circumstances, it will be sporadic. When our peace hinges on His Presence, instead of a certain set of conditions, it will be perfect and unshaken. The Lord is faithful and He promises to be with you at all times. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4:6-7 TPT)

Turn to The Living God

Image
For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, — 1 Thessalonians 1:9 (NASB1995) Let us turn away from idols, which is any person, place or thing that we have more affection for, than we do for Elohim, our loving Creator. Do you place more importance on some earthly activity than drawing near to Yahweh? Do you give more time, attention, or energy to someone or something, than you do to worshiping, thanking and praising, El Elyon, our mighty God? An idol can be TV, social media, a parent, a spouse or your child, a form of entertainment, sports, money, material possessions, any man-made traditions, the sun, moon, or stars, etc. …turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them. (See Acts 14:15 NASB1995) May He occupy the primary place in our hearts and minds. “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God,

Seek God

Image
And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories. This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. — Acts 17:26-27 (AMP) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NASB1995) But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. (Psalm 73:28 AMP) Call upon Yahweh today. Seek Him and you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:12-13)

Not My Will

Image
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23 (NASB1995) Jesus instructs us to take up our cross and follow Him. We each have our path to travel, with it's hurdles, mountains, and valleys. Despite the trials, troubles, and tribulations we go through, let us continue to follow Jesus every day, knowing that He has already overcome this world and given us the ultimate victory. Before He was crucified, Jesus prayed three times, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” (See Matthew 26:39, 26:42, & 26:44) In John 6:38 (NASB1995),  Jesus said: “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”  The cross is the where die to ourselves and live for the Most High and His Kingdom. We die to our wants and wishes and seek to do His will. When we put our eyes on the Kingdom of God first, He takes car

God's Extravagant Love

Image
For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. — Galatians 3:26 (NLT) Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children… (See 1 John 3:1 VOICE) God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. (1 John 4:9 NLT) There is no greater love than the love Yahweh has for His children. He loves us unconditionally and He has no favorites. (See Galatians 2:6 NLT) And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38 NLT) May we live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (See Philippians 2:15 NLT)

Be Open

Image
“ Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. ” — Revelation 3:20 (NASB) In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promises His disciples that He is with them always, to the end of the age. As believers, let us make sure we are with Him,  at all times. In Revelation 3:20, He invites the church (believers) to open the door and dine with Him. That is an intimate one-on-one time of fellowship, with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. May you keep the door of your heart open to Him, and invite Him into every area of your life. Open your mind to His Word, and let it continually transform you and change the way you think. Open your heart to receive His love and compassion, so you can share it with others. He is the good Shepherd, continually seek His guidance and follow Him wherever He leads. Amen.

Endure to the End

Image
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. — James 1:2-4 (NLT) For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised. (Hebrews 10:36 AMP) What enables us to endure when faced with challenges and difficulties from all sides? Hebrews 12:3 tells us to consider Jesus, Who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that we will not grow weary and lose heart. For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (See Hebrews 12:2) May we keep our joy, as we persevere through temporary trials and temptation, for the c

Draw Near

Image
Since we have a great High Priest who presides over the house of God, let us draw near with true hearts full of faith, with hearts rinsed clean of any evil conscience, and with bodies cleansed with pure water. — Hebrews 10:21-22 (VOICE) Rejoice greatly in the LORD, let your soul exult in our God; for He has clothed us with garments of salvation, He has wrapped us with a robe of righteousness. (See Isaiah 61:10) Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16 NASB1995) For there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5 AMP) …because Jesus continues forever, He holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (See Hebrews 7:24-25 NASB1995) Today, draw near to Yahweh, with a sincere heart and a clear consci

He Guides

Image
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. — Psalm 23:1-3 (NASB1995) The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8 NLT) For those who are willing to learn, Yahweh will instruct you and teach you the way you should go. (See Psalm 32:8 AMP) He will guide you with His counsel, leading you to a glorious destiny. (See Psalm 73:24 NLT) Let us continually follow His lead.  For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water ... — Revelation 7:17 (ESV)

Call on His Name

Image
Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to Him.” — Acts 10:34-35 (NASB1995) The Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe. (See Deuteronomy 10:17 NASB1995) For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:11-13 NASB1995)

Bless the Lord

Image
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. — Psalm 84:11 (NASB1995) Let us be grateful and thank Yahweh for all the good things He does for us. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NASB1995) He is the source of all that we have: the breath of life, our talents, our physical, and mental health and our material resources. And the greatest gift of all: Jesus, our Savior. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16) Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah. (Psalm 68:19) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; (Psalm 103:1-2 NASB1995)

The LORD is Good

Image
The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your saints shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power, — Psalm 145:9-11 (NKJV) Yahweh is good and He does good. The Eternal sustains all who stumble on their way. For those who are broken down, God is near. He raises them up in hope. All eyes have turned toward Him, waiting in expectation; when they are hungry, He feeds them right on time. The desires of every living thing are met by His open hand. The Eternal is right in all His ways, and He is kind in all His acts. (See Psalm 145:14-17 VOICE) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NASB1995) The Eternal is gracious. He shows mercy to His people. For Him anger does not come easily, but faithful love does—and it is rich and abundant. — Psalm 145:8 (VOICE)

Repent & Return

Image
So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]; and that He may send [to you] Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you, — Acts 3:19-20 (AMP) Jesus bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. (See 1 Peter 2:24) Repent and return to God. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NASB1995) Amen.

He is with You

Image
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ — Isaiah 41:10 (NASB1995) When you go through deep waters, Yahweh will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 NLT) This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. (Isaiah 48:17 NLT) Keep your ears tuned in to His still small voice. Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left. (Isaiah 30:21 NLT)

Gain New Strength

Image
But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. — Isaiah 40:30-31 (AMP) Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired… He will neither slumber nor sleep. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. (Isaiah 40:28-29 & Psalm 121:4 NASB1995) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (Psalm 105:4 NASB1995) Deeply long for His presence. The LORD gives his people strength… (See Psalm 29:11 NLT)

Do Not Lose Heart

Image
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. — 2 Corinthians 4:16 (NASB1995) May we be glad that our inner man is breathing in new life every day. You see, the short-lived pains of this life are creating for us an eternal glory that does not compare to anything we know here. So do not set your sights on the things you can see with your eyes. All of that is fleeting; it will eventually fade away. Instead, focus on the things we cannot see, which live on and on. (See 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 VOICE) So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. — 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT)

Be Still

Image
“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God. I am honored among all the nations. I am honored over all the earth.” — Psalm 46:10 (VOICE) Let us unplug from all that keeps us connected to this world. Be still and recognize our Mighty God. He is the great “I AM”. Whatever we need, He is the answer. He is the Most High God, higher than any mountain or obstacle before you. He is Adonai, set your affections upon Him. Worthy is He to receive all praise, honor and glory. He is El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient God. He shall supply all your needs. He is Jehovah Shalom, the LORD our Peace. Cast all your cares upon Him and let the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (See Philippians 4:7 NASB1995)

Called Out

Image
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We have been called out of darkness. For the Father rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (See Colossians 1:13-14) Now we are light in the Lord, let us walk as children of light. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; (See Ephesians 5:8,11). May you be a beacon of light, shining out clearly, in the world of darkness, holding out and offering to everyone the word of life… (See Philippians 2:15-16 AMP)

A Very Present Help

Image
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah — Psalm 46:1-3 (ESV) Self-sufficiency is an oxymoron. We are not sufficient in and of ourselves. Jesus said: “…apart from Me you can do nothing.” (See John 15:5) In 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV), He told the Apostle Paul: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” The Lord is always ready to help. Let us rely on His help at all times and in all situations. He is not only a very present help, but He is also a well-proved help in trouble. (See Psalm 46:1 AMP)

Keep Watch & Pray

Image
“Keep watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” — Mark 14:38 (NASB1995) Let us keep watch and pray without ceasing. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12) First Peter 5:8 (NLT) says: Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NLT) Believers ought to always pray and not lose heart. (See Luke 18:1)

He Leads & Guides

Image
For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, for You are my strength. — Psalm 31:3-4 (NASB1995) May we follow Yahweh, all the days of our lives. He knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) He will show you the path of life; (See Psalm 16:11 AMP) He will renew your strength and guide you along right paths, bringing honor to his name. (See Psalm 23:3 NLT) Second Corinthians 2:14 (NASB1995), says: But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ... Whatever you are going through, put a big "BUT" after it. But GOD! We have victory in Christ, and our heavenly Father is faithful. He will show you the way through, over, under or around it. The path of life leads upward for the wise; they leave the grave behind. (Proverbs 15:24 NLT) Amen!

Receive Him Gladly

Image
When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” And he hurried and came down and received Him gladly. — Luke 19:6 (NASB1995) Zaccheus ran on ahead of the crowd and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus, for He was about to pass through that way. (See Luke 19:4) When Jesus invited Himself to stay at Zaccheus’ house, He received Him gladly. In Revelation 3:20, Jesus says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” May we gladly receive Him into our hearts and into every area of our lives, each and every day. …let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly. — Psalm 68:3 (NKJV)

There is No Other

Image
“Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me.” — Isaiah 44:6 (NASB1995) It is our mighty God Who laid the foundations of the earth. (See Job 42:2) He counts the stars and calls them all by name. (See Psalm 147:4) God created every living creature in the waters, in the sky and on the land. He formed you in the womb of your mother. He saw you before you were even born. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (See Psalm 139:16) It is futile to put your trust in anyone or anything else. Fully rely on God. He can do all things, and no purpose of His can be thwarted. (See Job 42:2) He is God Most High, a righteous God and a Savior. Turn to Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For He is God, and there is no other. (See Isaiah 45:21-22) “That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one beside

Our Hiding Place

Image
You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. — Psalm 32:7 (NASB1995) Abide in the Lord. For in Him we live and move and exist [that is, in Him we actually have our being]… (See Acts 17:28 AMP) Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. (Psalm 91:1-2 NLT) Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalm 62:8 AMP)

Pray, Ask & Believe

Image
“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.” — Mark 11:24 (NASB1995) When it comes to praying, asking and believing, the first question is: Where is your faith? In Mark 11:22 (NLT), Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God.” Our trust is to be in Yahweh alone. In Mark 11:25 (NASB1995), He goes on to say: “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. So do not expect to receive from our gracious heavenly Father if you are holding a grudge against someone, or if you are holding onto a root of bitterness. If you ask [God for something] and do not receive it, it could be because you ask with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda]... (See James 4:3 AMP) No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (See Psalm 84:11)

Seek Him

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. — Psalm 63:1 (NASB1995) Because His unfailing love is better than life itself, let us praise Him as long as we live. He will satisfy more than the richest feast. Because He is our helper, may we praise Him and sing for joy in the shadow of His wings. (See Psalm 63:3-7 NLT) And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. (Psalm 9:10 & 34:10  NASB1995) Amen.

God is Able

Image
And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. — 2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMP) Yahweh is able to handle everything that concerns you. He provides not only what we need, but He also gives us seed to sow and strength to do good works. “Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” (Luke 6:38 NASB1995) May we be generous givers of our time, talents and financial resources.
