A Garment of Praise

He has sent me to
...bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, 
the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a 
garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
Isaiah 61:1, 3 (NIV)

The Sovereign LORD sent Jesus Christ to the earth to release the prisoners from darkness. Jesus gives us a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. He has given us reason to rejoice. The brilliant light of Jesus shines upon us and chases away the darkness. Jesus clothes us with eternal hope, deep peace and abundant joy. Praise Him for all He is doing in your life.
