Unshakable & Assured

…strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” —Acts 14:22 (NKJV)

Paul and Barnabas encouraged the believers to continue in the faith, and they also warned believers that we will go through many (not a few) tribulations. The word “through” indicates forward movement, a step-by-step progression, a victorious outcome. No matter what adverse circumstances arise, don’t stop and He will see you through. You overcome because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

“I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.” John 16:33 (MSG)
