A Very Present Help

Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. —Psalm 124:8 (NIV)

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber (Psalm 121:1-3 NIV). God is a very present help. He never sleeps nor does He go on vacation. His care is constant. You will never see an “out of the office” sign posted on the doors of heaven. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever (Psalm 121:8 NLT).
