Boast in the Lord

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 (NIV)

Jesus Christ is our righteousness, and holiness. He is the One who redeems us. It is the grace of God that has done this. We could have never achieved this on our own. Therefore, let us not boast about how great we are. Let us boast about the greatness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
