An Ever-Present Help

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. —Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

If you are feeling all alone in the troubles and trials that you are going through, know that God is our refuge and strength. He is always ready to help in times of trouble. He is mighty and immovable. Your circumstances cannot move Him. He is a strong and impenetrable fortress. So we will not fear when disaster strikes and our world seems to be falling apart. The mountains that stand before you today will crumble in His Presence. Our God has a well-proven track record of delivering His people from all their troubles. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you.
