God is Able

"If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
Daniel 3:17 (NIV)

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into a blazing furnace heated seven times hotter than usual. Not only did they come out unharmed, but the smell of fire wasn't even on them. The God we serve is more than able to do the same for you. If the flames of adversity are threatening to consume you, keep trusting in God and He will bring you through.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” — Daniel 3:16-18 (NASB1995) Our attitude and mindset should be similar to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego before they were thrown into the fiery furnace.
