Everlasting

Image
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. — Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV) Don’t trust in temporary things or rely on people who are here for a season, and then disappear. Cling to the LORD who will never leave you nor forsake you. He is always with us. He holds us by the hand and guides us with His counsel, leading us to a glorious destiny. (See Psalm 73:23-24) With everlasting love, the LORD, our Redeemer has compassion on us. (See Isaiah 54:8) And be convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. (See Romans 8:38) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! — Psalm 107:8 (NKJV)

Don't Fret

Image
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. — Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in every circumstance and situation, present your requests to God, with thanksgiving. And the perfect peace of God which transcends all human understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, the Anointed One. As long as we are in Christ Jesus that peace is ours. The LORD will keep the peace, a perfect peace, for all who trust in Him, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to Him. (See Isaiah 26:3 VOICE) The mountains may disappear, and the hills may come to an end, but my love will never disappear; my promise of peace will not come to an end,” says the

In His Presence

Image
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. — Psalm 16:11 (AMP) Dwell in the secret place of the Most High God. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. (Psalm 91:1-2 AMP) In His Presence is fullness of joy. If you have allowed the enemy to steal your joy, draw near to our great and awesome God. We get the proper perspective when we focus on His Presence instead of our problems. Elohim is greater and more powerful than any challenge we face. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. Jesus came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10 AMP) Surely the righteous will give thanks to Your name; The upright will dwell in Your presence. — Psalm 140:13 (AMP)

Higher Than I

Image
From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. — Psalm 61:2 (NKJV) There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. (See 1 Samuel 2:2) When overwhelmed with life, cry out to the LORD for help. He is our safe refuge. I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. (Psalm 62:1-2 NLT) In all circumstances, may we trust in the LORD and follow Him. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:9) He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! (Deuteronomy 32:4 NLT) The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. — Psa

Seek the LORD!

Image
Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) The LORD looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God. (Psalm 14:2 NLT) May we continually search for the LORD and for His strength, and strive to do His will. Let us maintain a constant connection with our Lord and Savior. Cut off from that vital union with Jesus we can do nothing. He is the Vine and we are the branches. If we remain in Him we bear much fruit. (See John 15:5) Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice. — Psalm 105:3 (AMP)

Be Glad

Image
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB1995) We can rejoice because the LORD knows the plans He has for us. All of our days were written in His book before we were born. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) Hallelujah! We can be glad that our awesome God is good and the plans He has for us are good. Rejoice that the LORD is always with us. We will not be shaken, for he is right beside us. (See Psalm 16:8 NLT) Be confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan. (See Romans 8:28 VOICE) “Blessed [with spiritual security] is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the LORD and whose hope and confident expectation is the LORD. — Jeremiah 17:7 (AMP)

Half Dead?

Image
Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. — Luke 10: 30 (NKJV) Have you ever felt deserted on the roadside of life, half dead? A certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where this man was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. Today, we have Jesus. He meets us wherever we are, and has compassion on us. Hallelujah!  The Samaritan went to the man, soothed his wounds with olive oil and wine and bandaged him up. Then he set him on his own donkey, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. (See Luke 10:33-34) Our awesome God heals our wounds, brings us into His house and takes care of us. Praise the Lord for His great grace, lovingkindness and mercy! May we too, have compassion for our neighbors. Let us share the light and love of God with everyone He puts on our path. Amen.

He Takes Care of Us

Image
But one testified in a certain place, saying: “What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You take care of him?” — Hebrews 2:6 (NKJV) Our heavenly Father is a good Father, Who always takes care of His children. In Psalm 50:15 (NKJV), He says: “ Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. ” The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17 NLT) When we call on Him, He is faithful to answer. Patiently endure adversity and hardships. For the LORD is with us in the trouble and will rescue us out of it. (See Psalm 91:15 NLT)  Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close. — Psalm 27:10 (NLT)

Come Close

Image
Come close to the one true God, and He will draw close to you. Wash your hands; you have dirtied them in sin. Cleanse your heart, because your mind is split down the middle, your love for God on one side and selfish pursuits on the other. — James 4:8 (VOICE) So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him make himself scarce. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time (See James 4:7-8 MSG) Our Heavenly Father is faithful. James 4:8 (NASB1995) says when you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16 NASB1995)  Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him a

What Great Love!

Image
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. — 1 John 3:1 (NIV) …as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13 NKJV) May all of us who believe and accept Him, receive and reflect the great love the Father lavishes upon us every moment of every day. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (1 Corinthians 13:7 NLT) I will give thanks and praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart; And will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your lovingkindness and graciousness toward me; And You have rescued my life from the depths of Sheol [from death]. (Psalm 86:12-14 AMP)

Our Provider

Image
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes]. — James 1:17 (AMP) By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. God has given us everything we need to live a free, healthy and successful life. He is Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. The LORD  will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (See Psalm 84:11 NLT) “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. — Matthew 7:7-8 (NLT)

Fight the Good Fight

Image
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; — 2 Timothy 4:7 (NASB) May we fight the good fight, finish the course God has given to each one of us, and keep the faith, until the very end. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:11-12 NASB) Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. (Ephesians 6:13 NLT) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. — Ephesians 6:10 (AMP)

Be Confident in the Lord

Image
Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds you back. But when you place your confidence in the Lord, you will be seated in the high place. — Proverbs 29:25 (TPT) Job said, “ For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, and that of which I am afraid has come upon me. ” (Job 3:25 AMP) Instead of focusing on your fears, keep your focus on Elohim, and His goodness, and your fears will give way to faith and confidence in God Most High. Have no fear but the fear of the LORD. In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence (Proverbs 14:26a NKJV) The [reverent] fear of the LORD [that leads to obedience and worship] is a fountain of life, so that one may avoid the snares of death. (Proverbs 14:26 AMP) Don’t allow the enemy to paralyze you with fear tactics. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-contr

We Shall Overcome

Image
You know how much persecution and suffering I have endured. You know all about how I was persecuted in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra—but the Lord rescued me from all of it. — 2 Timothy 3:11 (NLT) Just as the Apostle Paul experienced difficulties, we too will have to endure some challenges. The good news is that the Lord will rescue us out of all our troubles, just as He rescued Paul. Trust God. Be patient and persistent and remain faithful to the end. We shall overcome. For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. (1 John 5:4 AMP) Look, we bless and honor the memory of those who persevered under hardship. Remember how Job endured and how the Lord orchestrated the triumph of his final circumstances as a grand display of His mercy and compassion. — James 5:11 (VOICE)

A Son is Given

Image
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. — Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) Unto us a Son is given. Jesus is everything we need. He has done all that needed to be done for us. When He said “ It is finished! ” that is what He meant. Receive Him today. He continually beckons for us to come closer to Him. Receive His counsel, and guidance. Receive His love as an everlasting Father and receive His peace that will rule in our hearts and minds as we keep our eyes fixed on Him.

Our Hope & Help

Image
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. — Psalm 146:3-4 (NLT) But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever. (Psalm 146:5-6 NLT) He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and calls them all by name. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! (Psalm 147:3-5 NLT) Praise the LORD as long as you live. Sing  praises to our great God with your dying breath. (See Psalms 146:2 NLT) Never lose hope, when you have the LORD as your Helper.

Never Forget

Image
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness (graciousness, mercy, compassion) endures forever. — Psalms 136:1 (AMP)  Let us continually give thanks to our loving Lord and faithful Father. Never forget the good things He does for you. Despite all your many offenses, He forgives and releases you. More than any doctor, He heals your diseases. He reaches deep into the pit to deliver you from death. He crowns you with unfailing love and compassion like a king. When your soul is famished and withering, He fills you with good and beautiful things, satisfying you as long as you live. He makes you strong like an eagle, restoring your youth. (Psalm 103:3-5 VOICE) Let your heart overflow with praise to the True God of heaven, for His faithful love lasts forever. — Psalms 136:26 (VOICE)

He Guides

Image
He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me . — Psalm 23:3-4 (NLT) No matter how dark the valley we go through, the LORD, our Shepherd, is with us. He is close to us, and will never abandons us. Don’t be like Peter and follow at a distance. (See Matthew 26:58) Stay close to Him and follow His lead. His marvelous light will reveal what you need to know, as you take each step in faith. Our ever-present God will guide you on the true and right paths. Submit to Abba Father and be filled with His perfect peace, strength, and comfort as He leads you through each and every situation you encounter. “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you

Small Potatoes

Image
These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. — 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (MSG) The Bible describes the troubles we see today as light and momentary affliction. The good thing is that it is temporary, while the Word of God will last forever. He is faithful to fulfill every promise. Our Heavenly Father is always with us, and He has already made a way through every difficulty, trouble, and trial. Know that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (See Philippians 4:19 NASB) For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalm 84:11 NLT)

Boast Only about The LORD

Image
Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD.” — 1 Corinthians 1:31 (NLT) We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. (See Revelation 12:11 NKJV) Therefore, I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the LORD’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. (See Psalm 34:1-3 NLT) In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened; he saved me from all my troubles. (Psalm 34:6) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17 NLT) The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. (Psalm 34:19 NLT)

Recognize & Respond

Image
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. — Romans 12:1-2 (MSG) The best way to recognize God's will and respond to His call is to consistently spend time drawing near to Him, and renew your mind with His Word. We need to continually renew our minds with the Word of God because our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (See 1 Peter 5:8 NASB) And the only offensive weapon we have is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (See Ephesians 6:17). If we don’t know the Word, we allow the enem

Be Grateful

Image
Do all things without grumbling or disputing; — Philippians 2:14 (NASB1995) In Exodus 16:2 (NASB1995), the whole congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. However, Exodus 16:7 says they were actually grumbling against the LORD and He heard them. They grumbled in their tents and refused to obey the LORD. (See Psalm 106:25 NLT) “And we must not embrace their ways by complaining—grumbling with discontent, as many of them did, and were killed by the destroyer!” (1 Corinthians 10:10 TPT) When we look at what we don’t have, it leads to whining, complaining, and grumbling. It is much better to look at how good our awesome God is, and remember all the great things He has done for us. Doing the latter will lead to a grateful heart that continually gives thanks to God. Thank God for His goodness, His grace and His mercy. Instead of grumbling against the LORD, and questioning His providence (see Philippians 2:14 AMP), be grateful. A grateful heart giv

Here to Help

Image
For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. — Isaiah 41:13 (NLT) Let go of the things of this world and cling to your heavenly Father. He is here to help you. With man is an arm of flesh, but the LORD our God is with us, to help us and to fight our battles. ...the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him. (Psalm 37:39-40 NKJV) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. — Psalm 46:1 (NKJV)

An Everlasting Rock

Image
“Trust in the LORD forever, for in God the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.” — Isaiah 26:4 (NASB1995) In Matthew 24:6-8 (NKJV), Jesus said: “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.“ The current times on the earth are quite volatile, and unsettling, but the King of kings and the Lord of lords warned us ahead of time, and He has already overcome this world. Always trust in the LORD, He is the stability of our times. “No one is holy like the LORD, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.“ (1 Samuel 2:2 NKJV) The LORD is our immovable rock, our  fortress and our deliverer. In Him, we will not be shaken. Amen. And He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and

He Cares

Image
But soon a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat, and it began to fill with water. Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” — Mark 4:37-38 (NLT) The enemy wants you to believe that God doesn't care about you. Never listen to his lies. Jesus is Immanuel, “God With Us” and He cares about you. Jesus gave His life to save us and restore us back into fellowship with the Father. As violent storms arise in your life, stand strong in faith and trust the Lord to deliver you. When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39 NLT) Even the wind and waves obey Him. Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (See 1 Peter 5:7 NASB1995)

Dwell in His House

Image
I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to the house of the LORD.” — Psalm 122:1 (NASB) Your strong love, O True God, is precious. All people run for shelter under the shadow of Your wings. In Your house, they eat and are full at Your table. They drink from the river of Your overflowing kindness. You have the fountain of life that quenches our thirst. Your light has opened our eyes and awakened our souls. (Psalm 36:7-9 VOICE) Surely the LORD grants you unending blessings and makes you glad with the joy of His presence. (See Psalm 21:6 NIV) Dwell in the house of the LORD forever and His goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. (See Psalm 23:6)

Everything We Need

Image
For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. — 2 Peter 1:3 (AMP) Know that we have been called, with a purpose and a good plan for our lives. And the very God who called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light has given us everything we need to live an abundant and godly life. Our awesome God has given us His Holy Spirit to dwell within us and help us reflect God’s true nature. And we have the Word of God which will make our way prosperous, and give us good success, as we meditate in it day and night, and do according to all that is written in it. (See Joshua 1:8) Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorio

Peace in His Presence

Image
The LORD will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace. — Psalm 29:11 (AMP) Philippians 4:13 (TPT) says: “…I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.” We can experience everlasting peace because Jesus, the Prince of Peace, empowers us to overcome every challenge. Cast all your anxious thoughts on Him and let His peace guard your heart and mind as you live in Christ Jesus. (See Philippians 4:7 NLT) Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. — 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (AMP)

Believe & Receive

Image
But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. — Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) Often times we weary ourselves out attempting to do too many things, or trying to get something in our own strength, instead we are to be filled and led by the Spirit of God. He will lead us and guide us and give us the strength to do what He has called us to do. In John 14:1, Jesus implores us to believe in God and believe also in Him. No matter how circumstances may appear, let us continually believe God and His Word.  Receive the God of Israel as the One who is faithful to perform every Word He has spoken. Receive Him as the Source of the breath of life within us and the Sovereign God, above all. Receive Him as the God Who Sees You (El Roi) and the One Who has made a way for you. He is our Provider, our Healer, our Righteousness, our Prince of Peace, et

Keep Your Joy

Image
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. — Psalm 16:11 (AMP) The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.  (See John 10:10) Don’t let the enemy steal your joy. “Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” (See Nehemiah 8:10 NLT) James 1:2-3 (NASB) tells us to consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. We can remain joyful in trouble because we know that He is with us and He will bring us through. Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! — Philippians 4:4 (TPT)
