Hope in the Lord

But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper,
whose hope is in the Lord their God.
He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry.
The Lord frees the prisoners.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down.
The Lord loves the godly.
Psalm 146:5, 7-8 (NLT)

Hope in the Lord because He is your helper. It is better to put your confidence in the God of Israel than in man. The Lord feeds the hungry and sets the prisoners free. He opens the eyes of the blind and lifts up those who are down. Keep your hope in the Lord. He is forever faithful.
