Count it all as Garbage

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him.
Philippians 3:8-9 (NLT)

Those things which matter most, must never be sacrificed for the insignificant things. The world has many things to offer that consume our time and energy, and in the end, they will leave us empty and lifeless. The things of this world are worth nothing compared to the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus. Put more of a priority on doing things that lead to a deeper, more intimate relationship with our Savior. Jesus said, "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness," (Matthew 6:33).
