Rebirth and Renewal

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit...
Titus 3:4-5 (NIV)

When we accepted Christ Jesus we were born again, into eternal life. The old passed away and God created us anew. God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). We have an abundant new life in Christ, a life of hope and faith, a life of power and strength. Thank God for His love, kindness and mercy. Amen.
