Like a Shepherd

See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him.
See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.
He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and
carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.
Isaiah 40:10-11 (NIV)

The LORD is our strong shepherd and we are the flock under His tender care. He calls us each by name and amply supplies all of our needs. The LORD lovingly carries us close to His heart, where we are comforted and protected. The good shepherd loves us so much He gave His life to save us. Praise the LORD!
