It's Only by His Grace!

You are partners with Christ Jesus because of God. Jesus has become our wisdom sent from God, our righteousness, our holiness, and our ransom from sin. —1 Corinthians 1:30 (GW)

Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:30, The Message). Let us not think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. It is only by the grace of God that we are who we are today. Jesus has become our righteousness and holiness. He paid the price for our sin and brought us back into fellowship with our heavenly Father. It is not something we could have done for ourselves. He has become for us wisdom from God. Thank you, Jesus!
