Listen & Follow

Image
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! — Psalm 95:6-7 (NLT) The God Most High, is a good, good Father Who continually watches over His people. He cares for us and provides all of our needs. May we worship Him and Him alone. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear and will trust in the LORD. (Psalm 40:2-3 NASB1995) Yeshua is our good Shepherd, Who gave His life for us. (See John 10:11) In John 10:14 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “… I know My own and My own know Me, ” Yeshua calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. The sheep follow Him because they know His voice. (See John 10:3-4) A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do

Rely Only on God

Image
We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NLT) Do not be deceived and put your confidence in human ability, nor strength. Rely on God. His wisdom and guidance. His healing and strength. Rely on His salvation. His lovingkindness and compassion. Be confident in His goodness and faithfulness. Trust in His mercy and grace. In 2 Corinthians 1:10 (NLT) the Apostle Paul says: God did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. Keep your trust and confidence in YAHWEH. He will rescue you again and draw you near to Him.

What is the Condition of Your Heart?

Image
“ And I will give them one heart [a new heart], and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh [that is responsive to My touch], ” — Ezekiel 11:19 (AMP) May our hearts always be responsive to the touch of the LORD, just as clay in the hands of a potter. “…learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him...” (See 1 Chronicles 28:9 NLT) Do not let self-righteousness or pride cause you to harden your heart. Proverbs 11:20 (NKJV) says: Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD. Anything contrary to the Word of God (truth) is perverse. Humble yourself and set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD our God. The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, the LORD will not endure. (See Psalm 101:4 NKJV) If your heart has gone astray from

Keep Believing

Image
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. — Hebrews 11:6 (NASB1995) Let us be among the faithful, who continue to believe, no matter what. The enemy of our souls wants us to doubt God. But Jesus said: “… believe in God, believe also in Me. ” (See John 14:1) In John 6:29 (AMP), Jesus answered, “This is the work of God: that you believe [adhere to, trust in, rely on, and have faith] in the One whom He has sent.” (John 6:29 AMP)
“For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved. (Hebrews 10:37-39 NLT) So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that yo

Perfect & Constant

Image
“ You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. ” — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) When you dwell on the mountains before you, they seem to grow bigger. When your mind is committed to and focused on the LORD, He will keep you in perfect peace. The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. (Psalm 97:5 NKJV) Set your mind on the Prince of Peace. Let the peace of God rule in your heart. He has given us His perfect peace. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. Let His perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (See John 14:27 AMP) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, whi

Dare to Hope

Image
Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: — Lamentations 3:21 (NLT) No matter how difficult or dismal the previous day, we can dare to hope because every morning His mercies begin afresh. The faithful love of the LORD never runs out. He provides all we need to persist in spite of the problems and obstacles that come before us. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalm 31:24 NLT) It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 AMP) Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone. (Psalm 33:22 NLT) “The LORD is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul; “Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.” — Lamentations 3:24 (AMP)

Call Upon The LORD

Image
Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. — Isaiah 55:6 (NASB1995) There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12 NASB1995) Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. (Isaiah 55:7 NLT) Return to the LORD, who is merciful and full of compassion. (See Psalm 86:15 NKJV) He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. (Proverbs 2:8-9 NLT) “For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace;” (Isaiah 55:12a NASB1995)  The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. — Psalm 145:18 (NASB1995)

Called & Chosen

Image
They will wage war against the Lamb (Christ), and the Lamb will triumph and conquer them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him and on His side are the called and chosen (elect) and faithful.” — Revelation 17:14 (AMP) Believers are the called and chosen of God. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4 NLT) God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9 NKJV) First Peter 2:9 says we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. We are called into His light and into fellowship with Jesus Christ. Galatians 5:13 says: For you, brethren, have been called to liberty... In addition, Romans 8:28 (NKJV) says: all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who

Our Hiding Place

Image
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” — Psalm 91:1-2 (NKJV) We are not to check-in and check-out of the LORD, like He is a temporary lodging facility. We are not to make weekly visitations. As believers and followers of the Lord Jesus, the Son of God, we are to continually abide under the shadow of Almighty God. He is our Hiding Place, in the midst of the storms of life. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield... (Psalm 91:4 NKJV) Faith in His Word (truth) shall be your protective shield with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (See Ephesians 6:16 AMP) Because we set our love upon the LORD Most High, He will deliver us; He will set us on high, because we have known His name. When we call upon Him, He will answer. The LORD will be with us in

He Guides

Image
The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” — Psalm 32:8 (NLT) Instead of insisting on doing things our own way, let us always seek the counsel of the LORD. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:9) Our heavenly Father wants what is best for His children, like any good parent. And He is faithful to show us the way. Psalm 23:3 (NLT) says He guides us along right paths, bringing honor to His name. Let us be committed to following His lead. In Him, we are to live, move and have our being…for we are His offspring. (See Acts 17:28 NKJV) So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. (Galatians 5:16 NLT) Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. (Galatians 5:25 NLT)

He's Coming!

Image
“ I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire; ” — Daniel 7:9 (NKJV) “ I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed. ” — Daniel 7:13-14 (NKJV) “I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom. (Daniel 7:21-22 NKJV) …in the end, the holy people of the Most High

Why?

Image
“ Sir,” Gideon replied, “if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn’t they say, ‘The LORD brought us up out of Egypt’? But now the LORD has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites. ” — Judges 6:13 (NLT) Like Gideon, we may sometimes wonder, “ if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? ” However, 1 Peter 4:12 (NASB1995) says: Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; Psalm 37:1-2 (NLT) says: Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Regardless of what has happened or not happened, be assured that the LORD is with you. He will never abandon you, nor forsake you. But what does the LORD require of you? Micah 6:8 (NLT) says: “O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he re

Be of Good Cheer

Image
“ These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. ” — John 16:33 (NKJV) In the trials and tribulations of this world, followers of Christ can continue to be of good cheer. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (Romans 8:37 AMP) Psalm 112:4 (NKJV) says: Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:12 NASB1995) Jesus said: “ I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order. ” (John 16:33 VOICE). You are of God, little children, and have ov

Better Than Life

Image
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! — Psalm 63:1-3 (NLT) Life on this earth is temporary and fleeting, but the unfailing love of the Most High will last forever. (See Psalm 89:2) His unfailing love fills the earth and is higher than the heavens. (See Psalms 119:64 & 108:4) In spite of all our mess ups, His unfailing love still stands. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Chr

We Do Not Belong

Image
“ I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. ” — John 17:14-18 (NLT) As followers of Christ, we are not supposed to conform to the world and its ways. We do not belong to this world. We are on assignment to give them JESUS, to spread the love of God and share His Word, the truth. To let His light shine through us, into the darkness of this world. Once we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we became citizens of the Kingdom of God, a higher and better Kingdom, one of righteousness, peace and joy. Let us declare the goodness of our great God in giving His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
‘Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,’ — Jeremiah 32:17 (NASB) Endure hardships and sufferings being confident that the Lord will rescue you out of them all. Lawlessness is increased in the land, but the one who endures to the end will be saved. (See Matthew 24:12-13) Do not fret because of evildoers or be envious of the wicked; (Proverbs 24:19 NASB1995 ) In the midst of challenges and difficulties, let the perfect love of God cast out all fear and exercise the measure of faith in you. The battle is the LORD’s and nothing is too difficult for Him. Our God is great and powerful, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. He has all wisdom and does great and mighty miracles. (See Jeremiah 32:18-19 NLT) He is a miracle worker and a promise keeper. Stand on His Word.

Now is the Time

Image
“ But a time is coming and is already here when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit [from the heart, the inner self] and in truth; for the Father seeks such people to be His worshipers. God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. ” — John 4:23-24 (AMP) Worship is not about a specific place and time. Now is the time for true worshipers to worship the God Most High, every moment of the day, with all of our hearts, with our actions and with the words we speak. It involves our total being, acknowledging the goodness and greatness of our awesome God and Creator. True worship means we approach the throne of God in humility and with reverence, and we are transparent, completely honest in confessing our sins with a genuinely repentant heart. If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cle

Deep Longing

Image
Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. — Jeremiah 29:13 (AMP) What is the deepest longing of your heart? Let us require the LORD and His Presence as a vital necessity. When we look for Him intently, we will find Him. (See Jeremiah 29:13 VOICE) We need to purpose in our hearts and minds to pursue God, each and every day. Desire to dwell in His marvelous light. Long for His wisdom, look for His guidance, and crave the truth, found in the Word of God. Yearn for righteousness and justice and aspire to do what is right in His eyes. Always, look to the LORD our God, only He can satisfy. As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. (Psalm 42:1 NLT) O True God, You are my God, the One whom I trust. I seek You with every fiber of my being. In this dry and weary land with no water in sight, my soul is dry and longs for You. My body aches for You, for Your presence.

Dwell in His Presence

Image
The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me. Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the LORD. — Psalm 23:1, 4, 6 (AMP) The LORD led the Israelites in the wilderness for forty years and they lacked nothing. He gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, and brought them water out of the rock for their thirst (See Nehemiah 9:15) Their clothes and sandals did not wear out. (See Deuteronomy 29:5) Just as He was with the Israelites, the LORD is with His people today. And John 10:29 says, no one is able to snatch us out of the Father’s hand. He leads us and guides us, as we journey through this life. We shall not want because He is a faith

Look Up

Image
Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalm 5:2-3 (NKJV) The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy. (See John 10:10a) The dark deeds of the enemy can make us feel down in the dumps, discouraged, and depressed, if we let him steal our joy and confidence in the LORD. Instead of giving in to the schemes of the enemy, look up with eyes of faith, and see the light of the LORD. Lift up your eyes and see the goodness and faithfulness of our great God. No matter how circumstances may appear, God is still working for your good. I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. — Psalm 121:1-3 (NLT)

Restore Me

Image
You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again. — Psalm 71:20-21 (NLT) Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; (1 Peter 4:12 NKJV) In John 16:33 (NLT) Jesus said: “ Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows .” But He also said “… take heart, because I have overcome the world .” We can be of good cheer because King Jesus has gained the victory for us. Second Corinthians 4:17 (NLT) says our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!  We can live in peace. Jesus is Immanuel, “ God with us. ” (See Matthew 1:23) He is with us in all our troubles, and He will also deliver us out of them all. (See Psalm 34:17 NKJV) Amen and hallelujah!

None Like the LORD

Image
There is none like You, O LORD; You are great, and great is Your mighty and powerful name. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For it is appropriate and it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You. — Jeremiah 10:6-7 (AMP) God made the earth by His power; He established the world by His wisdom and by His understanding and skill He has stretched out the heavens. (Jeremiah 10:12 AMP) Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails. (Psalm 111:3 NLT) …the God of Israel is no idol! He is the Creator of everything that exists, including Israel, his own special possession. The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name! (Jeremiah 10:16 NLT) “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches.” (Jeremiah 9:23) If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and all that is [deep]

God is Good!

Image
Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:8-10 (NLT) In the midst of difficulties and hardships, never doubt the goodness of God. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. (Psalm 100:5 NLT) The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. (Psalm 25:8 NLT) The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. (Psalm 34:19 NLT) I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. (Psalm 34:1 NLT) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. (Psalm 34:17-18

Show Me

Image
Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. — Psalm 143:8 (NLT) The LORD is faithful to show us the way of life. (See Psalm 16:11) May we have eyes that see, ears that hear, and hearts that understand His ways. Let us exercise wisdom and follow Him each and every day. Psalm 23:2-3 says, He makes us lie down in green pastures and leads us beside still waters. He restores our souls and leads us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. (Proverbs 12:28 NASB1995)  Teach me to do Your will [so that I may please You], for You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. — Psalm 143:10 (AMP)

The Chief Cornerstone

Image
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. — Psalm 118:22-23 (NKJV) Be wise and build your life upon the rock and when the storms come and beat against your house, you will not be moved. Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “ Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken . (Isaiah 28:16 NLT) You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor. (1 Peter 2:4 NLT) Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. — Ephesians 2:20 (NLT)

He Calms All Fears

Image
For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. — Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT) The Amplified Bible says: “He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins]…” Let the perfect love of God, calm all your fears. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV) There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears is not complete in love. (1 John 4:18 CSB) But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust [confidently] in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever. (Psalm 52:8 AMP) How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 36:7 NLT)

Keep Watch

Image
But as for me, I will look expectantly for the LORD and with confidence in Him I will keep watch; I will wait [with confident expectation] for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. — Micah 7:7 (AMP) Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ. (See Hebrews 3:6 NLT) Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. (See Revelation 1:8) So be alert [give strict attention, be cautious and active in faith], for you do not know which day [whether near or far] your Lord is coming. (Matthew 24:42 AMP) Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, domin

Live by Faithfulness

Image
“Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God”. — Habakkuk 2:4 (NLT) Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! (Habakkuk 3:17-18 NLT) Even when circumstances appear dismal, keep trusting the LORD, our “more than enough” God. He is all we need and His supply is unlimited.

A Joyful Mind

Image
A happy heart is good medicine and a joyful mind causes healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. — Proverbs 17:22 (AMP) Proverbs 17:22 (MSG) says: gloom and doom leave you bone-tired. Instead of listening to the dismal details of daily world events, bring healing to your mind by keeping it stayed on the LORD and the glorious destiny He has for you. (See Isaiah 26:3) Keep your mind joyful by remembering all the good things the LORD has done for you. He woke us up this morning and gave us fresh new mercies. He forgives all our sins, and heals all our diseases; He redeems our lives from the pit, and crowns us lavishly with lovingkindness and tender mercy. (See Psalm 103:3-4 AMP) Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! (Psalm 32:11 NKJV) “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (See Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV) Let us serve the LORD our God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything.  The humble also

Limitless Love

Image
Long ago the LORD said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. — Jeremiah 31:3 (NLT) The LORD loves His people with an everlasting love. He is a faithful Father, Who only wants the best for His children. No matter what difficulties you experience in life, never lose hope that He is working for your good. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 AMP) Continue to be convinced that the LORD loves you, no matter what. And His love conquers all.

Look to the Lord

Image
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.   — Hebrews 12:2 (ESV) How do we run our race? By looking away from all that will distract us and focusing our eyes on Jesus. Wherever you go and whatever you do today, remember to keep your eyes on the Lord Jesus. Our help comes from Him. He will renew your strength and guide you along right paths, bringing honor to His name. (See Psalm 23:3 NLT) You may have to go through some valleys and climb over a mountain or two, but He is faithful to bring you through to the other side. He guides us with His counsel, and is leading us to a glorious destiny. (See Psalm 73:24 NLT)  For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and he will guide us until we die. (Psalm 48:14 NLT) We just need to heed and follow His lead. The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I
