He Will Do It

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (NIV)

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears (Philippians 1:5:6, The Message). The Apostle Paul tells us that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us (Romans 8:18). And 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. Let us keep our eye on the prize and know in our hearts and minds that God will do it. He will bring us through to a victorious finish that will make us forget all about the troubles we experienced along the way.
