Power to Keep Calm

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whom You discipline and instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, that You may give him power to keep himself calm in the days of adversity, until the [inevitable] pit of corruption is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not cast off nor spurn His people, neither will He abandon His heritage. Psalm 94:12-14 (AMP)

The fact that our great God will never abandon us or reject us gives us power to keep ourselves calm in the midst of adversity and troubling times. May the center of our being remain in perfect peace, no matter how challenging the circumstances appear. As you keep calm, listen for and follow the direction of the Lord.
