A Greater Power

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said. —2 Chronicles 32:7-8 (NIV)

So the LORD sent an angel and saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of their enemies. He took care of them on every side (2 Chronicles 32:21, 22). May we be strong and courageous, because there is a far greater power with us. The LORD our God is with us to help us and take care of us. Our battles belong to the LORD! Give thanks to God, who always leads us in triumph, in Christ!

Be Captivated by Christ
