Be Still & Silent

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. —Mark 4:39 (NKJV)

When Jesus spoke peace, there was a great calm. Declare His peace over your stormy situation. May you experience a great calm in your life. May a great calm come over relationships that suffer due to strife. Be silent and listen for the voice of the LORD. He will give you the right words to speak at the right time.

In 2 Chronicles 20:17, the LORD tells His people, “You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD…”  With us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles. (2 Chronicles 32:8) Be still and wait until the LORD gives you direction. For the battle is the LORD’s and He has already earned the victory for us.

Be Captivated by Christ
