They Gave Him Gifts

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.
Matthew 2:11 (NIV)

After Jesus was born, Magi from the east went to Bethlehem to worship Jesus and to present Him with gifts. Have you opened the treasure of your heart for the Lord? I encourage you to lay your heart in the hands of Jesus so He can fill it with His eternal love and compassion. Give Him your mind so you can be transformed as your mind is renewed with His Word (Romans 12:2). Offer your body to Jesus, as a living sacrifice so you may be holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1). These are the treasures we are to present to the Lord: our hearts, our minds and our bodies. Amen.
