Chosen!

Image
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. (Romans 12:1-2 AMP)

Far Greater

Image
Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world. — 1 John 4:4 (TPT) Those of us who belong to God have already won the victory over the evil forces of this world. Because we have the Holy Spirit residing in us, we have the same power in us that raised Christ from the dead. No matter what dark valley you go through, have no fear. We may be pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but we are not driven to despair. We may get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (See 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) We can always get back up again. Far greater is the One in us than the one in the world. Keep your eyes on Jesus, continually pressing forward to what lies ahead. Take each step in faith, in full confidence that our Heavenly Father has provided everything we need to live an abundant, victorious and godly life.

Live in Unity

Image
He did not say this on his own; as high priest at that time he was led to prophesy that Jesus would die for the entire nation. And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world. — John 11:51-52 (NLT) As believers and followers of Christ, we are called to live in unity. In John 17:20-21 (NLT), Jesus said: “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.” (John 17:20-21 NLT) And so it is in the body of Christ. For though we are many, we’ve all been mingled into one body in Christ. This means that we are all vitally joined to one another, with each contributing to the others. (Romans 12:5 TPT) I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony wi

Be Cheerful

Image
Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! — Philippians 4:4 (TPT) For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT) However, let us be full of joy in every season. The joy of the Lord is your strength. When we rejoice in the Lord, our joy is not based on external circumstances, but on an eternal God, Who never changes. Rejoice in His goodness and faithfulness. Be glad and rejoice in His unfailing love, for He has seen your troubles, and He cares about the anguish of your soul. He has not handed you over to your enemies but has set you in a safe place. (See Psalm 31:7-8 NLT) So then, my soul, why would you be depressed? Why would you sink into despair? Just keep hoping and waiting on God, your Savior. For no matter what, I will still sing with praise, for you are my saving grace! — Psalm 42:5 (TPT)

Keep Trusting

Image
For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. — Psalm 9:10 (TPT) Keep putting your trust in the LORD, Yahweh. …our true help and protection is only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth. (Psalm 121:2 TPT) Yes, trust in the Lord Yahweh forever and ever! For Yah, the Lord God, is your Rock of Ages! (Isaiah 26:4 TPT) Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. — Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT)

Rely Only on God

Image
We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NLT) If you’re experiencing challenges and feeling overwhelmed, stop relying on yourself and learn to rely ONLY on God. He has rescued us before and He will rescue us again. Amen! And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.  — 2 Corinthians 1:10 (NLT)

Above All

Image
For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also. — Psalm 95:3-4 (NKJV) O magnify the LORD with me, and let us lift up His name together. (Psalm 34:3 AMP) For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. (1 Chronicles 16:25 NKJV) The LORD is great in Zion, and He is high above all the peoples. (Psalm 99:2 NKJV) Yahweh is highly exalted, above politics, pandemics and all disease. He is higher than any mountain that stands before you, and more powerful than the forces of evil. In the darkest of valleys, never doubt that our mighty God is able to handle anything that comes your way. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19 NKJV) For the Lord’s greatness is beyond description, and he deserves all the praise that comes to him. He is our King-God, and it’s right to be in holy awe of him. — Psal

Don't be Pulled Away

Image
The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.” — Luke 10:41-42 (TPT) Are you troubled and worried by all the demands of this world. Don’t let the worldly distractions pull you away from Jesus and spending time with the Living Word. Luke 10:39 (TPT) says, Mary sat down attentively before the Master, absorbing every revelation he shared. Let us stop striving and be still to listen attentively, focused on what Jesus is speaking to us. Absorb every revelation Jesus shares. Psalm 46:10 (MSG) says: “…Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything.” Surrender your anxiety. Be still and realize that I am God. I am God above all the nations, and I am exalted throughout the whole earth. — Psalm 46:10 (TPT)

Abide

Image
“ Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. ” — John 15:4-5 (NASB1995) We are to live our lives in union with Christ. Anything we attempt to do without Him will come to nothing. God gives us the strength to do what He has called us to do and when we work in harmony with His Holy Spirit, our efforts yield beautiful and eternal results. For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ (Acts 17:28 NKJV)  And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.  — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT)

Arise & Shine!

Image
“…the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.” — Matthew 4:16 (NLT) Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “ I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life. ” (John 8:12 NASB) Walk in the light that leads to life, a more abundant life here on earth and an eternal life thereafter. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (See Philippians 2:15 NLT) With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused. (Ephesians 4:17 NLT) For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! (Ephesians 5:8 NLT) Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness th

Able & Willing

Image
Jesus looked at them and replied, “With people it is impossible, but not with God—God makes all things possible!” — Mark 10:27 (TPT) You can stand with man and be disappointed or you can believe God. Our mighty God is able and willing. Why, then, O Jacob’s tribes, would you ever complain? And my chosen Israel, why would you say, “Yahweh isn’t paying attention to my situation. He has lost all interest in what happens to me.” Don’t you know? Haven’t you been listening? Yahweh is the one and only everlasting God, the Creator of all you can see and imagine! He never gets weary or worn out. His intelligence is unlimited; he is never puzzled over what to do! (Isaiah 40:27-28 TPT) When the situation  appears  impossible, trust in Elohim, the all-powerful One. Nothing is too difficult for Him. He is more than able and willing to handle your concerns.

Trust Totally

Image
Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed. — Proverbs 16:3 (TPT) Commit your works to the LORD, for He knows the plans He has for you. Seek His will in all you do and your plans will succeed, as you respond appropriately to His guidance. Trust Elohim. His plans for you are good and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11)

Cling to Him

Image
Many are saying, “Oh, that we might see some good!” Lift up the light of Your face upon us, O LORD. You have put joy in my heart, more than [others know]… In peace [and with a tranquil heart] I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety and confident trust. — Psalm 4:6-8 (AMP) In the midst of troubling times, children of God can dwell in peace and safety as we confidently trust in Him. Because He is our Helper, we can sing for joy in the shadow of His wings. Cling to Yahweh. His strong right hand supports you. For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings [where I am always protected] I sing for joy. My soul [my life, my very self] clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.  — Psalm 63:7-8 (AMP)

Seek Him First

Image
“ But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval. ” — John 6:27 (NLT) Don’t strive for the perishable things of this world. Instead, strive for what matters most. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:33) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (Psalm 105:4 NASB)  Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. — Psalm 119:2 (AMP)

He has Overcome

Image
Then one of the [twenty-four] elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look closely, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome and conquered! He can open the scroll and [break] its seven seals.” — Revelation 5:5 (AMP) Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. (See Psalm 30:5) We experience troubles in this life, but we can rejoice because our God reigns. Jesus has overcome this world and we are more than conquerors in Him. The Lion of Judah is on the throne. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:16 AMP) I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. But he said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God .” (Revelation 22:8-9 NASB) We are not to bow to anything or anyo

He’s Coming!

Image
“I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, on the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. “And to Him (the Messiah) was given dominion (supreme authority), glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and speakers of every language should serve and worship Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.” — Daniel 7:13-14 (AMP) “Expect to witness amazing and perplexing signs with the sun, the moon, and the stars. The raging of the sea will bring desperation and turmoil to many nations. Earthquakes will bring panic and disaster. What men see coming to the earth will cause the fear of doom to grip their hearts, for they will even see the powers of the heavenly realm shaken! And at last, when you see how the Son of Man comes—surrounded with a cloud, with great power and miracles, in the radiance of his splendor, and with gre

He Goes With Us

Image
The LORD replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” — Exodus 33:14 (NLT) …now [at this very moment] in Christ Jesus you who once were [so very] far away [from God] have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (Ephesians 2:13 AMP) Just as the LORD was with Moses, He personally goes with you, and everything will be fine for you. The Lord knows everything there is to know about you. He perceives every movement of your heart and soul, and He understands your every thought before it even enters your mind. (See Psalm 139:1-2 TPT) By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. (1 John 4:13) His Holy Spirit is at work in you to bring about the will of our heavenly Father. Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them

Seek & Worship Him

Image
“ But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. ” — John 4:23-24 (NASB1995) Now is the time to seek the LORD with our whole heart and worship the Father in spirit and in truth. In Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB1995) the LORD says: “ You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ” “…learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.” (1 Chronicles 28:9 NLT) Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. And may we truly worship the Father, with our lives, our actions and the words we speak.

He Restores

Image
And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, he will set you firmly in place and build you up. — 1 Peter 5:10 (TPT) Psalm 23:3 (AMP), says the LORD refreshes and restores our soul (life); He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. In Jeremiah 30:17 (NKJV), He says: “I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds.” Joel 2:25 (NKJV) says He will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust… Our heavenly Father is faithful. After you have suffered for a little while, He will bring restoration. Remember that our suffering will be brief (temporary), but our glory is eternal. It will last forever. The God of all grace will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. (See 1 Peter 5:10 NASB 1995) For momentary,

Free & Fresh Access

Image
And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation. For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him! — Hebrews 10:19-20 (TPT) So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness. (Hebrews 4:16 TPT) And since we now have a magnificent High Priest to welcome us into God’s house, we come closer to God and approach him with an open heart, fully convinced that nothing will keep us at a distance from him. For our hearts have been sprinkled with blood to remove impurity, and we have been freed from an accusing conscience. Now we are clean, unstained, and presentable to God inside and out! (Hebrews 10:21-22 TPT) Com

What Honor

Image
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? — Psalm 8:3-4 (NKJV) Yet what honor you have given to men, created only a little lower than Elohim, crowned with glory and magnificence. You have delegated to us rulership over all you have made, with everything under our authority, placing earth itself under the feet of your image-bearers. (See Psalm 8:5-6 TPT)  We were created in His image. Let us bear His likeness: light, love, compassion, holiness, etc. The LORD is mindful of us. He cares for you and the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t worry. For your Father cares deeply about even the smallest detail of your life. (Matthew 10:30-31 TPT)

Limitless

Image
But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless. — Galatians 5:22-23 (TPT) Our mighty God is all-sufficient and all-bountiful. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. (2 Peter 1:3a NLT) We have a limitless supply of the fruit of the Spirit, as a result of His presence within us. We have an unlimited supply of love: unselfish concern for others. We have everlasting joy and inner peace, regardless of external circumstances. Through His Spirit Who dwells in us, we have patience: the ability to wait and choose how we act while waiting. We have limitless kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (

A Thorn

Image
… So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud.  — 2 Corinthians 12:7 (NLT) Three times I pleaded with the Lord to relieve me of this. But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. (2 Corinthians 12:8-9 TPT) If you have a thorn in your flesh, remember that the lovingkindness, grace and mercy of the Lord are more than enough and always available, regardless of the situation. Whatever God brings you to, He will bring you through. Amen!

There is No Other

Image
“I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is no other Savior. First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. You are witnesses that I am the only God,” says the LORD. — Isaiah 43:11-12 (NLT) The God of Israel (El Elohe Yisrael) is the only true, capital  “ G ”  God. He is Elohim, the all-powerful Creator of the universe, and all it contains. He spoke the world into existence. He is El Shaddai, the all-sufficient source of all our blessings. Our God never changes. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Nothing is too difficult for our great God. His love is unconditional and His promises never fail. Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. (James 4:8a TPT) The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my Savior. “ Praise the LORD! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God. ” — Revelation 19:1 (NLT)

He Rescues!

Image
“ Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you, Israel, to the one who shaped who you are. Do not fear, for I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you. I have called you by name, and you are mine. ” — Isaiah 43:1 (TPT) Our heavenly Father, never said His people would not go through trouble. Daniel had to spend the night in the lion’s den. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego endured the fiery furnace. Joseph was thrown in a pit and spent time in prison before he served in the palace. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the One Who created us, is all-powerful and He comes to the rescue each and every time. Great is our God! He is El Elyon, the God Most High. Psalm 34:19 (NASB) says: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all . “...There is no other god who can rescue like this!” (Daniel 3:29 NLT)  ...I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the LORD because he is good to me . — Psalm 13:5-6 (NLT

More Than Enough

Image
But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (TPT) In Jesus, we have more than enough. His grace, lovingkindness and mercy are more than enough and they are always available in every situation. His power shows itself most effectively in our weaknesses. Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you! Pause in his presence (Psalm 62:8 TPT) Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD God is the eternal Rock. — Isaiah 26:4 (NLT)

The Same

Image
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. — Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV) Our Lord and Savior does not change. His name “Immanuel,” is translated, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23 NKJV) Immanuel is with us yesterday, today and forever. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. (See Revelation 1:8 NKJV) For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death. (Psalm 48:14 NKJV) No matter what happens from the beginning of our lives to the end, we can count on Jesus to be there with us. And if He is with us, who can stand against us? “ At the beginning You founded the earth; the heavens are the work of Your hands. Even they will perish, but You endure; Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them and they shall be changed. “But You remain the same, and Your years will never end. ” — Psalm 102:25-27 (AMP)

The Continual Call

Image
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. — Revelation 22:17 (NLT) In John 6:37 (AMP), Jesus said: “All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me].” The call to come to Christ is continual. It is an open invitation to all. As believers, the church is to echo the call of the Holy Spirit and invite others to “Come.” Open your heart and receive the love, forgiveness and grace we have in our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Come and walk In the light of the LORD. “ Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you… ” — Isaiah 55:3 (NKJV)

For His Purposes

Image
So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes. — Ephesians 5:15-16 (TPT) Let us make the most of our time on earth. Recognize and utilize every opportunity we have, to answer the call Elohim has on our lives, because the days are filled with evil. However, we know that God, who is deeply concerned about us, causes ALL things to work together for good to those who love God, and are called to fulfill His purpose (See Romans 8:28), not our own selfish, fleshly desires. And the plans He has for us are good, for peace and well-being, not for disaster, to give us a glorious future and a living hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11) Let the shining light of truth guide you in your choices and decisions. And may the revelation of God's Word make your pathway clear. (See Psalm 119:105 TPT)

Put On the New

Image
Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. — Ephesians 4:21-24 (NLT) I will sing and greatly rejoice in Yahweh! My whole being vibrates with shouts of joy in my God! For he has dressed me with salvation and wrapped me in the robe of his righteousness! I appear like a bridegroom on his wedding day, decked out with a beautiful sash, or like a radiant bride adorned with sparkling jewels. (Isaiah 61:10 TPT) For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21 NLT) I urge you to put on your new nature and lead a life worthy of your calling.  We have been co-resurrected with Christ so that we could be empowered to walk in the fre

Be Wise

Image
“ Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. ” — Matthew 7:24-25 (NASB) No matter what you build your house on, the winds of adversity are going to blow and beat on your house. The flood waters of trouble are going to come whether you build on sand or the rock. It is not wise to build your life on the shifting sands of what the current culture says is right. The one who builds their life on the Word of God, with Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone is wise. Whoever trusts in this stone as a foundation will never have cause to regret it. (See 1 Peter 2:7 MSG) “ And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed agai
