Don't Stray

Image
All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. — Isaiah 53:6 (NASB1995) May we never stray away from Yahweh. There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. (Proverbs 14:12 NLT) He will show us the path of life. (See Psalm 16:11a AMP) In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. (Proverbs 12:28 NASB1995) …the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. (Proverbs 4:18 NASB1995) When we are teachable, He will make His ways known to us, and guide us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (See Psalm 23:3 & 25:4 NASB1995) Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:6 NLT) Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil. (Proverbs 4:27 NLT)  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him retur

God is Faithful

Image
Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; — Hebrews 10:23 (AMP) God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9 AMP) Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: (Hebrews 10:35-36 NKJV) Let us exercise patient endurance, and bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising…  (See Hebrews 10:36 AMP). …know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; (Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV) Don't wonder waver, or wander. Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfu

He Comforts You

Image
“ I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies and of the son of man who is made like grass, that you have forgotten the LORD your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth… ” — Isaiah 51:12-13 (NASB1995) Always remember Elohim, our Creator. Yahweh is a God of patience and comfort. (See Romans 15:5 NKJV) When doubts fill your mind, His comfort will give you renewed hope and cheer. (See Psalm 94:19 NLT) He comforts the downcast. (See 2 Corinthians 7:6 NASB1995) Second Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV) says, He is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT) If you are in need of comfort, draw near to Yahweh, the very source of all that we need. If you are comforted, share the comfort of our Heavenly Father with someone who needs it. Shout for joy, O he

Hold Fast

Image
…Christ is faithful as a Son over His [Father’s] house. And we are His house if we hold fast our confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ]. — Hebrews 3:6 (AMP) Let us not grow weary or discouraged. For we [believers] have become partakers of Christ [sharing in all that the Messiah has for us], if only we hold firm our newborn confidence [which originally led us to Him] until the end,  (Hebrews 3:14 AMP) Never let go of the hope that is set before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. (Hebrews 6:19 NLT) This hope [this confident assurance]… cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it. (See Hebrews 6:19 AMP) Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. (See 1 Corinthians 16:13)

There is No Other

Image
“ I am the LORD, and there is no one else; There is no God except Me. I will embrace and arm you, though you have not known Me, that people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun [the world over] that there is no one except Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other… ” — Isaiah 45:5-6 (AMP) In Isaiah 45:12 (NLT) the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command. In Isaiah 45:22-23 (NASB1995) He says: “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.” “I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols.” (Isaiah 42:8 HCSB) Let your trust and hope rest on Him. Set your affection and allegiance on Yahweh. H

He Strengthens You

Image
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ — Isaiah 41:10 (NASB1995) Have no fear for Yahweh is with when you pass through the waters, He will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For He is the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; He makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters. (See Isaiah 43:2-3a & 43:16 NASB1995)  The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. — Psalm 28:7 (NASB1995)

Spread it Before the LORD

Image
And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. Then Hezekiah prayed to the LORD… — Isaiah 37:14-15 (NKJV) After Hezekiah received word of the threats of his enemy (See Isaiah 36:13-20 & 37:10-13), he took it to the LORD. When you are assaulted with lies and threats from the enemy, turn to Yahweh. Our enemy is the father of lies (see John 8:44), therefore all the words that he speaks are lies. Do not be anxious or fearful. Put your trust in the God Most High. Like Hezekiah, acknowledge that Yahweh alone is enthroned above the cherubim. He is the God of all earthly kingdoms and Creator of heaven and earth. (See Isaiah 37:16) He is able to deliver us from the hand of our enemies, just as He delivered Hezekiah and the city of Judah. Isaiah 37:36-37 says, the angel of the LORD struck 185,000 in the enemy’s camp, and when the surviving men arose early in the morning, all these w

Fight the Good Fight

Image
…fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith. — 1 Timothy 1:18-19 (NASB1995) We fight the good fight of faith by setting our minds on things above, not on the things that are on earth. (See Colossians 3:2) Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (See Matthew 6:33) But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:9,6:11 NASB1995)  Stay away from every kind of evil. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. (See 1 Thessalonians 5:22 & Colossians 3:17 NLT)

The Stability of Our Times

Image
And He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is his treasure. — Isaiah 33:6 (NASB1995) The current state of the world may be chaotic, turbulent and volatile, but Yahweh is the security and stability of our times. Isaiah 33:6  (VOICE) says: God will be what holds things together, fast and firm during these times. He is our strong foundation and His kingdom will not be shaken. May we know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make us wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (See 2 Timothy 3:15) There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. (See Acts 4:12 NLT) He is indeed the Savior of the world. The government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. (See Isaiah 9:6) Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Rejoice in the Lord Always!

Image
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. — Philippians  4:4-5 (NASB1995) How often are we to rejoice? The Word says to rejoice at ALL times. Why? Because the Lord is near! The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NLT) Don’t be anxious for anything because our awesome God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (See Philippians 4:6 & 4:19) Let us be filled with joy that God rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son and of His kingdom there will be no end. (See Colossians 1:3 & Luke 1:33) His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion endures throughout all generations. (See Psalm 145:13) We can rejoice that whether we live or die we belong to the Lord.  If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. (See Romans 14:8) …to live is

Take Refuge

Image
Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge until destruction passes by. I will cry to God Most High, to God who accomplishes all things for me. — Psalm 57:1-2 (NASB1995) In Hosea 11:9 the LORD says,  “…I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst…” He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; (See Acts 17:25) He is not far from each one of us. (See Acts 17:27) He knows when we sit down and when we rise up. He understands our thoughts from afar. He scrutinizes our paths and our lying down. He is intimately acquainted with all our ways. Even before we speak a word, He knows it all. If we should count His thoughts toward us, they would outnumber the sand. (See Psalm 139:1-4, 17-18 NASB1995) The great “I AM” is with us and He will fulfill His purpose for us. His plans for us are good. Take refuge in the shadow of His wings. For everything comes from him and exists by his power and i

Press on to Know the LORD

Image
“Listen to the word of the LORD, O sons of Israel, for the LORD has a case against the inhabitants of the land, because there is no faithfulness or kindness or knowledge of God in the land. There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed.” — Hosea 4:1-2 (NASB1995) Sounds like the state of affairs in the world today. Come, let us return to the LORD! In Hosea 4:6 (NLT), the LORD says: “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me.” So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] LORD [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn, and He will come to us [in salvation] like the [heavy] rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 AMP) “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in lovingkindness and in compassion

Be Captivated by Christ

Image
Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” — Daniel 3:16-18 (NASB1995) Our attitude and mindset should be similar to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego before they were thrown into the fiery furnace. Know that our God is able to deliver us. Let us trust Yahweh to deliver us from all of our fiery furnace experiences. And no matter what happens, do not serve or compromise with the principles of this world, nor follow the traditions of men. See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than a

Perfect & Constant Peace

Image
You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], for the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. — Isaiah 26:3-4 (AMP) May we keep our ears and minds closed to the lies of the enemy. As our minds stay focused on Yahweh and His goodness, we will experience perfect and constant peace, because we trust and take refuge in Him. How great is our God! We can trust in the LORD forever. He is the God Most High, the all-powerful One. Trust confidently in Him. Never doubt that Yahweh will come through for you.  Let us take every thought captive. If a thought doesn't line up with the Holy Scriptures and the loving nature of our heavenly Father, cast it down. God is our Helper and the sustainer of our souls (See Psa

He Directs Our Steps

Image
I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD. — Psalm 40:1-3 (NKJV) We may plan our way, as we journey through life, but it is the LORD Who directs our steps and establishes them. Psalm 37:23 (NLT) says: He delights in every detail of our lives. Even though we get tripped up, we will not fall on our faces, because the LORD holds us by the hand. (See Proverbs 16:9 AMP & Psalm 37:23-24 VOICE) When you don't know what to do, seek His guidance. Yahweh will make known to you the path that leads to life. He not only directs our steps, He also gives us strength for the journey.  Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar hig

The Called & Chosen

Image
“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” — Revelation 17:14 (NASB1995) In his kindness, the God of all grace, called us to His eternal glory in Christ. (See 1 Peter 5:10) He called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. We are a chosen generation. (See 1 Peter 2:9) Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4 NLT) Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. (Psalm 33:12 NKJV)  We are the called and chosen, may we be faithful to Yahweh and obey His Word. Let us be faithful followers of Christ, all of our days. Ensure that He is always your first love. In Revelation 2:10 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triu

So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. … let us not criticize one another anymore, but rather determine this—not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block or a source of temptation in another believer’s way. — Romans 14:12-13 (AMP) ...for the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking [what one likes], but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 AMP) So then, let us pursue [with enthusiasm] the things which make for peace and the building up of one another [things which lead to spiritual growth]. (Romans 14:19 AMP) So encourage each other and build each other up... (See 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT) Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak]. (Ephesians 4:29 AMP) Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just

Arise & Shine

Image
“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD]; for your light has come, and the glory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1 (AMP) Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. (Psalm 20:7-8 NLT) For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. (Proverbs 24:16 NKJV) “But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me.” (Micah 7:7-8 NASB1995) For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. (Isaiah 60:2 NKJV) Darkness may cover the earth, but the marv

His Plans are Good

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) No matter what obstacles or challenges stand before you today, know with absolute confidence that the plans Yahweh has for you are good, not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11) The troubles you see today will come to pass. And our great and mighty God will work everything together for good. Second Corinthians 4:17 (NLT) says: our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares about you. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11)

Hear the Word

Image
“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord GOD, “When I will send a famine on the land, not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, but rather for hearing the words of the LORD.” — Amos 8:11 (NASB1995) May we keep our ears open to hear the word of the LORD, while we have the opportunity. For the word of God is living, active and full of power… (See Hebrews 4:12 AMP) The word which goes forth from the mouth of the LORD, will not return to Him empty, without accomplishing what He desires, and without succeeding in the matter for which He sent it. (See Isaiah 55:11) But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. (James 1:22 AMP) Jesus replied, “It is written and forever remains written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’” — Matthew 4:4 (AMP

See Clearly

Image
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, — Romans 1:20-22 (NASB1995) May you have eyes that see clearly, and a heart that seeks to know Him. Honor God, Who is worthy of all our praise, and give thanks to Him for all He has done, is doing and will do. For behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind and declares to man what are His thoughts, He who makes dawn into darkness and treads on the high places of the earth, the LORD God of hosts is His name. (Amos 4:13 NASB1995) Seek the LORD of hosts that you may live. (See Amos 5:4) Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entire

Trust God

Image
When I am afraid, I will put my trust and faith in You. In God, whose word I praise; In God I have put my trust; I shall not fear. What can mere man do to me? — Psalm 56:3-4 (AMP) …God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7 NLT) And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. (See 1 John 4:17-18 NLT) Keep your heart open to Yahweh and receive His perfect love, which He continually lavishes upon all His children. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God, that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (See Romans 8:38-39) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7 AMP) Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8 NASB1995) Nothing is too difficult for Him. Let us praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His

Lead Me to the Rock

Image
From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. — Psalm 61:2 (NKJV) Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], for the LORD God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. (Isaiah 26:4 AMP) He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. (Psalm 62:2 NKJV) There is no one holy like the LORD, there is no one besides You, there is no Rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:2 AMP) Remember that God is our rock, and the Most High God our Redeemer. (See Psalm 78:35) Let us be like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. (See Luke 6:48 NKJV) For His name’s sake He will lead you and guide you. (See Psalm 31:3)

Be Gracious & Compassionate

Image
He prayed to the LORD and said, “Please LORD, was not this what I said while I was still in my own country? Therefore in order to forestall this I fled to Tarshish, for I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity. — Jonah 4:2 (NASB1995) The LORD instructed Jonah to go and preach to Nineveh, instead, he went in the opposite direction to get away from the LORD. (See Jonah 1:3 NLT) What a futile pursuit to try to escape His Presence. The ship he boarded encountered a storm, and Jonah had the men throw him into the sea. The LORD had a great fish swallow Jonah. (See Jonah 1:4,12,17) Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from inside the fish. Then the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah up onto the dry land. (See Jonah 2:1,10) This series of events, came about because of Jonah’s disobedience, and hard heart toward his enemies. In Jonah 3:1-2 (NLT), the LORD spoke to Jonah a second time: “Get

Remember [what happened to] Lot’s wife [when she looked back]! — Luke 17:32 (AMP) When Lot and his family were being rescued from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot’s wife looked back, after being warned by the angels not to look back. They were told to escape to the mountains, or they would be swept away. But his wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. (See Genesis 19:15-17,19:26) Don’t look back on that low, valley living with regret, or longing. Let go of any anger and bitterness from past wrongs. In Isaiah 42:9 (AMP), the LORD says: “ Indeed, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you. ” Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 AMP) His ways and His thoughts are

IN the Presence of the LORD

Image
The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.  — Psalm 97:5 (NKJV) Mountains turn into molehills, in the Presence of Yahweh. He is bigger and more powerful than any mountain that stands before you. May we abide in His Presence, at all times. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. (See Psalm 91:1 AMP) In His Presence is fullness of joy; at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalm 16:11 NKJV) What pleasures? The delight that a child has knowing the Papa is near. We have peace, protection, power and strength, in His Presence, just to name a few.   Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) says, He will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on Him. Second Samuel 22:2-3 (NLT) says: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is

"Well Done!"

Image
“So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’” — Matthew 25:20-21 (NKJV) When we come to the end of our race, I believe we all want to hear Jesus say: “Well done, good and faithful servant!” Therefore, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance and active persistence the race God has set before us. (Hebrews 12:1)  In this parable that Jesus told, the lord said the same thing to the servant who made 2 talents, as he did to the servant who earned 5 more talents. Our Lord desires for us to use the talents He has given us. We do not want to be like the third servant who because of fear, buried his talent in th

The King of Glory

Image
Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah — Psalm 24:9-10 (NKJV) The earth is the LORD’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. (Psalm 24:1-2 NASB1995) He gives to all people, life and breath and all things. (See Acts 17:25) …for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him. (1 Corinthians 8:6 NASB1995) May we be a generation of those who diligently seek Him, who continually seek His face. Require Him as your greatest need. (See Psalm 24:6 AMP) Open up the door of your heart to Him today. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the presen

More with Us

Image
Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” — 2 Kings 6:15 (NASB1995) The King of Aram had sent a great army by night to surround the city. However, Elisha said to his servant, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (2 Kings 6:16-17 NASB1995)  When it seems as though you are surrounded by the enemy, may your eyes be opened to see that there are more on our side than theirs. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. (Psalm 125:2 NASB1995) Psalm 5:12 says, the LORD surrounds the righteous with favor as with a shield. We ov

Thirst for More of Him

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.
