A Good Work!

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; —Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

As we submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit at work in us, we can be certain that God will continue to perfect that good work and bring it to full completion. The Message version says, He will “keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish.” “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV).
