Where Does Distress Drive You?

Distress that drives us to God does that. It turns us around. It gets us back in the way of salvation. We never regret that kind of pain. But those who let distress drive them away from God are full of regrets, end up on a deathbed of regrets. —2 Corinthians 7:10 (The Message)

Never let distress drive you away from God. The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). The LORD is our rock, our fortress and our deliverer. When the enemy strikes, lift up the shield of faith and press in, with even more determination, toward God and His will. Blessed are all who take refuge in the LORD (Psalm 2:12). Let distress drive you into the arms of Jesus Christ, our Savior and you will have no regrets!
