Precious Promises

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
2 Peter 1:4 (NLT)

Our heavenly Father has given us many precious promises in His Word. And no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ, and in Him “Amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20). Through these promises we are able to share in God's divine nature, because they help us to escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

One of His great promises is that if we seek the Kingdom of God first, above all else, He will give us everything we need (Matthew 6:33). We shall not want. Amen.
