Let His Light Shine!

God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:5-7 (NKJ)

We have been called out of darkness and into God's wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9). We are to let our light shine before men, that they may see our good deeds and praise our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). As we allow the light of God to shine in our hearts and illuminate the dark world around us, we will walk in unconditional love and forgiveness. We will humble ourselves and consider the needs of others more important than our own. We will have compassion and be patient with others. Allow God to wrap you in His brilliant light and then share His light with all who come your way.
