Hope in Him

Image
“Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.” — Psalms 42:5 (NASB1995) When challenging situations arise, keep your hope in Yahweh alive. He will help you. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 NKJV) How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Who keeps faith forever; (Psalm 146:5-6 NASB1995) For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my trust and the source of my confidence from my youth. (Psalms 71:5 AMP) …as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more. (Psalms 71:14 NASB1995)

Don't Despair

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 NLT) You can be certain that whatever challenges you are dealing with, Yahweh will work it all together for good. Everything that happens in this life will not be good, but when God reveals the whole plan, we are able to see the good that comes out of each situation. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. (Romans 5:3 NLT) We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (James 5:11 NASB1995)  I would have despaired unless

Lead Me to The Rock

Image
“Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” — Psalms 61:1-2 (NASB1995) No matter where we are, we can always cry out for our heavenly Father’s help. He is faithful to lead us and guide us along the path of everlasting life. Stay close to Him. He alone is our rock and our salvation. He is a refuge for us, a tower of strength against the enemy. Dwell in His tent forever. Take refuge in the shelter of His wings. (See Psalms 61:3-4 NASB1995) Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:8 AMP) “He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?” — Psalms 62:2 (TPT)

The Chief Corner Stone

Image
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. This is the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:22-24 (NASB1995) First Peter 2:6 (NASB) says: “Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.” This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, “The stone which the builders rejected, this became the very corner stone,” and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed. (1 Peter 2:7-8 NASB1995) Come to Him [the risen Lord] as to a living Stone which men rejected and threw away, but which is choice and precious in the sight of God.  (1 Peter 2:4 AMP) Trust in and rely on Him, God’s only Son—the Source of our salvation. Our satisfaction and greatest joy is in Him.

A Shield About Me

Image
But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head. I was crying to the LORD with my voice, and He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah. — Psalms 3:3-4 (NASB1995) Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. (Proverbs 30:5 NLT) Just as soldiers have to keep a tight hold on their shield for it to be effective, we have to hold onto Yahweh, and hide in Him to be kept safe from the flaming arrows of the evil one. Blessed be the LORD, because He has heard the voice of my supplication. The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. (Psalms 28:6-7 AMP) Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalms 55:22 NASB1995) …I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

How Brief

Image
“One day we will each be swept away into the sleep of death. We glide along through the tides of time— so quickly gone, like a dream that fades at dawn, like glistening grass that springs up one day and is dry and withered the next, ready to be cut down!” — Psalms‬ ‭90‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭(TPT‬‬) The number of our days have already been determined. All of the days ordained for each person were written in His book before we drew our first breath. (See Psalms 139:16) I have five full decades behind me, and have embarked into the sixth. Sounds like a long time, but oh, how brief it seems. James 4:14 says: Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while , then it’s gone. What we do in that “little while” matters. May Yahweh teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom. (See Psalms 90:12 NLT) He will guide us with His counsel, and lead us to a glorious destiny. (See Psalms 73:24 NLT) Let us love God, love others and faithfully follow Him all the days of our lives

He is Faithful to Forgive

Image
“I acknowledged my sin to You, and  my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah.” — Psalms 32:5 (NASB1995) David says when he kept silent about his sin, his body wasted away… (See Psalms 32:3) Let us repent and confess our sins to Yahweh. He desires truth in the innermost being (See Psalms 51:6) Expose the deeds of the darkness to the light of His love, grace and mercy. Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, (Acts 17:30).  If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8-9 NASB1995) How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no decei

Give Thanks

Image
Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning. — Psalms 30:4-5 (NASB1995) You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever! (Psalms 30:11-12 NLT) Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34 NLT) Amen and hallelujah!

Faithfully Follow

Image
“Praise God, all you peoples. Praise him everywhere and let everyone know you love him! There’s no doubt about it: God holds our lives safely in his hands. He’s the one who keeps us faithfully following him.” — Psalms 66:8-9 (TPT) For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined. You made men ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water, yet You brought us out into a place of abundance. (Psalms 66:10,12 NASB1995) Let us faithfully follow Yahweh, no matter what set of circumstances come our way. We may have to go through the fire and floodwaters, but He is faithful to bring us out on the other side. He crowns the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. (See Psalms 65:11 NLT)

Trust in His Name

Image
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. — Psalms 20:7 (AMP) Instead of relying on the systems of this world, remember and trust in the name of Yahweh, our God. He is El Roi, The God Who Sees me. (See Genesis 16:13) Just as He saw Hagar wandering in the wilderness, He sees you and is aware of your struggles. Call upon Yahweh. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 124:8 NASB1995)  For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13 NKJV) He is also Jehovah-Jireh, The-LORD-Will-Provide. (See Genesis 22:14) And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 NASB1995) Amen. O Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! (Psalms 8:9 LSB) I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore. (Psalms 86:12 NKJV) And those who know Your name will put their trust

More Than Conquerors

Image
O give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is in vain. Through God we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries. — Psalms 60:1-2 (NASB1995) Here on earth we will have many trials, temptations and sorrows. Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! (Romans 8:37 TPT) Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19 NASB1995) God arms us with strength for the battle and subdues our enemies under our feet. (See Psalms 18:39 NLT) And with each and every temptation He also makes a way of escape, that we may be able overcome it. (See 1 Corinthians 10:13) Let us thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57 TPT) He not only gives us victory over our enemies, but over sin and death as well.

God With Us

Image
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” — Matthew 1:23 (NASB1995) We are never alone. God is always with us. And with the Lord on our side, who can stand against us? In 2 Timothy 4:16-17, the Apostle Paul says, at his first trial no one supported him. Everyone abandoned him. But, he says, the Lord stood with Him and gave him strength. If every person who says they have your back, deserts you, know that God is with you. No matter what kind of situation you face, look to see God at work and seek His wisdom and guidance. The Apostle Paul goes on to say: Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. (2 Timothy 4:18 NLT) He will do the same for you.

Fear the LORD

Image
But the LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. — Psalms 33:18-19 (NLT) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. (See Proverbs 9:10 & 3:7) “For the eyes of the Lord Yahweh rest upon the godly, and his heart responds to their prayers. But he turns his back on those who practice evil.” ‭‭(1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬) Let all the earth fear Yahweh; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. (Psalms 33:8 LSB) Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. (Psalms 96:4 NLT) Honor Yahweh with a humble heart and awe-inspired reverence.  Not only are the eyes of the LORD on those who fear Him, Psalms 34:7 (NASB1995) says: The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O [reverently] fea

A Strong Support

Image
For the eyes of Yahweh move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is wholly devoted to Him. — 2 Chronicles 16:9a (LSB) May your heart be loyal to the LORD our God, all of your days. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. And when the enemy attacks, in the day of distress, the LORD will support you. (See Psalms 18:8 NLT) You can do all things [which He has called you to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers you [to fulfill His purpose...] (See Philippians 4:13 AMP) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. (Ephesians 6:10 AMP) After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. — 1 Peter 5:10 (NASB1995)

Always Good

Image
For YAHWEH is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation! — Psalms 100:5 (TPT) The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (Psalms 145:9)  God is good and He does not change. (See Malachi 3:6) Like the father of the prodigal son, His arms are always open to receive you and draw you closer to Him. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. (See Psalms 100:5 & 118:1 NKJV) He is good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him. (See Psalms 86:5) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalms 34:8) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalms 10

Believe

Image
I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of Yahweh
in the land of the living. — Psalms 27:13 (LSB) Second Corinthians 4:8 (NLT) says: We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. What keeps us from being in despair? Believing that we will see the goodness of Almighty God in the land of the living. Remember, without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (See Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) So let us walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] (See 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP) Know that our God is a Promise Keeper. He fulfills every promise He has spoken. In Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV), He says: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper

Yahweh Reigns!

Image
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns.” — 1 Chronicles 16:31 (LSB) Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples. (1 Chronicles 16:8 LSB) Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. (1 Chronicles 16:23 NKJV) No matter how dire the state of affairs appears on the earth, we can be joyful because Elohim, our all-powerful God stills reigns. God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne. (Psalms 47:8 NKJV) His plan and purpose will prevail. Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (1 Chronicles 16:11 NASB1995) And a voice came from the throne, saying,  “Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great.” Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lo

Surrounded

Image
Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. (2 Kings 6:15) When the servant asked Elisha what to do, he answered: “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (See 2 Kings 15-16) Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. — 2 Kings 6:17 (NASB1995) No matter how difficult the circumstances you face, I pray that your eyes would be opened to see with eyes of faith. Though it may seem the enemy has you surrounded, remember that Yahweh is with you, and there are more with you than with the enemy. Amen.
