“Come Close”

So place yourselves under God’s authority. Resist the devil, and he will run away from you. Come close to God, and he will come close to you. — James 4:7-8a (GW)

God is calling us to come up higher and dwell close to Him. Our heavenly Father wants to be close enough to catch you, if you fall and support you when you are weak. Take refuge in the shadow of His wings and live life above your circumstances. As the psalmist said, “lead me to the rock that is higher than I,” (Psalm 61:2).

Be Captivated by Christ
