We are His

By -
Give thanks to the Lord and pray to him.
Tell the nations what he has done.
Sing to him; sing praises to him.
Tell about all his miracles.
Be glad that you are his;
let those who seek the Lord be happy.
1 Chronicles 16:8-10 (NCV)

Let us be glad that we belong to the LORD. He chose us in Him before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:4, NIV) and adopted us into His family. We received His Spirit of sonship and can cry out "Abba Father" (Romans 8:15, NIV). There is no better place for us, than in the hands of the One who formed us. He loves us and wants us close to Him. Look to the LORD and be happy. As long as you rely on Him, you will not be disappointed. It is in Him that we find complete satisfaction.
