Don't be Surprised

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. —1 Peter 4:12-13 (NIV)

We can endure the fiery trials that come, knowing that God will not allow more than we can bear. And after you have suffered a little while, God will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation (1 Peter 5:10). Amen.
