Redeemed from the Battle!

He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me. —Psalm 55:18 (NKJV)

God will redeem you from whatever battles rage in your soul. Whether it is an addiction, or a battle against discouragement and depression, the battle is the LORD’s! Call upon God, morning, noon and night, and the LORD shall save you. Pray and cry aloud and He will hear your voice (Psalm 55:16-17). Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:19). Through our God we gain the victory because He tramples down our adversaries (Psalm 60:12)!
