The Third Day!
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”—Luke 24:5-7 (NKJV)
Jesus bore our griefs and suffering. He carried our sorrows; He was afflicted. He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities; (Isaiah 53:4-5). He endured the cross and His body was laid in a tomb. But on the third day it was said of Him, “He is risen!” We have been born again into a LIVING hope. The third day brought about VICTORY over sin and death, freedom and joy. We may have to go through some stuff, but remember the 3rd day! In Christ Jesus, our Savior, we already have the victory. Amen!
