In Our Defense

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense - Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
1 John 2:1 (NIV)

The Apostle John wrote this letter warning Christians about being misled away from the truth. Satan prowls about looking for someone to devour and He accuses us before God. But we have the Lord Jesus Christ who speaks to the Father in our defense. Praise the Lord.
