Constant Peace

Image
You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) Dedicate your heart and mind to El Elyon, the God Most High. Don’t worry or be anxious about anything. Instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (See Philippians 4:6-7) The LORD will keep in constant peace, those whose minds are faithfully focused on Him. Live with hope and the confident expectation that our mighty God will work everything that happens in your life, together for good. Amen. “Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner],
for the LORD God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Brought Together

Image
That God is on one side and all the people on the other side, and Christ Jesus, himself man, is between them to bring them together, by giving his life for all mankind. This is the message that at the proper time God gave to the world . — 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (TLB) Christ Jesus united God and humanity. In John 17:22-23 (AMP), Jesus said: “I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me.” In Jesus, we live and move and have our being. (See Acts 17:28) Let us live in constant connection and communion, with Jesus, Abba Father and the Holy Spirit. Apart from this vital union we can do nothing, of any lasting value.

God is Near

Image
The Eternal sustains all who stumble on their way. For those who are broken down, God is near. He raises them up in hope. — Psalm 145:14 (VOICE) It is good to draw near to God and put your trust in the LORD God. (See Psalm 73:28 NLT) For what great nation has a god as near to them as the LORD our God is near to us whenever we call on him? (Deuteronomy 4:7 NLT) We have nothing to fear, because God is near. When we understand the perfect love of God, it drives out all fear. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NKJV) Continually draw near to our great and mighty God. He is near and He always takes care of His people. We thank you, O God! We give thanks because you are near. — Psalm 75:1a (NLT)

Bless the LORD

Image
“ With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God! Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky! ” — Psalms 103:1-5 (TPT) Higher than the highest heavens— that’s how high your tender mercy extends! Greater than the grandeur of heaven above is the greatness of your loyal love, towering over all who fear you and bow down before you! (Psalm 103:11 TPT) …the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his command

Stay Focused

Image
We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! — Hebrews 12:2 (TPT) Look away from the natural realm and all of its distractions. Let us focus our attention on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. He leads us forward, to the glorious destination the Father has for us. And He empowers us to fulfill the Father’s purpose and plan for our lives. Stay focused on Jesus, as your first love, and wholeheartedly follow Him, at all times. What or who, we choose to give our attention to, greatly impacts our lives. In Luke 11:34 (AMP), Jesus said: “ The eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is clear [spiritually perceptive, focused on God], your

God is Great!

Image
The Eternal is great and deserves endless praise; His greatness knows no limit, recognizes no boundary. No one can measure or comprehend His magnificence. — Psalm 145:3 (VOICE) For I know that the LORD is great and that our Lord is above all gods. (Psalm 135:5 AMP) He is great in might and power. He has great mercy and great grace. Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. (Psalm 105:1 NLT) The Eternal is gracious. He shows mercy to His people. For Him anger does not come easily, but faithful love does—and it is rich and abundant. But the Eternal’s goodness is not exclusive—it is offered freely to all. His mercy extends to all His creation. (Psalm 145:8-9 VOICE) Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow. (Lamentations 3:32-33 NLT) We confess—there is nothing greater than You, God, nothing mightier than Your awesome work

Sure & Fearless

Image
God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help. So why run and hide? No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. — Psalm 46:1-2 (VOICE) “So why would I fear the future? Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!” (Psalms 23:6 TPT) For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity]. (Philippians 1:21 AMP) The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God’s voice thunders, and the earth melts! The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.   Interlude — Psalm (46:6-7 NLT)

Celebrate His Goodness!

Image
So my conclusion is this: Many are the sorrows and frustrations of those who don’t come clean with God. But when you trust in the Lord for forgiveness, his wraparound love will surround you. So celebrate the goodness of God! He shows this kindness to everyone who is his. Go ahead—shout for joy, all you upright ones who want to please him! — Psalm 32:10-11 (TPT) How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who [reverently] fear You, which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You, before the sons of man! (Psalm 31:19 AMP) If we repent and confess our sins to God, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. (See 1 John 1:9 & 5:17) Rejoice in His goodness and grace! Believe that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (See Psalm 27:13)  Surely His goodness and unfailing love will pursue you all the days of your life,
and you will live in the house of the LORD forever. (See Psalm 23:6 NLT)

Trust in His Name

Image
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. — Psalm 20:7 (AMP) Always remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. For the Eternal will be a shelter for those who know misery, a refuge during troubling times. (Psalm 9:9 VOICE) And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10 AMP) I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are helpless take heart. (Psalm 34:2 NLT) Our help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (See Psalm 121:2) He is Elohim, our Creator, the all-powerful One who created the universe. Rely on Adonai, our majestic Lord and the owner of our lives. Trust in the name of the God Most High. He reigns supreme over all. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57) Amen.

Intimately Aware

Image
You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. — Psalms 139:3-4 (TPT) You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. (Psalms 139:15 TPT) Lord, you know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. (Psalm 130:1-2 TPT) Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. It’s impossible to disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me, for your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night. (Psalms 139:10-11 TPT) The Lord, our Maker, is intimately acquainted with you. Every single moment He is thinking of you! His thoughts about you outnumber the grains of sand. (See Psalm 139:17-18) Let

Just Come!

Image
I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” — Psalms 32:8-9 (TPT) Jesus said, “ Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest .” (Matthew 11:28 NKJV) When He says: “ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me …” it’s an invitation to be continually connected to Him, and to learn from Him as His disciple. (See Matthew 11:29 NASB) He never pushes us away. Jesus is always calling us to come closer to Him. He is Immanuel, God with us. We never have to run away from or attempt to hide from our mighty God. The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of l

Run For It!

Image
So don’t sit around on your hands! No more dragging your feet! Clear the path for long-distance runners so no one will trip and fall, so no one will step in a hole and sprain an ankle. Help each other out. And run for it!” — Hebrews 12:12-13 (MSG) So since we stand surrounded by all those who have gone before, an enormous cloud of witnesses, let us drop every extra weight, every sin that clings to us and slackens our pace, and let us run with endurance the long race set before us. (Hebrews 12:1 VOICE) It is a long distance race, so let us run with endurance and active persistence, looking away from all that will distract us.  Now stay focused on Jesus, who designed and perfected our faith. He endured the cross and ignored the shame of that death because He focused on the joy that was set before Him; and now He is seated beside God on the throne, a place of honor. (Hebrews 12:2 VOICE) Stay focused on the future joy that is to be ours.

Trust Completely

Image
Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. — Proverbs 3:5-6 (TPT) Human opinions will fluctuate, but the LORD’s plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken. (See Psalm 33:11 NLT) Don't fret. For the LORD knows the plans and thoughts He has for you. They are plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 AMP) Trust in the LORD and rely on Him in all situations. Put God first in everything you do, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success. A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. — Proverbs 16:9 (AMP)

Abide in Him

Image
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. — John 15:4 (NKJV) When we remain in Jesus, there is a sweet and glorious exchange. In John 16:33, Jesus said, in Him we may have peace. As we lay all our cares at His feet, we experience everlasting peace that is not shaken by the circumstances of this world. Psalm 16:11 says, in His presence is fullness of joy. As we remain in Him, He turns our mourning to joy. 1 John 4:16 (AMP) says, God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. As we remain in His love, the love of God is perfected in us. (See 1 John 4:12) May we live in constant connection to the vine, and the fruit of peace, joy and love will blossom in our hearts and greatly bless those around us.

What is Good?

Image
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you
except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), and to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]? — Micah 6:8 (NLT) What is good? The LORD is good. His faithful love endures forever (See Jeremiah 33:11 NLT) It is good to sing praises to our [gracious and majestic] God. (See Psalm 147:1 AMP) ...it is good for me to draw near to God. (See Psalm 73:28 NKJV) It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. (Psalm 92:1 NLT) It is good to proclaim His unfailing love in the morning, His faithfulness in the evening. (See Psalm 92:2 NLT) Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1 NKJV) How good and delightful is a word spoken at the right moment—how good it is! (See Proverbs 15:23 AMP) Let us depart from evil and do good. (See Psalm 34:14 NKJV) It is good

At The Right Time

Image
But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. — Galatians 4:4-5 (NLT) Everything comes to fruition, at just the right time, the time that has been appointed by God. Just as He sent Jesus, our heavenly Father has also sent us. We are the believers He has called to be here for such a time as this. Before Jesus came, God sent a man, John the Baptist, to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony. (John 1:6-7) We are a chosen people and children of Almighty God. Let us show others the goodness of God, for He called us out of the darkness and into His marvelous light. (See 1 Peter 2:9) It is not time for us to whine and complain about how dark the world is. Now is the right time for us to proclaim the praises of Him who called us, so that everyone in our generation might believe. May we let His light and

Never Shaken

Image
Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken.” — Isaiah 28:16 (NLT) Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Jesus the Christ. (See John 14:1) He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. (Psalm 62:2 NLT) Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the chief cornerstone.’ (See Acts 4:11) Build your lives on Him. He is a strong and sure foundation. I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. — Psalm 16:8 (NASB)

He Rescues

Image
For troubles surround me— too many to count! My sins pile up so high I can’t see my way out. They outnumber the hairs on my head. I have lost all courage. — Psalm 40:12 (NLT) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you (1 Peter 4:12 NLT). In John 16:33 (NLT), Jesus said: “ Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. ” We can take courage because in Jesus, we too shall overcome. Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all. (Psalm 34:19 AMP) The LORD rescues the godly; he is their fortress in times of trouble. (Psalm 37:39 NLT) As for sin, if we confess our sins to Him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. (See 1 John 1:9) When temptation comes, God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tem

Rely Only On God

Image
We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-10 (NLT) No matter what troubles you go through, continue to rely on God to see you through. Always put your hope in the LORD. Travel steadily along his path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed. (See Psalms 37:34 NLT)

Equipped for Today

Image
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let’s rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB) We can rejoice and take comfort in the fact that our heavenly Father made this day for each one of us. This day is already written in His book, so whatever we face today, He has gone before us and made a way. The LORD has equipped you and empowered you to do what He has called you to do today. Abide in Christ and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. He will show you the way and the right time. For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT)  You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. — Proverbs 19:21 (NLT)

He is Faithful

Image
...and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He made us into a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. — Revelation 1:5-6 (NASB) Therefore know [without any doubt] and understand that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who is keeping His covenant and His [steadfast] lovingkindness to a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; (Deuteronomy 7:9 AMP) He is faithful to make a way when there seems to be no way. No matter what challenging circumstances we encounter, He is faithful to work everything together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (See Romans 8:28 NLT). Be faithful and partner with Jesus for life. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our L

What Do You Treasure?

Image
“ Don’t keep hoarding for yourselves earthly treasures that can be stolen by thieves. Material wealth eventually rusts, decays, and loses its value. Instead, stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust, decay, or lose their value. For your heart will always pursue what you esteem as your treasure. ” — Matthew 6:19-21 (TPT) As we are in the process of discarding our material possessions in preparation for our move, I can tell you that earthly goods truly are rubbish. Let us pursue heavenly treasures: loving God, His Presence, and His Word. Cultivate genuine friendships and healthy relationships. They are more valuable than any trinkets or collectibles. May we cherish time spent with loved ones, and invest in lives being touched and transformed, as the Spirit of God works through us to draw others to Jesus. These are true heavenly riches! The Message Bible says: The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up b

Be Fruitful

Image
…walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to [fully] please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts]; — Colossians 1:10 (AMP)   We are called to fulfill the purpose for which our Heavenly Father created us. Whatever He has given us to do, we are are on assignment . For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10 NLT) So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. (2 Thessalonians 1:11 NLT) [we pray that you may be] strengthened and invigorated with all power, according to His glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy; (Colossians 1:11 A

Be Active

Image
You, therefore, will be perfect [growing into spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into your daily life], as your heavenly Father is perfect. — Matthew 5:48 (AMP) We are to actively participate in our growth toward maturity. Meditate on the Word day and night. Renew your mind (focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes), so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (See Romans 12:2 NASB/AMP) May we strip off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, and let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focus our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith. (See Hebrews 12:1-2 AMP) He Who began a good work in us is faithful to complete it. Amen.

An Everlasting Kingdom

Image
And to Him (the Messiah) was given dominion (supreme authority), glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and speakers of every language should serve and worship Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed. — Daniel 7:14 (AMP) Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. (Psalm 37:1-2 NKJV) The kingdoms of this world are temporary, but as believers, we are citizens of the Kingdom of God and His Kingdom has everlasting dominion and supreme authority, over all. “...when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. Then the King will

Open Up

Image
Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty;
the LORD, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates!
 Open up, ancient doors,
and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory?
  The LORD of Heaven’s Armies—
he is the King of glory.   Interlude   — Psalm 24:7-10 (NLT) Open up your hearts, children of God, that the King of glory may come in! Learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. (See 1 Chronicles 28:9 NLT)  Jesus said: “ Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me .” (Revelation 3:20 NASB) He prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. He anoints and refreshes your head with oil; your cup will overflow. (See Psalm 23:5 AMP) Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor a

Our Safe Place

Image
Keep me safe, O mighty God. I run to you, my safe place. I said to Yahweh, “You are my Maker and my Master. Any good thing you find in me has come from you.” — Psalms 16:1-2 (TPT) Run to the God Most High. He is our safe place. “Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you!” (Psalms 16:5-6 TPT) Choose God first, just as He chose you, before He laid the foundation of the earth. When the enemy shames you and makes you want to hide from God, run even faster to our heavenly Father. His arms are open wide to embrace you and hold you close to Him. “The way you counsel me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because I set you, Yahweh, always close to me, my confidence will never be weakened, for I experience your wraparound presence

God of Restoration

Image
“ So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you .” — J oel 2:25 (NKJV) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; (1 Peter 4:12 NASB). There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven— (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NASB1995) Psalm 119:71 (NLT) says: My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees. We will endure some trials and troubles. We will experience suffering and pain, but know that our great and mighty God is a God of restoration. So after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation. (See 1 Peter 5:10) Psalm 23:3a (AMP) says: He refreshes and restores my soul (life). Job endured much suff

It Is Good

Image
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, — Psalm 92:1-2 (NLT) Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100:4-5 NASB1995) In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; (1 Thessalonians 5:17 AMP). The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. (Psalm 25:8 NLT) But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord God my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. (Psalm 73:28 AMP) Hope continually in the LORD, and praise Him more and more. (See Psalm 71:14)  How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who [reverently] fear You, which You have pr

Be On Fire

Image
“I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!” — Revelation 3:16 (NLT) In Revelation 2:4 (AMP), Jesus said: “But I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me].” You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. (Revelation 3:17 NLT) In Matthew 24:12, when describing the end of the age, Jesus said the love of many will grow cold. May we fervently love the LORD our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind. And keep our hearts on fire for our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.

No Turning Back

Image
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. — Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT) Leave the old life behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead. God is calling us to a higher place, a deeper place, in Him. Remember Lot’s wife. She looked back, when being rescued, and became a pillar of salt. (See Genesis 19:17&26) Nothing good comes out of trying to hold onto something God has called us out of. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12 NASB1995) The mercies of the LORD begin afresh each morning. (See Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT) Press on toward the goal. No turning back. “ Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderne
