Do Not Doubt

Image
But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God, being fully convinced that God had the power to do what He had promised. — Romans 4:20-21 (AMP) We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. (Hebrews 6:12 NIV) Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger. (See Romans 4:20 NLT) May we never doubt God or become spiritually sluggish. Instead, let us be fully convinced that what God has promised, He is also able to perform. Lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power and by patient endurance inherit the promises. (See Hebrews 6:12 AMP) For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV)  Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without waver

Greater & Greater

Image
He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less. — John 3:30 (NLT) Isaiah 60:1-2 (NASB1995) tells us to “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” As darkness covers the earth, children of God are to become the light in this world. We are to reflect the glory of our Heavenly Father, more and more each day. Second Corinthians 3:18 (AMP) says: And we all… are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. In order for us to reflect the light and love of Jesus, we must decrease and He must increase, in us. Open the door of your heart today and let Jesus shine on those He brings your way. Renew your mind with the Word of God, so your actions reflect the character and nature of our loving and

Tell Everyone

Image
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. — Psalm 19:1-2 (NLT) What are you proclaiming? We defeat the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony. (See Revelation 12:11) Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. (Psalm 145:4 NLT) O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. (Psalm 40:5 NLT) But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do. (Psalm 73:28 NLT) When I see and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that Y

Seek the Lord

Image
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; — Acts 17:26-27 (NKJV) We have all been appointed by God to be on the earth for such a time as this. May the world condition and the current circumstances of our lives, drive us to seek after God, and His Kingdom, first and foremost. His purpose was for every nation, culture, race and religion to seek after Him, the LORD, our Redeemer the Holy One of Israel. Acts 17:27 (VOICE) says: “ His purpose in all this was that people of every culture and religion would search for this ultimate God, grope for Him in the darkness, as it were, hoping to find Him. ” Without Jesus, the Light of the World, we are all in the dark. Let us actually make Acts 17:28 a reality, and live our lives in God, n

Safe & Sound

Image
“Yahweh, you’re the bedrock beneath my feet, my faith-fortress, my wonderful deliverer, my God, my rock of rescue where none can reach me. You’re the shield around me, the mighty power that saves me, and my high place. All I need to do is to call on you, Yahweh, the praiseworthy God. When I do, I’m safe and sound in you— delivered from my foes!” — Psalms 18:2-3 (TPT) God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. (Psalm 18:30 NLT) You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. (Psalm 18:39 NT) You surround me with songs of victory. Interlude (Psalm 32:7 NLT) Abide in the LORD. He equips us for the battle and ensures us of victory.

The One Who Helps

Image
For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” — Isaiah 41:13 (ESV) The great “ I AM ” is the One who helps us. Elohim, Creator of the universe, and all it contains. He is the all-sufficient and all-powerful El Shaddai. He gives to all life, breath, and all things. (See Acts 17:25 NKJV) Nothing is too difficult for the LORD. God chose us to be in a relationship with Him even before He laid out plans for this world… (See Ephesians 1:4 VOICE) And He doesn't leave us as orphans. He promises to be with us always. When you pass through the waters, He will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 ESV) Whatever you're going through today, you can confidently rely on His help. Amen.

Set Your Mind

Image
Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. — Colossians 3:2 (AMP) Don’t sit by passively and let the enemy fill your mind with garbage. Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires. (Romans 13:14 NLT) Make a dedicated decision to let your mind be led by the Spirit of God. Romans 12:1 (NASB1995), urges us, to present our bodies to God as a living and holy sacrifice. For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose]. (Romans 8:5 AMP)  …we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes]. (See 1 Corinthians 2:16 AMP) So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But le

Come Closer

Image
Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]. — James 4:8 (AMP) When we draw near to God, it is a matter of the heart. James 4:8 (TPT) says: Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. Let us come close to our heavenly Father with a repentant heart. One that is soft and ready to be molded by Him. If our loyalty is divided between God and the world we are being double-minded. (See James 4:8 NLT) Don't let the desire for any earthly thing, lure you away from the Kingdom of God, which is about your righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) May we cast off the ways and attitudes of this world and set our affections on Jesus, the Lord of lords and King of kings. He is our Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6), and the Savior of the World (1 John 4:14). Love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,

Stable & Able

Image
And He will be the security and stability of your times, a treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is your treasure. — Isaiah 33:6 (AMP) Don’t look for stability in your job or your financial investments. They are resources, not your source. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. You can count on some people some of the time, but you can always count on El Elyon, the God Most High. When times are chaotic, He is safe and secure. The LORD does not change (See Malachi 3:6). He is strong and mighty and He reigns Supreme over all. Furthermore, He always takes care of His people. Not only is He stable, He is also able. Nothing is too difficult for YAHWEH to handle. Amen.  Blessed [happy and sheltered by God’s favor] is everyone who fears the LORD [and worships Him with obedience], who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. — Psalm 128:1 (AMP)

Stay in Peace

Image
The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace. — Psalm 29:11(NASB1995) Jesus, the Prince of Peace, dwells within us. The One who commanded the wind and waves to be still and they obeyed. (See Mark 4:39-41 NLT) He has given us His peace. Let it guard your heart and mind at all times. Be at peace with yourself. Jesus has made peace for us with our heavenly Father. And we are to dwell with others in peace. Seek peace and pursue it. (See Psalm 34:14 AMP) If we are not living in peace, we are allowing the thief to steal, kill and destroy. (See John 10:10)  Even though we have tribulation, distress and suffering in this world, we have the perfect peace of God, in Christ. His victory abides. (See John 16:33 AMP)  “…the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the LORD who has compassion on you.” — Isaiah 54:10 (NASB1995)

Jesus is The Way

Image
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus is the only Way to God, the Father. When we follow the world’s ways, or fleshly, selfish, desires, we end up taking detours away from God’s will and falling into deep, dark ditches or going down dead-end roads, that leave us feeling empty and hopeless. The ways of the LORD are higher than our ways, let us take the higher way (See Isaiah 55:8-9), and draw near to God. Jesus is the truth, and His name is called The Word of God (See Revelation 19:13). John 8:32 says: “you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” We experience freedom when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and grow in our knowledge of Him as the living Word of God. May we continually be led by the light and truth of God's Word. (See Psalm 43:3) Jesus is the life. John 1:14 (NLT) says: The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to ever

Walk by Faith

Image
The path we walk is charted by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (VOICE) This verse is a reminder that our way has already been charted. God has already gone before us and made a way for us. Our part is to believe and follow. You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21 NLT) Not even the tricks of the enemy can stop the good plans the LORD has purposed for us.  Know this: my God will also fill every need you have according to His glorious riches in Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King. (Philippians 4:19 VOICE) The Amplified Bible says God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need. You will have more than enough. He is not a God of scarcity. He has unlimited resources. So believe in the goodness of God and trust in His faithfulness to take care of all your needs and show you the best pathway for your life. (See Psalm 32:8 NLT) for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our

New Every Morning

Image
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” — Lamentations 3:22-24 (ESV) Praise God! We get a fresh start every morning! No matter how badly we messed up yesterday, we can repent and move forward, doing the new thing the LORD has for us today. Lamentations 3:22 (CSB) says, because of the LORD’s faithful love we do not perish… So let us keep in step with YAHWEH, no looking back or taking detours, knowing that He loves us, no matter what.. May we open our hearts to receive His never ending supply of love and mercy. Allow Him to continually fill you with more of Him, and healing will come. He will turn your mourning into gladness. Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Hallelujah! And amen.  “ Indeed, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things ...” — Isaiah 42:9a (AMP)

Relief

Image
When the LORD saw their change of heart, he gave this message to Shemaiah: “Since the people have humbled themselves, I will not completely destroy them and will soon give them some relief…” — 2 Chronicles 12:7 (NLT) In 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NLT), the LORD says, “…if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” Relief for the people and restoration of the land comes when the people of God humble themselves and seek His face. Pride causes people to manipulate situations and try to force their own way, but the humble seek God’s will. They are led by the Spirit of God and do things His way, which always lines up with His Word. “I warned the proud, ‘Stop your boasting!’ I told the wicked, ‘Don’t raise your fists! Don’t raise your fists in defiance at the heavens or speak with such arrogance.’” For no one on earth—from east or west, or even from

Show Me

Image
“ Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. ” — Psalms 25:4-5 (NLT) Once the LORD shows us the right path, let us faithfully follow Jesus and walk according to the truth, the Word of God. The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands. (Psalms 25:8-10 NLT) Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him. (See John 14:6 NLT) Our only hope is in Him. The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” — Psalms 32:8 (NLT)

He Bears Our Burdens

Image
Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits; — Psalm 103:1-2 (AMP) One of God’s many wonderful benefits is that He bears our burdens, every day . Psalm 68:19 (NASB 1995) says, “ Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah. ” So, I ask, if God is bearing our burdens, why are we so determined to hold onto them? Each and every day cast all your cares, concerns and anxieties unto Him and do not pick them back up again. Every time you start to worry about something, just thank God that He has already worked that situation out.

Rely on God

Image
…We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NLT) Whenever we face challenges, may we always remember to rely on God and not ourselves. Not only does He go before us and make a way, He also goes with us and empowers us to do what He has called us to do. Even when the situation appears hopeless, the Word of God is true, and Romans 8:28 (AMP) says, that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. Let us love God with all our heart, soul and strength. And be about fulfilling His plan and purpose for our lives.

Perfect & Constant

Image
“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].” — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) If you are not experiencing the perfect and constant peace of the LORD, your thoughts are probably fixed on present circumstances: sickness or disease, the economy, your bank account balance, etc. So do not set your sights on the things you can see with your eyes. All of that is fleeting. It will eventually fade away. Instead, focus on the things we cannot see, which live on and on. (See 2 Corinthians 4:18 VOICE) When our hearts and minds are focused on and dedicated to the LORD, He will keep us in perfect and constant peace. Focus on His goodness and His grace. He is a generous God with an abundant supply of all we need. Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD God is the eternal Rock. (Isaiah 26:4) ...the LORD is a great God, a great K

Worship the LORD

Image
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness]. — Psalm 29:2 (AMP) Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. (Psalm 95:6-7 NLT) For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being. (Job 12:10) I was reminded this morning, that it is so not about us, but it’s ALL about Him, His will and His wonderful plan that He has for us.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. — Psalm 100:4-5 (NLT)

Trust God

Image
Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the LORD means safety. — Proverbs 29:25 (NLT) Don’t look to people to validate your worth or evaluate how well you are doing. Our heavenly Father created us wonderful and with purpose. He chose us before He created the foundation of the world and He has good plans for each one of us. Let us humble ourselves before the LORD and He will lift us up in due time. May we surrender our will to His will and His ways. Confidently trust in the LORD and do good. And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. — Psalm 9:10 (AMP)

Press On!

Image
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. — Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT) Instead of waiting for a future event or regretting past mistakes, focus on today and what the LORD is asking of you today. Today is the day the LORD has made. He is a very present and well-proved help for what you need today. Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” (Hebrews 3:15 NLT)

Recognize His Care

Image
Listen, O heavens! Pay attention, earth! This is what the LORD says: “The children I raised and cared for have rebelled against me. Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care— but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.” — Isaiah 1:2-3 (NLT) May we always recognize the care of our Heavenly Father. He saw us before we were born and knit us together in the womb of our mothers. (See Psalm 139:13-16) The LORD woke us up this morning and He sustains us with the breath of life. Our mighty God hears the cries of His children and He comes to the rescue. He is mindful of us, and graciously cares for us. The Lord is our Helper and our Savior. (See Psalm 40:17 NLT) Blessed be the Lord who carries our heavy loads every day, the True God who is our salvation. (Psalm 68:19 VOICE) He lets us lie down in green pastures; He leads us beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores our souls (lives); He leads us in the paths of

Never Shaken

Image
The [consistently] righteous will never be shaken, but the wicked will not inhabit the earth. — Proverbs 10:30 (AMP) I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:8 AMP) God alone is my rock and my salvation, my defense and my strong tower; I will not be shaken or disheartened. (See Psalm 62:1-2 AMP) Be strengthened and encouraged in your faith. Do not be shaken by the troubles you are going through. But know that we are destined for such troubles, just as Jesus warned us that troubles would come (See John 16:33), and they did, as you well know. (See 1 Thessalonians 3:2-4 NLT) However, remember what Jesus said: “ In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order. ” (John 16:33 VOICE) In Him, we have the victory. Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall,

Trust

Image
Why, then, do you, Jacob, inheritors of God’s promise, you, Israel, chosen of God—
Why do you say, “My troubled path is hidden from the Eternal; God has lost all interest in My cause”? Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The Eternal, the Everlasting God,
The Creator of the whole world, never gets tired or weary. His wisdom is beyond understanding. God strengthens the weary and gives vitality to those worn down by age and care. — Isaiah 40:27-29 (VOICE) We all trust in someone or something? The wise person trusts in God. Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD God is the eternal Rock. (Isaiah 26:4 NLT) Trust Him to provide what you need when you need it. He is our faithful Father and constant Companion, Who lavishes His love upon us each and every day. Never let undesirable circumstances cause you to doubt God's love or His faithfulness.  … those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [

Don't be Surprised

Image
Dear ones, don’t be surprised when you experience your trial by fire. It is not something strange and unusual, but it is something you should rejoice in. In it you share the Anointed’s sufferings, and you will be that much more joyful when His glory is revealed. — 1 Peter 4:12-13 (NASB) Now I’m sure of this: the sufferings we endure now are not even worth comparing to the glory that is coming and will be revealed in us. For all of creation is waiting, yearning for the time when the children of God will be revealed. (Romans 8:18-19 VOICE) You see, the short-lived pains of this life are creating for us an eternal glory that does not compare to anything we know here. So we do not set our sights on the things we can see with our eyes. All of that is fleeting; it will eventually fade away. Instead, we focus on the things we cannot see, which live on and on. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 VOICE) Don't let the fleeting challenges of this world distract you away from our great and mighty God Who i

Focus

Image
[looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity]… — Hebrews 12:2 (AMP) God never told us to examine our problems and figure out how we were going to handle them. Instead, look to the Lord and focus on His Presence with you. He is where our help comes from. The Word of God doesn’t tell us keep our eyes on the stock market and monitor every move, or on social media or the constantly negative news. Look away from all the distractions and look to Him who provided for the prophet Elijah in the wilderness by having ravens bring him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. (See 1 Kings 17:6) Look to Jehovah Jireh. He is our Provider and the very Source of all we need.

Great is His Faithfulness

Image
It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP) The loyal love of the LORD never ends! And His favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning. (See Psalm 30:5 NLT/NASB) He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. (Ephesians 1:7 NLT) Trust in His faithfulness and let your heart rejoice in His salvation. (See Psalm 13:5 NASB) “ The LORD is my portion and my inheritance ,” says my soul; “ Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him. ” (Lamentations 3:24 AMP) Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, and my dwelling will be in the house of the LORD forever. (Psalm 23:6 NASB)

The Father of Lights

Image
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. — James 1:17 (NASB) Let us thank God for every good and perfect gift that He gives us on a daily basis. He is gracious and generous and He never changes. He is the Father of lights. God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. (See 1 John 1:5 NASB1995) He called us OUT of darkness INTO His marvelous light. (See 1 Peter 2:9 AMP) Come out! May we continually abide in His light, the light of His love and joy. And walk in the light of wisdom and truth. The darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining. (1 John 2:8 NASB1995) His light shows us The Way: Jesus! He is the only Way to God (John 14:6) and He is the most perfect gift to humanity of all time. He is the Truth and the Life. Receive Him into your heart and mind today. …And to those who are in [spiritual] darkness, ‘Show yourselves [come into the light of the

What's On Your Mind?

Image
But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” — Mark 8:33 (NKJV) Let the light of God’s Word permeate the crevices of your mind, so you can be mindful of the things of God. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes]… (See Romans 12:2 AMP) Colossians 3:2 (NASB1995) instructs us to set our minds on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, (Romans 8:6 NASB1995). …let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. — Ephesians 4:23 (NLT)

What Are You Eating?

Image
Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (AMP) Feed on the faithfulness of our heavenly Father. Then you will be strong and confident in the LORD, full of peace, love and joy. When we feed on the consistently negative news of this world, anxieties and fears multiply within us. When we continually feast on the desires of our flesh, it eventually leads to emptiness, dissatisfaction and discouragement. Feed your heart, mind and soul with the goodness of our mighty God. He is with us, He loves us and He is forever faithful to take care of His people. Nothing we go through in this world can compare to the glory that awaits us for all eternity. Continue to do good and let God take care of the rest.
