Trust at All Times

Image
Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. — Psalm 62:8 (AMP) Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, (Habakkuk 3:17 AMP), continue to trust Yahweh. Just as in Genesis 22:14, The-LORD-Will-Provide. As warnings arise about food shortages, and dwindling resources, continue to trust in the goodness of our great God. Trust in His faithfulness. He is a good and faithful Father who ALWAYS takes care of His children. He fed the Israelites for 40 years in the desert by providing manna from heaven. In the midst of the famine, in the land of Canaan, He provided resources and protection for His people, in the land of Goshen, through Joseph. (See Genesis 40) When the prophet Elijah was in the wilderness, the LORD sent ravens to bring him bread and

Do Good

Image
Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (AMP) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21) What is good? It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; (Psalm 92:1)  Micah 6:8 (NLT) says: …the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. The Amplified Bible adds: …setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness. Psalm 34:14 (NKJV) instructs us to depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being], and especially [b

Rejoice in the LORD

Image
May all who are godly rejoice in the LORD and praise his holy name! — Psalm 97:12 (NLT) Psalm 68:3 (NLT) says to let the godly rejoice and be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy. In His Presences is fullness of joy. (See Psalm 16:11 NKJV) Not half-filled or almost filled, but filled to overflowing. If you lack joy, spend some more time in His Presence. Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Interlude Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death. (Psalm 68:19-20 NLT) When should we be glad? First Thessalonians 5:16 (NLT) says, always be joyful. Regardless of the external circumstances, may we our hearts be forever full of gratitude and appreciation for all that YAHWEH has provided, and even more so, for the great and awesome God that He is.  This is the day which the LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.. (Psalm 118:24 NASB1995) It’s our choice to rejoice. Choose every day that YAHWEH gives you,

Approach His Throne

Image
Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. — Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) …to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.” (Hebrews 1:8 NKJV) …We have a High Priest who sat down in the place of honor beside the throne of the majestic God in heaven. There he ministers in the heavenly Tabernacle, the true place of worship that was built by the Lord and not by human hands. (Hebrews 8:1-2 NLT)  The throne of our gracious God endures forever. Approach His throne of grace, with confidence and a humble heart, and abide there. Receive His mercy, and accept His help. His mercies never cease, they begin afresh each morning. (See Lamentations 3:22-23)

Lasting Satisfaction

Image
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. — Psalm 63:3-5 (NLT) While the thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy, Yeshua said, His purpose is to give us a rich and satisfying life. (See John 10:10 NLT) Material things can never bring permanent satisfaction. Our joy, peace and lasting satisfaction is found in continual fellowship with Yeshua, our Lord and Savior. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. (Galatians 6:8 NLT) So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. (1 Peter 1:14 NLT)  Hebrews 13:5 (NLT) says: Don’t love money; be satisfied wi

Our Refuge

Image
Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy. — Psalm 61:1-3 (NASB1995) Yahweh is our protection from the fiery darts of the wicked one. He alone is our refuge, our place of safety; He is an impenetrable fortress from our enemies. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers us from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. (See Psalm 91:1-3 NASB1995) Make the LORD, your refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. (See Psalm 91:9,14) You’ve always given me breathing room, a place to get away from it all,
a lifetime pass to your safe-house, an open invitation as your guest. You’ve always taken me seriously, God, made me welcome among those wh

Where Do You Turn?

Image
About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to visit him. He gave the king this message: “This is what the LORD says: ‘Set your affairs in order, for you are going to die. You will not recover from this illness.’” When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, — Isaiah 38:1-2 (NLT) Where do you turn when troubles and trials are upon you? Hezekiah turned to YAHWEH. The LORD God of Heaven’s Armies, heard Hezekiah’s prayer and seen his tears. He sent Isaiah back to King Hezekiah and said He will add 15 years to his life and rescue him from his enemies. (See Isaiah 38:4-6) Turn to YAHWEH. In Him is our healing and our help. He is our only hope. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. (Isaiah 55:7 NLT) Turn toward YAHWEH and receive grace, mercy and forgiveness for your

True Peace

Image
You will keep the peace, a perfect peace, for all who trust in You, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to You. — Isaiah 26:3 (VOICE) True peace is not found in material riches, behind a gate-guarded community, or in any other set of favorable external circumstances. This is all temporary. We find true peace when we continually trust in YAHWEH,  the everlasting God (El Olam). It is the LORD who gives His people strength and blesses us with peace. (See Psalm 29:11) He keeps in perfect and constant peace those whose hearts are committed to Him and whose minds are set on Him.
Trust YAHWEH and take refuge in Him, with hope and confident expectation. Depend on God and keep at it because in the LORD God you have a sure thing. (See Isaiah 26:3-6 MSG) Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. — 2 Thessalo

Follow Him

Image
So Peter seeing him said to Jesus, “Lord, and what about this man?” Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!” — John 21:21-22 (NASB1995) Peter asked the Lord about another disciple, but Yeshua re-directed his attention back to the main thing, following Him. Sometimes we try to evaluate someone else’s walk with Yahweh. However, the Word of God says to fix our eyes on Yeshua and follow Him. Not to worry about how another person is running their race.  Likewise, we shouldn’t be worried about what other people think about how we are running our race. This will cause us to be defensive and sometimes stop us from fulfilling our mission and purpose, for fear of what others may think. We are to focus on doing what our Heavenly Father called us to do and know that our walk is unique. We each have a different course to complete, however, as members of one body, they lead us to unity and eternal life in Christ. Yahweh will show us the path of

Never Shaken

Image
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. — Psalm 62:1-2 (NLT) Praise YAHWEH! Our help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (See Psalm 121:3 NKJV) And He has provided victory for us through our Lord and Savior, Yeshua. Let all that you are wait quietly before God, for our hope is in him. He alone is our rock and our salvation, our fortress where we will not be shaken. Our victory and honor come from God alone. He is our refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach us. (See Psalm 62:5-7 NLT) Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalm 62:8 AMP) Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken.” (Isaiah 28:16 NLT) Hallelujah! And amen.

Be Thankful

Image
in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.  — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP) In the midst of every situation and circumstance, always be thankful. We can choose to be thankful, even though we may be hard-pressed on every side by troubles, yet we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but we are not driven to despair. (See 2 Corinthians 4:8) Christ in us, is the hope of glory. (See Colossians 1:27) Yahweh is faithful to deliver us from all of our troubles. In Christ, we have been given victory over this world, sin and death. Have a thankful heart because our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (See 2 Corinthians 4:17) Be grateful that His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness... (See 1 Peter 1:3) Do not cease to give thanks to Yahweh, Who gives us

He's Faithful

Image
Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]. — 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (AMP) YAHWEH is entirely faithful. When all others fail you, you can count on Him to stand with you. “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NLT) Stand on the Word of God, in all circumstances. His word which goes forth from His mouth will not return to Him empty, without accomplishing what He desires, and without succeeding in the matter for which He sent it. (See Isaiah 55:11) In Joshua 21:45, not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass. YAHWEH does not change. (See Malachi 3:6) If He said it, He will do it. He is a Promise Keeper. Be faithful as He who calls you is faithful. Closel

The Goodness of Yahweh

Image
Then the LORD came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and he called out his own name, Yahweh. The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin … — Exodus 34:5-7 (NLT) Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34 NKJV) Give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:8 NKJV) The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (Psalm 145:9 NKJV) His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations. (See Psalm 100:5 NASB1995) He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. (Psalm 33:5 NKJV) The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. (Psalm 25:8 NLT) T

Be Firmly Rooted

Image
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NASB1995) May we walk in union with Christ, our Savior, always reflecting His character in the things we do and say, and living lives that lead others away from sin. (See Colossians 2:6 AMP) Let the seed of the Holy Scriptures fall on the good soil of your heart, and you will be deeply rooted, and continually built up in Him. Those who hear and accept God’s word produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted! (See Mark 4:20 NLT)  How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, whic

Our Strength

Image
Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. — Psalm 73:23-26 (NKJV) Always rely on YAHWEH to be your strength. Let more of Him be the greatest desire of your heart. The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility]. (Habakkuk 3:19 AMP) No matter what challenges you face today, know that He is faithful to bring you through each and every one. He guides us with His wise counsel. In order to arrive at our desired destination, we must choose to listen for His voice and follow His instruction. Amen.

Love Large

Image
Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. — 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (TPT) I appreciate that The Passion Translation says that love is “ consistently ” kind. Let us not be sporadic in our love for YAHWEH or toward other people. First John 4:8 says: God is love. And He dwells within us. So let us, as followers of Christ, and children of the Most High God, share the love YAHWEH lavishes upon us, with all people, regardless of their race, color, religion or sexual orientation. May we show genuine love even to those who have not loved us. In Matthew 5:44-45, Yeshua instructs us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, so that you may be sons of our Father who is in hea

Stay Connected

Image
“I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” — John 15:5 (AMP) Realize that our union with Yeshua is vital. He is the very source of life. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life]… (See John 1:3-4 AMP) We are to live, move and have our being in Him. (See Acts 17:28) When we live separated from the Vine we are powerless. (See John 15:5 TPT) And without Him we are on the path that leads to death and destruction. Stay closely connected to Yeshua, be deeply rooted in Him and you will bear much fruit.  As diligent as we are to ensure our electronic devices are daily plugged in to re-charge, let us be all the more committed to staying connected to Christ, the very Source of our life, peace and strength.

Run!

Image
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. — Hebrews 12:1 (NLT) In order to run with endurance, we need to strip off anything that weighs us down, cast off all worries and cares, and stay free of sin and the traps of the enemy. Run with persistence the race that is set before you, and never quit. Notice that the Holy Scripture says to “run” and not walk. That conveys a sense of urgency. Let us purposefully move forward and continually progress toward the goal. We are able to do this by keeping our eyes on Yeshua, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. (See Hebrews 12:2 NLT)

The Light of the World

Image
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” — John 8:12 (NASB1995) In John 9:5, Yeshua said: “While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.” As Followers of Christ, we too are the light of the world. A city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. (See Matthew 5:14)  ...you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), (Ephesians 5:8-9). May we let His light shine brightly through us and draw others closer to Him. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. (John 3:19 NASB1995) But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. (1 Thessalonians 5:8 NLT)

He Makes a Way

Image
Thus says the LORD, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” — Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 (NASB1995) YAHWEH knows how to rescue His people. He brought the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, by opening the waters and making a dry path through the sea. He drowned all of their enemies. (See Isaiah 43:17) God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him. (See 2 Peter 2:7 NLT) So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. (2 Peter 2:9 NLT) Whatever you are going through today, know that the day of your deliverance is already written in His book. Be confi

Not Destroyed

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) We may feel battered and beaten up by the troubles and trials we face in life. But don’t get discouraged by the difficulties that come. Even when we don’t know what to do, we can be sure that YAHWEH has already made a way for us. And our heavenly Father never abandons us. He stands with us. What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? (Romans 8:31 AMP) No matter what has happened in the course of our lives, we are still here! YAHWEH has been faithful to bring us through it all. And oftentimes, what we have suffered has served to make us stronger and more resilient. Continue to fight the good fight. Finish the race. Keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7)

The Heart Matters

Image
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7 (NLT) Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. (1 Peter 3:3-4 NLT)  YAHWEH delights to set truth deep in our spirits. So break down any barriers between you and our heavenly Father and invite Him to come into the hidden places of your heart and teach you wisdom. The source of God’s pleasure is not in our performance or the sacrifices we might offer to Him. Let our sacrifice be a humble spirit. YAHWEH will not reject a humble and repentant heart. (See Psalms 51:16-17 TPT/GNT) But everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD.

Above All

Image
From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the LORD is to be praised. The LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens. — Psalm 113:3-4 (NASB1995)  There is none like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods, (Psalm 95:2-3 NASB1995) YAHWEH is above any mountain that stands before you. He is greater than any fiery dart the enemy throws your way. Call upon Him in the day of trouble; He shall rescue you, and you will honor Him. (See Psalm 50:15 NASB1995) The Most High reaches down from heaven and rescues us; he draws us out of deep waters. (See Psalm 18:16 NLT) He delivers us from our enemies; Surely He will lift you above those who rise up against you. (See Psalm 18:48 NASB1995) YAHWEH is above that doctor’s report, and the balance of your bank account. He is above this world system and government. Put yo

Find Rest

Image
This is what the LORD says:  “Stop at the crossroads and look around.  Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it.  Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls.  But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’  — Jeremiah 6:16 (NLT) Don't be hard-headed and refuse to walk in the wise ways of YAHWEH. Psalm 91:1 (NLT) says: Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. (Isaiah 57:15 NLT) He dwells in the high and holy (set apart) place. May we humble ourselves and find rest for our souls by abiding in the shelter of El Elyon, the God Most High. He lets you rest in green meadows and leads you beside peaceful streams. (See Psalm 23:2 NLT) The LORD will guide you continually, an

Long for the LORD

Image
Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) …those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. (Isaiah 40:30-31 AMP) The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalm 29:11 NLT) While the world seeks to seduce us, may we always long for the Presence of YAHWEH, more than anything or anyone else. ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)

Where is Your Trust?

Image
But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the LORD because he is good to me. — Psalm 13:5-6 (NLT) Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they? (Isaiah 2:22 NLT) This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.” (Jeremiah 17:5 NLT) Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. (1 Timothy 6:17 NLT) Let us keep our trust in YAHWEH and in His unfailing love, in all situations and circumstances. Jesus said: “ Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. ” (John 14:1 NLT) Anyone who trusts in the precious Cornerstone will never be disgraced. (See 1 Peter 2:6 NLT) How blessed is the person who trusts in YAHWEH!

To Whom Shall You Go?

Image
As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore. So Jesus said to the twelve, “You do not want to go away also, do you?”  — John 6:66-67 (NASB1995) Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God.” (John 6:68-69 NASB1995) To whom shall you go?  In John 14:6 Yeshua said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” He is the good shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. (See John 10:11) He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother. Come to know Him and do not let anyone or anything draw you away.

Walk by Faith

Image
for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] —  — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP) May we live our lives in alignment with our trust and belief in YAHWEH, His goodness, and His faithfulness to fulfill every Word He has spoken. Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Jesus.” (See John 14:1) It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. (See 2 Corinthians 5:7 MSG) For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT)

My Strength & Shield

Image
The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. — Psalm 28:7 (NLT) YAHWEH is our source of strength and He is a shield of protection. Do not rely on your own power, God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength. (See 1 Corinthians 1:25 NLT) I pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. ( See Colossians 1:11-12 NLT) But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. (Psalm 3:3 NLT) The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. (Psalm 18:2 NLT) He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. (See Psalm 18:30 NASB1995) YAHWEH has given us His shield of victory. His right hand supports us;
