Never Shaken

…that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this. For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know. —1 Thessalonians 3:3-4 (NKJV)

Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you (1 Peter 4:12 NLT). In this world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). Never let the storms of life move you. Stand on the Word of God. No matter what comes our way, we are mighty and secure, in Jesus. He is our strong foundation.

Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]. (1 Thessalonians 5:24 AMP). God will ensure His Word comes to pass and the call is fulfilled, our part is to stay on His altar and let His power work in us and through us.
