“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."

Don't put much value in the passing fancies of this world. They are here one moment and gone the next. When you stockpile your treasures in heaven, where they cannot be stolen, your heart will surely follow and you will not suffer loss of the things you most cherished. Among the heavenly treasures that transcend time are the love, patience and grace we extend to others, including our enemies.
