Listen for God’s Voice

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. 
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!—Proverbs 3:5-8 (MSG)

In our hearts, we may make our plans, but remember, it is the LORD who establishes and directs our steps. (Proverbs 16:9) In the coming year, may we listen for God’s voice and follow through with the action He is calling us to take. Not our will, but His be done. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).
