Who Has Your Heart?

The Lord says, “These people worship me with their mouths and honor me with their lips. But their hearts are far from me, and their worship of me is based on rules made by humans.” —Isaiah 29:13 (GW)

Sometimes, we can get so caught up in trying to say the right things, and do the right things but our hearts are not necessarily in it. We are just going through the motions. But, the eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose HEARTS are fully committed to him (2 Chronicles 16:9). God wants our hearts to be devoted to Him. When we set our affections on the LORD, we form a bond that is not easily broken and we truly belong to Him.

Be Captivated by Christ
