Call on The Name

Image
And God said to Moses, “I am Yahweh—‘the LORD.’ I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty’ —but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh, to them. — Exodus 6:2-3 (NLT) I will proclaim the name of the LORD; how glorious is our God! (Deuteronomy 32:3 NLT) Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalm 34:3 NKJV) Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8 NKJV) The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17) The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10 NLT) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7 AMP) Call on the name of the LORD, the One true and living God. …everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’ (Acts 2:21) Amen. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the

Fear God

Image
Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other was named Puah; and he said, “When you are helping the Hebrew women to give birth and see them upon the birthstool, if it is a son, then you shall put him to death; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live.” But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live. — Exodus 1:15-17 (NASB1995) Let the actions of Shiphrah and Puah serve as a reminder that we need to obey Yahweh, rather than man. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be held in reverence by all those around Him. (Psalm 89:7 NKJV) The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe. (Proverbs 29:25 NKJV) Exodus 1:20-21 says, God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, and became very mighty. Because the midwives feared God, He established households for them. Behold, for so shall the man be blessed and divine

Light Arises

Image
When life is dark, a light will shine for those who live rightly— those who are merciful, compassionate, and strive for justice. — Psalm 112:4 (VOICE) Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! (Isaiah 60:1 AMPC) Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me. — Micah 7:8 (NKJV)

Perfect Peace

Image
You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) As you fix your thoughts on Yahweh, and dedicate your heart to Him, He will keep you in perfect peace. May we demolish arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. Let us take prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subdue them into obedience to the Anointed One. (See 2 Corinthians 10:5 VOICE) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Trust God

Image
Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come closer to me.” And they came closer. And he said, “I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.” — Genesis 45:4-5 (NASB1995) When it seems like your life is in the pits, keep trusting Yahweh. If those closest to you betray you, keep trusting God, and do not harbor any ill will toward anyone. Even if you are imprisoned, God has not forgotten about you. He will work it all together for good, for those who love Him. Through all of our challenges, God is equipping us and getting us in proper position, which will lead to the preservation of life, our own, as well as the lives of others. So, trust in the Lord completely , and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. (See Proverbs 3:5 TPT) Seek his will in all you do, and he will show

Forget & Be Fruitful

Image
Now before the year of famine came, two sons were born to Joseph, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On, bore to him. Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, “For,” he said, “God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household.” He named the second Ephraim, “For,” he said, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.” — Genesis 41:50-52 (NASB1995) The place of our most difficult hardships can be the very place of our greatest victory and fruitfulness. Patient endurance is what we need. In the time of adversity, when it seems you are being tested in the fiery furnace of affliction, earnestly seek Yahweh. He is our strength and our fortress, our refuge in the day of affliction. Like Joseph, let us forget all of our past troubles. Let go of any resentment, unforgiveness and bitterness. Once we let go of the past, we are ready to receive God’s healing and move forward. As we proceed, may we produce good fruit and walk in all the blessings God has in

The Greatest Joy

Image
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. — James (Jacob) 1:2-3 (TPT) In John 16:33 (NLT), Jesus said: “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” As long as we live in this world, we can expect to go through some adverse situations. …but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57 NASB1995) We can experience the greatest joy, knowing that whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. (See 1 John 5:4 NASB1995) Hebrews 12:3 (NLT) tells us to think of all the hostility Jesus endured from sinful people; then we won’t become weary and give up.

The Dreamer

Image
One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever. — Genesis 37:5 (NLT) In Genesis 37:14, Joseph's father sent him to see about the welfare of his brothers and the flock. When Joseph’s brothers saw him coming, they recognized him in the distance. As he approached, they made plans to kill him. “Here comes the dreamer!” they said. “Come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns. We can tell our father, ‘A wild animal has eaten him.’ Then we’ll see what becomes of his dreams!” (Genesis 37:18-20 NLT) Our enemy would like to crush our dreams and destroy our hope. Hold on to the dreams God has placed in your heart, no matter what happens.  Joseph’s brother’s ended up selling him to Midianite traders for twenty pieces of silver. (See Genesis 37:28) In Genesis 50:20, Joseph tells his brothers: “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many pe

Not Destroyed

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.   — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) Whatever set of circumstances you face today, know that the situation has come, and it will also pass. Second Corinthians 4:17 says, our troubles are light and momentary. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! Remember, the plans the LORD has for you are good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11) And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NASB1995)

Be Strong & Courageous!

Image
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (NASB1995) “…be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:7 NASB1995)  “No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.” (Joshua 1:5 NLT)  Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13 NLT) And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:19 (NLT) Amen.

Don't Worry

Image
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) The longer we look at our problems, and troubles, the larger they seem. When we keep our focus on God, we gain the proper perspective. “For nothing will be impossible with God.” (See Luke 1:37) He is bigger and more powerful than any difficulty we face. He is higher than any mountain that stands before us.  …let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT)

No Separation

Image
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Romans 8:38-39 (NLT) Glory hallelujah! Let us rejoice in the truth of God’s Word, that nothing, absolutely nothing can separate us from His love. There is no need to pretend with our heavenly Father. He knows you inside and out. Nothing we do takes Him by surprise. Instead of trying to hide from Him or build barriers between you and Him, because of the hurts you have suffered, cling to Him. Call upon His name. Yahweh beckons us to come to Him. Put your trust in Him and follow Him closely all the days of your life.

Our Provider

Image
And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” — Genesis 22:14 (NKJV) The LORD is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and He is faithful to provide all that we need, spiritually, physically, etc. His supply is endless.  …your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. (See Matthew 6:8 NKJV) May our eyes look expectantly to Him. He gives us our food in due time. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. (See Psalm 145:15-17) Amen.

“Is anything too difficult for the LORD?

Image
“Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” — Genesis 18:14 (NASB1995) In Genesis 21:1-2, the LORD did for Sarah as He had promised. So Sarah conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the appointed time of which God had spoken to him. Nothing is too difficult for our great God. He makes barren wombs fruitful. He brought water out of a rock. (Exodus 17:6)  He closed the mouths of lions. (Daniel 6:22) He delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego from the fiery furnace, etc.  Yahweh is faithful to fulfill every word He has spoken. Fourteen years elapsed between the birth of Ishmael, the son of the flesh, and the birth of Isaac, the son of the promise. No matter how circumstances may appear, once we receive the Word of the LORD, we need to keep standing in faith, until the appointed time comes. By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of li

“The God Who Sees Me”

Image
Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the LORD, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” — Genesis 16:13 (NLT) The LORD is El-Roi, “ The God Who Sees Me .” Our heavenly Father is always with us. Be reassured, that He has not forgotten about you, or your situation. In fact, His thoughts of you outnumber the grains of sand. (See Psalm 139:17-18 NLT) The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. (Psalm 34:15 NASB1995) He examines our hearts and knows everything about us. He knows when we sit down and when we rise. He knows our thoughts and is intimately acquainted with all of our ways. (See Psalm 139:1-3) He goes before us, and makes a way for us. He also follows behind us. He places His hand of blessing on our heads. (See Psalm 139:5 NLT & Isaiah 43:16) Amen and hallelujah!

Believe God

Image
Then the LORD said to him, “No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own who will be your heir.” Then the LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith. — Genesis 15:4-6 (NLT) Abram believed Yahweh, and many years later, at the appointed time, the LORD did for Sarah as He had promised. Well past the age of childbearing, she conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age. (See Genesis 21:1-3) Regardless of the circumstances, may we always believe in Yahweh. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; (Hebrews 10:23 NASB1995) He is faithful to fulfill every word He has spoken.

Restoration

Image
When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! So the LORD blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys. — Job 42:10, 12 (NASB1995) When Job took his eyes off of himself, and prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. May we bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. (See Luke 6:28 NASB1995) “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you for your offenses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your offenses.”] (Mark 11:25-26 NASB)  In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm fou

Rejoice

Image
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB1995) Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. (Psalm 100:1-3) Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods, (Psalm 95:2-3). Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. (Psalm 95:6)

Armed with Strength

Image
The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger. — Job 17:9 (NLT) God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. (Psalm 18:32 NLT) The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. (Psalm 28:7 AMP) Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalm 31:24 NKJV) He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. (Isaiah 40:29 NASB1995) I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; (Psalm 71:16a NKJV)

Be Sure & Fearless

Image
God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help. So why run and hide? No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. Even in heavy winds and huge waves, or as mountains shake, we are sure and fearless. [pause].  — Psalm 46:1-3 (VOICE) When I am afraid, I will put my trust and faith in You. In God, whose word I praise;
In God I have put my trust; I shall not fear. What can mere man do to me? (Psalm 56:3-4 AMP) Yahweh is a very present help in times of trouble. He is a safe shelter. He gives us strength to stand, in spite of the difficulties we face. If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? (See Romans 8:31 AMP)

Our Burden-Bearer

Image
Blessed be the Lord, who bears our burden day by day, the God who is our salvation! Selah. — Psalm 68:19 (AMP) Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalm 55:22 NASB1995) Release all your cares and concerns to Yahweh, and do not pick them back up again. Nothing is too difficult for our mighty God to handle. Then Jesus said, “ Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. ” (Matthew 11:28-30 NLT)

Wisdom & Understanding

Image
“And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.’” — Job 28:28 (NASB1995) Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. (Proverbs 3:7 NLT) The reverent fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. (See Psalm 111:10) Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7 NKJV) Proverbs 1:7 says: …fools despise wisdom and instruction. Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. (See Proverbs 4:6 NLT) ...wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. (Proverbs 24:14 NLT) But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5 NASB1995) Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding

Be Thankful

Image
in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP) We enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Be thankful to Yahweh, and bless His name. (See Psalm 100:4) always giving thanks for everything to God the Father, in the name of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah. (Ephesians 5:20 TLV) Give thanks to the One Who has given us everything we need for living a godly life. (See 2 Peter 1:3 NLT) He forgives all your iniquity. He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the Pit. He crowns you with lovingkindness and compassions. (Psalm 104:3-5) Be glad in the LORD, you righteous ones, and give thanks to His holy name. (Psalm 97:12 NASB1995) Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. (Psalm 105:1 NLT)

The Power of the Tongue

Image
Then Job spoke again: “How long will you torture me? How long will you try to crush me with your words? You have already insulted me ten times. You should be ashamed of treating me so badly. — Job 19:1-3 (NLT) Don't crush people with your words. James 3:8 says, the human tongue is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. (James 3:9 NLT) Proverbs 18:21 says: Death and life are in the power of the tongue. We choose the words that come out of our mouths. Make a decision to speak words of life over your life and over the lives of those around you. Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. (Proverbs 16:24 NLT)  “ But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. ” — Matthew 12:36-37 (NLT)

Our Advocate

Image
“Even now, behold, my Witness is in heaven, and my Advocate [who vouches and testifies for me] is on high. — Job 16:19 (AMP) In the midst of his pain and agony, Job kept his faith in his Advocate. No matter what is going on in your life, know that we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. (See 1 John 2:1-2 NASB1995) For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5 NKJV)

His Divine Care

Image
‘[You have] clothed me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews.‘You have granted me life and lovingkindness; And Your providence (divine care, supervision) has preserved my spirit. — Job 10:11-12 (AMP) The life of every living thing is in the hand of the LORD, and the breath of all mankind. (See Job 12:9-10)  “With Him are wisdom and might; To Him belong counsel and understanding. (Job 12:13 NASB1995) He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. He always takes care of His people. Adonai is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. Adonai watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. (Psalm 145:17, 20 TLV) The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. — Psalm 145:15-16 (NASB1995)

Hope in His Word

Image
At least I can take comfort in this: Despite the pain, I have not denied the words of the Holy One. — Job 6:10 (NLT) In spite of the sorrows and pain we endure in this life, may we never deny the words of the Holy One. The entirety of His word is truth, and every one of His righteous judgments endures forever. (See Psalm 119:160) He watches over His Word to perform it and His word that goes forth from His mouth does not return to Him void. (See Isaiah 55:11) This is our comfort in our affliction, that His word has revived us. (See Psalm 119:50 NASB1995) H old firmly to the word of life; (Philippians 2:16a NLT) Yahweh is our hiding place and our shield. May we hope in His word. (See Psalm 119:114)  Trouble and anguish have come upon me, yet Your commandments are my delight. — Psalm 119:143 (NASB1995)

Be Transformed

Image
Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. — Romans 12:2 (TPT) In order to seek God’s will we need to spend time with Him in prayer and regularly read the Holy Scriptures. We will be progressively transformed as we renew our minds, and bring our thoughts into alignment with the Word of God. This will empower us to discern what the will of God is, instead of imitating the world around us. As we submit ourselves to Him, His Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us to do the right thing at the right time.

Heed the Warning

Image
“ If you do well [believing Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore My instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it. ” — Genesis 4:7 (AMP) Let us heed the warning the LORD gave to Cain. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; (See John 10:10a NASB) Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NLT) He wants to take you out, get you to sin against God. But Jesus has set us free. We no longer have to let the forces of evil overpower us. He came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. (See John 10:10 NASB1995) Don't ignore Yahweh's instruction.

New Strength

Image
He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors him the most. — Psalm 23:3 (TLB) Yahweh leads us beside quiet and peaceful streams. Instead of continually striving until you are all stressed out and weary, cast your cares on the LORD. Trust Him to handle everything that concerns you and He will renew your strength. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:30-31 NLT) The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. — Psalm 29:11 (NLT)

Commit Your Works

Image
Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. — Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) Before you make your plans, seek Yahweh's will. The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps. (Proverbs 16:9 NASB1995) Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT) For the LORD knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) Know that the LORD’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. (See Psalm 33:11 NLT) Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. — Psalm 25:4 (NKJV)
