Favor for a Lifetime

Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people;
praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:4-5 (NIV)

God gives kindness, mercy and favor. His favor surrounds us like a shield. The favor of the LORD, grounds us like a strong mountain. His favor rests upon us and establishes the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17). Enjoy the LORD's favor. We may have seasons of sadness, but they will give way to rejoicing and laughter.
