Light in the Darkness

You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. —Psalm 18:28-29 (NIV)

Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous (Psalm 112:4 NIV). On your darkest day, the light of the LORD will arise. When we fall, we will arise; when we sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to us (Micah 7:8). Praise God!
